Darn, I remember seeing it somewhere. Either I made a mistake or the posts got removed.

Anyway, I still think Get TV will show something this week. It has been awhile since the last reveals (excluding the trailer).

Serebii tweeted it but it's on the 14th a.k.a all the stuff we'll get from CoroCoro officially on the 13th.

I'm not going to get my hopes up for Get TV, because last time the "new" info was just "speculation" about how the Kyogre and Groudon on the cover were different than the base forms, so it could just be a recap or a hint or something.

I have a feeling that all pokemon revealed in that trailer will get megas, with the exception of pikachu because of the new contest forms.

If that's the case, we will probably see mega flygon (omg please), mega wailord, mega hariyama and mega cacturne.

The trailer is very "mega" oriented, and most pokemon which appeared already have mega forms.

It should be pretty intriguing to see how they handle Mega-Wailord. Its design is pretty round and simplistic, which I'd imagine to be sort of difficult to make any improvement. Stats-wise, it'd be nice if it were to gain more health, as well as Defense and Special Defense. As far as Mega-Flygon goes, I'd love it! Though, chances of it happening are a little low, if you ask me, since they had already given us two dragon-type mega-evolutions in ORAS. However, it definitely shouldn't hurt to have one more. Mega-Hariyama--that would be great, too! It's significantly underrated; a mega-form would surely help.

Exactly, Flygon would be the only hoenn Dragon not to get one, so it does actually make sense. That,@nd its a fan favourite, So I think we are getting one.

More health? It has plenty that it doesn't need any. Plus chances of a Mega getting a HP boost are low. Instead they should focus on it's defenses. With it's already high HP and boosted defenses it'll be able to stay in the battle longer.
As for design they could make it a hump-back whale. It could get the ability Thick Fat, even though it wouldn't help it it makes as much sense as Shell Armor on Mega Slowbro, seeing how Whales are known for their thick fat reserves. Or perhaps they'lll give it Sturdy. If it get's Sturdy they could focus on it's offenses and speed with a smaller defense boost.

Honestly though, I cannot imagine how mega wailord will look like. It's already so freaking huge.

Or could wailmer sprites be used for all diving scenes instead of getting a mega...

"Just add spikes to it" xD. I could see Gamefreak just adding spikes for some reason.

Interestingly Wailord is less than half the size of a real Blue Whale, and not even close to the weight of one... So it's Mega could double it's size and even it's weight. Primal Kyogre's length doubled, and irc so did Primal Groudon's weight. So it's possible...

Maybe wailord Mega could be some kind of Humpback whale. If it go primal we could get something similar to the theory whale came from the land and returned to the sea to evolve.

Hopefully we get some information regarding new mega evolutions tonight, or atleast some sort of hint. iirc Pokemon Get TV is supposed to be showing some exclusive gameplay footage.

Does Wailord need a Mega? To me he's basically Mega Wailmer haha

Who knows? Game Freak has made it quite obvious that very unexpected Pokemon can get mega evolutions.

Though I agree about it being a mega wailmer. But wailmer is so cute.

If they do, I'll probably rage at the fact that these TV crew members will start talking and exclaiming so loud that I can barely hear any in-game music.

Realistically it could use either a Mega or a normal evolution. It may be big but it's not nearly as big as it's real life inspiration. Also it's stats could use boosting...

From the trailer, Archie taunts the player about mega evolution in meteor falls.

That probably indicates that you should get the mega keystone fairly early in game.

And why's that? If anything it just tells me Archie has one of his own.

I wish they would give mega evolutions to Pokemon you get near the beginning of the game. Mega Linoone, Mega Mightyena, Mega Pelipper, etc. It would be awesome to use them.

I'll like to see Mega Linoone gain a large boost in attack, and speed, with minor boosts in defenses. As for it's ability I see it getting either Vital Spirit or Normalize as it's ability. Also perhaps become Normal/Electric
Mega Mightyena I'll like to see get a boost in speed and defense. I can see it getting the ability Huge Power or Strong Jaw, if Strong Jaw then it should get a boost in attack too.
Mega Pelipper should get a boost in special attack, and special defense, and a smaller boost in speed. Also the ability Gale wings or Rain Dish will match it best.

Mega Swellow I'll like to see get a large boost in attack, a slight boost in it's defenses and speed. I can see it having Gale wings too.
Mega Gallade (as Ralts is an early, but rare mon) get a large boost in speed and attack (30 each), and slight boosts in each of it's defenses (20 each). I can see it getting the ability Super Luck or Technician.

I like the idea of Mega Linoone getting Normalize or Vital Spirit but not it becoming Normal/Electric. I would want it to be stay Normal since one ability would make all attacks normal and just give it more weaknesses and it only learns 4 electric attacks.

Mega Pelipper should get a boost in special attack, and special defense, and a smaller boost in speed. Also the ability Gale wings or Rain Dish will match it best.

Instead of Gale Wing (which would be extremely useful), I would go with a sp. defense variation of Big Pecks. It not really a fast Pokemon and considerably slow for a flying type.

I would see it getting a big boost in speed and a smaller boost in attack/defense. It's a very fast Pokemon and I think the mega form should be even faster. Gale Wings would work great for it.

I would say they would boost its Sp. Defense since it's already very high. Make it a great waller with a deadly edge. Technician is an interesting choice as it would allow a skill set with a lot of lower damaging skills (Rock Tomb, Aerial Ace, Power Up Punch, etc.) but I would rather it have Super Luck since its main attack sets (Night Slash, Slash, Psycho Cut, Leaf Blade, Close Combat) are all 70+.
