Yeah, it did battle, but it wouldn't obey me, and a while later when I oppened its Pika-Window, Pikachu made a wierd sound and glitched up.

PS: it's been a while but if I'm not mistaking Pikachu completley dissappears after going inside any building or cave that contains wild Pokemon. (ex: Pokemon Tower, Lavender, Mt.Moon, etc.) But it does return after you save the game, and turn it off/on. It still replies dead though...

That doesn't sound right to me either. Missingno is just a screw up in the game.

this is what i found out

missigno messes up the graphics when you watch its stats/go in a battle using it.. to cure it check the stat of another pokemon(unglitched) :rambo: and he dosent really break the data..just give problems when you start a new game like frequent game loss :\ a bit bad...

I got an very very very very wierd experience...while trading with my silver and crystal(my crystal is messed up:most people speak useless stuf like you ar champion and in battle when they send monsters its like this "en's dsadgwqdas mujef" watta bummer) so when i tried trading it and i kept scrolling down and one monster came out with the num.000 so it must be missingno....and there are also glitch pokemon(since they appear in later versions)which is #255 which is combusken(maybe) so i have no pictures yet...i'll post sum when i have them

probably missingno is just a test to try if the system of the game is correct and then they updated all of the monsters and forgot to replace the part where missingno roams..he must be a pokemon which was almost deleted but forgot to delete the pixels of missingno. but the name was erased and the system of the game cannot read the number of the pokemon so the name became MISSINGNO.

It's possible that Missingno isn't just a glitch. He could be a test. It causes a little too much major things to happen in the game like the cloning of the 6th item, the 6's and stuff. :P

I'm wondering. Did the Missingno have cries when you encountered them? I mean, you know, like when you encounter Rattata it says its name? I wonder if Missingno does that.

I have caught Missingno. in Pokemon Yellow with these gameshark codes: 01B6D7CF, 01B7D7CF, or 01B8D7CF. You might want to also try combinaitons of these codes. Missingno. has never messed up my game, just the sprite glitch. (the glitched up Pikachu and other pokemon in my party was because of a gameshark code that I thought might give me a Mewthree.)

I don't think Missingno. is a bad glitch Pokemon. You just have to be careful with them. I think that ghost/skeleton Missingno. are safer to catch than the blocky Missingno.

I think I know why the blocky Missingno. has such a weird sprite. In the tiles, there's no sprite for Blocky, but the game uses the other data as a sprite!

In the games, it has to do with your name. It all depends on what letters and symbols are in your name. If you have a y at the end of your name, you'll get the ghost Missingno. (I've had that happen before....with the name of Charity! :))

hm, I've never had any problems with the Missingno. When I see one though its all blocky but sometimes it was a Kanghaskan (sp?). I think it's a glitch too or it was meant to be there for a reason. Maybe to peak our interests like we're talking about it now eh lol.

Are you shoure it isn't a legindary bird that got forgotten that is possible. it says there are flying types and Missigono is a bird type. so i could be a legindary bird forgotten
