Looks so natural...

I like the trees. the waterfall rocks... So natural..

Though I just tthink it'd be better to change the mountain-can-be-walked-on-tiles.

Rated: 9.3\10

ok hai me again, i got a route from the summit of my mountain.

tiles-Neti's frozen rombase
name-cardinal Summit
comments-its hard to travel up there :P

Spoiler:

6/10

The rocks and trees are block-y at some places.
The path doesn't lead to the house and the bridge isn't covered in snow.
And the grass has too many empty spots.

But I like the shape of the frozen pond on the right. :D

Map Name: Shore-side recreation
Map Game: Fire Red

Comments: My first go at mapping/general pokemon modding. Yes the building with the purple frame is built into the rocks, it's roof is level with the top. Wanted to see what I could do with the default tiles in the game.

Mapshot:see attachment

4/10

PokeCentres and Marts doesn't look good with these kind of roofs.

The sand is pointy for the lower half of the map, the grass has too many empty spots.

I like the upper right part of the map however.

First off, your mountains are way too square looking. Also, what's with the only flowers in the map being inside that little crater? There you should try to make the gaps in between the trees a lot smaller. Don't use so many small trees. The majority of your map should be large trees.

Hey there,
it's been a while since I posted my last map; here's a new one. I matched this map with five others, so there won't be any border errors. I'm still at a loss with creating waterfalls and that's why I'd like to hear your suggestions xD

The grass placement, the paths, everything!
the is nothing that I don't like, so why not it be 10/10?

Sweet baby Jesus....
Every time I see one of your maps, I weep tears of joy, and kill a muppet.
Still, like every map, it does have it's flaws, for one....
I'm sorry but now i'm just BSing.
I can not find a single flaw, and I'm not going to give it a nine,
I'm giving it a ten, for a perfect map.
Please, keep astouding me with your incredible maps.

Ill give a whack at it.

If only I could rate on tile/palletes x3, wrong thread for that kind of C&C...

The start of the cave is good, but it looks like the entrance has a tile error, or maybe that's on purpose x3. The way you formed the cave mountains (mountains in a cave? O.o Who do we say this? xP) is good, fluctuating in length gives it a natural look. In some places, the rocks make it annoying, but I'm sure it'll be alright during gameplay., Though the ledge at the topish seems out of place, I suggest making it smaller.

I give it a 8/10 x3

Okay I posted this in the MotM, so I guess I should post it here too.

Very, very nice, simple map!

It's amazing, but quite simple.

Yet there's one little problem; there aren't any.

The map is so cute!
But I really don't like it when there are holes in the tall grass. 8/10

Oh my, the tiles are amazing!

But I don't like it how the grass is spread, especially the ones on the cave entrance.
Other than that, it's flawless. 9/10

Comments: I just posted this in the Map of the Month thread and decided to get some reviews at the same time. I know some people don't like this natural style of mapping. If you're one of them, then don't even bother reviewing unless you're going to give some real advice.

Ahhhhh.... the grass placement is so much better from your last map. It seems like the paths are a little bit big in some areas though, so you might want to think about making it a touch smaller in some places. There are plenty of things you could use to do that, IE, I don't think I see a single 1-tile tree in there. I don't really have anything else significant to say about it... it doesn't feel like a 10 for me though just yet. 8/10

Edit: It could be because it lacks decorations such as paths, rocks, and other fancy things. Plus the ground tile itself looks almost like a solid color, which kinda adds to that feeling of it being too open, even when it actually might not be.
