Wow, like that already hasn't been answered by a million-and-one members that act as if the information they hold was some secret unknown to mankind of how-to become a mod, XD.

I had an Idea where better members that arent really qualified to be mods but are still good members could be "Super-Members" And this would imply like moving, locking, delting or editing your own threads, and just your own. Anyway, just an idea.

That would be a good idea, except people may delete their own threads, after a few people posted in them, and then people would be like "My 1 post is gone! I want it backkkk!!!" But other than that, that would be cool/...

Yea but they could just get the Mod of that forum or some one higher to move the thread.

em]And also shoots the abuse rates sky high.

Well, if their thread get locks or someone makes a bad post then you could delete it and problem solved. Also, It gives mods less to worry about.
But if you give members Mod powers even in their own threads then they can open it if a Mod locks it.

How about keeping this simple, and have our fantasy group 'President' to be the single mod that gets to be elected by PC?(after staff nominations)

There are a zillion mods that are chosen by Staff, so why can't there just be ONE mod chosen by PC?

I know that is possible but you would have the same type of procedure when picking a moderator. If they seem like they can follow the rules then you would give it to them

And...? Whast the big diference between these and mods? XD
Sorry, but members are fine the way theyre now =\

My mother is a S-mod at a forum. She was there early enough, and also she was very into books (it was a book forums.) She did not ask to be a mod, she was chosen. I know most of the members want to be mods, but personaly I don't care. But hey, I don't want to act all nice and such, let's just say if you asked me to be a mod I would yes, if you didn't I can live with that!^^

Good Idea Ampharos but i agree with what Arcanine said. How about Super-Member can be a Sub-Mod.And Get very little features on the Mod CP.Since Mods cant be on all the time and Submods are ther.LOL!ANd for president a name People's champ
