Mafia 101: The Basics [Beginner's Mafia]

Glad no-one died. It may have been the doctor making a save or an inactive mafia. Maybe we should look at our inactive players.

Wow, we were really lucky today. Noone died this night, Zehn who got kicked was a mafia and due to Klippys mistake we have a confirmed inno. I don't want to imagine our situation if Zehn would have been a villager.

If you guys want to continue blaming Ketsuki for pursuing Wiicked, by all means, go on, it's only a game... but I really don't think he's a mafia in this game. He's been pretty active, giving reasons, Wiicked didn't manage to put up a suitable defense.... I think we should look elsewhere.

(too tired for any serious post right now, hopefully I can do some re-reads and analyse tomorrow)

Well, if the Sheriff can't bring the list of suspects down to two or, preferably, one, being silent for one more day is okay. As for the deputy, well he blew it when he shot Sun and now he's effectively another villager :c.

As for Wiicked, I gave a lot of valid reasons and near the end he was talking in a very suspicious way.

Like you guys say, if it wasn't the doctor making a save, the mafia is inactive. However, since they did kill yesterday, if this is the case, we can assume it's someone who was active in previous phases but isn't now. Of course, the doctor could've made a great save.
 
I feel it's more likely this mafia member wasn't inactive. Zehn was, and they died from inactivity, but we still had mafia kills before that during Zehn's inactive period, so I doubt they went quiet as well.
 
Everyone except Zehn had been active in the daytime discussions so the doctor probably made the right choice last night and prevented a kill. Well done doctor!

I have this feeling that Gobln is mafia but it's only a feeling so I won't act on it, unless we've got nothing else.

We've got no choice but wait and see what the Sheriff has to say, if anything.

Unfortunately I can't wait, most updates to the end-of-day/night has happened while sleeping and it's late for a weekday for me as it is. If I manage to be early enough I may change it, but can't promise.

That and the Sheriff had the better part of the day to say something. They may not yet have enough information, e.g. if they were roleblocked, hence the silence. *shrug*

I don't follow the suggestion that the remaining mafia person was active but went inactive (granted, this makes me suspicious of a few people, not just one said this.) But reading between the lines: "i agree with this, to an extent. I think there are mafia hiding under inactivity." What did you agree with only to an extent - was the bit you disagreed with "Glad no-one died."? For you seem to agree with the idea the mafia person is quiet, while to not agree the (perfectly valid imo) notion the doctor may have intervened doesn't make sense either.

This makes me weary to kill Ketsueki, they dont seem scared at all.

@Aiden is this normal for their playstyle?

We already knew about Aiden and Sun is dead but at least now we can keep Universe out of the suss list too. That leaves us with these players as unknown/unconfirmed roles (not counting me);

They've been active the whole game. In fact, I read back and they've posted in practically each day phase so we're still no closer to a suspect. I'm going to read all the posts once more and see what I can find.

EDIT: Realised that Caps was killed. That brings the names on the list down to four;

So we can now narrow down the subjects. I believe Gobln's claim as there hasn't been a counter claim. I can see KetsuekiR being mafia, but I don't think she is.
 
I have a slight suspicion that Archy might be mafia from the way they've behaved and the fact that they never really defended themselves whenever they were accused, preferring, instead, to slip through without ever claiming that they aren't mafia. I mean, that's how some people play, even when they're inno so I can't really be sure. Just a hunch though.

ever since Zehn got kicked off from being the second mafia member.
