▸ Defeated both rivals.
▸ Got the Sun Stone after arriving in Nimbasa City.
▸ Rushed over to Route 5, where I caught both a Solosis (nicknamed Saibou) and a Trubbish (nicknamed Gomi)
▸ Used the Sun Stone on Lilly after it reached level 26 and learned Giga Drain.
▸ Defeated N.
▸ Defeated Elesa.

▸ Defeated Cheren.
▸ Found and defeated the Plasmas.
▸ Defeated Clay.

▸ Saibou evolved into a Duosion.
▸ Went through Chargestone Cave.

▸ Remembered to stop by the guy in the Pokemon Center in Mistralton to see what Hidden Power Saibou had. It turned out to be Dragon, which is pretty awesome.

▸ Traversed through Eastern Unova. While doing so, I began to prepare my team for the second round of the E4 and the Champion. Also, I defeated both Cynthia and Morimoto once I felt like I was ready. They were my final tests of strength before the League battles.

Started my Black run on FireRed yesterday.

• Picked the male character, named him Red. Named my rival Green.
• Picked Bulbasaur as my starter, which will be used for HMs. After battling Green, I went and picked up Oak's Parcel.
• Returned, and got the Pokédex and Pokéballs. Went to catch a Snorlax, that I hacked in. Caught one, and named him Snarxe.
• Defeated Green next to Viridian and went through the Viridian Forest. Defeated Brock with the help of Belly Drum and Tackle.
• Continued through Mt. Moon, and defeated Green in Cerulean. After helping Bill and getting the boat ticket, I faced Misty and beat her.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Gray).

Alright, I decided to go with Gray for my next ultimate. I will be going in the order Yellow>Crystal>Sapphire>Pearl>Black.

First and Final Update on Yellow.

• Started by hacking in Tri-Bolt the Magnemite and went from there.
• I picked up Ricky the Machamp in the trade at Route 5, and caught Rhino the Rhyhorn in the Safari Zone to complete my team.
• The Elite Four wasn't too hard.
• Tri-Bolt beat Lorelei, and Rhino defeated Bruno and Agatha easily.
• Lance was a team effort though, as was the Champion, Gary.

It's been a while since I've updated.

I leveled up Savage by fighting through all the trainers on the way to Bill by having him first on my team, then switching him out. He only leveled up a few times before I got to Bill, (two at the most). Took Misty down extremely easily with Servo, because Thundershock just rocked her Starmie and Staryu.

After beating the Rocket Grunt and getting Dig, I gave it to Ravage and made my way towards the S.S. Anne, but first I stopped to get the BIKE VOUCHER. Aboard the S.S. Anne, I battled every trainer, leveling up everyone respectively, and eventually was a high enough level to defeat my rival. After rubbing the captains back, I got cut, which I gave to my newly appointed HM Slave, Charmander.

Brought Charmander back into my party (he was in the PC) and cut down the tree preventing me getting to Lt. Surge. I beat him and his trainers EASILY with Ravage, who just kept OHKOing them like crazy. I thanked him for Thunderbolt, which went to Servo, and I headed back up to Cereulean City to cut down some trees. I blindly fought my way through the Union(?) cave (the one that was really dark) and finally made it out to Lavender town after about 30 minutes of bumping into walls. Ravage leveled up about 5 times in here.

Once I was healed up, I went inside the Pokemon Tower and beat my rival. After heading South towards Snorlax and defeating all the fishermen, I traveled back to Route 8 and caught a Vulpix which will be evolved into a Ninetails when I finally acquire a Fire Stone.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Gray).

Alrighty now, my Gray Ultimate Monocolor has moved on to Crystal, and I've done a bunch of stuff. In fact, I've beaten the Elite Four and arrived in Vermilion City.

Update #1 on Crystal.

• Starter: Totodile
• After the early plot stuff, I caught Danny the Phanpy on the Mountain Road, then traded for Rocky the Onix in Violet City.
• Beat Falkner with Danny since Rocky won't obey.
• Also beat Bugsy with Danny for the same reason.
• Arrived in Goldenrod and caught an Abra, which I traded for Muscle the Machop (female? really?).
• Beat Whitney with Muscle easily.
• Danny evolved into Donphan!
• Morty was demolished by Rocky's Dig. Quick Claw activated twice in a row against Gengar, lol.
• Muscle evolved into Machoke!
• Fisher Ralph finally called with a Quilfish swarm, so I went and caught Puffer the Quilfish.
• After surfing to Cianwood, Rocky soloed Eusine, and Chuck was soloed by Puffer, who managed to Poison Poliwrath to death while asleep, lol.
• Beat up Team Rocket and then Pryce went down to Muscle easily.
• Then I went for Jasmine and beat her with Rocky's Screech+Dig combo.
• Went to Blackthorn City and caught Raptor the Skarmory on the Mountain Road.
• Booted Team Rocket out of Goldenrod City and Johto.
• Clair went down to a team effort, Puffer finishing strong with Sludge Bomb.
• Made my way up to Victory Road and the Elite Four.
• Will was a bit difficult because no one on my team could handle Psychic, but I eventually put him down.
• Koga was pretty easy. Danny ruled with Rollout.
• Bruno was done in by Puffer and Raptor.
• Karen was really hard too, Houndoom wouldn't go down for a while.
• Then it was time for Lance. He was the most difficult fight until I changed my lead to Puffer, who was able to bring down half his team with Rollout, and when he went down, Danny took over.
• Credits Rolled, and I ended up at home.
• Taught Ice Beam to Puffer, then took the ship to Kanto.
• Realized I never evolved Muscle into Machamp (which would have helped a lot in the E4), and I now have a Metal Coat for Rocky to evolve into Steelix, so that's what I will do next.
• Saved in the Vermilion Pokemon Center.

Completed Purple on Sapphire. I think I have a new-found love for Sableye after doing this challenge.

Purple Monocolor Challenge (Sapphire)
Update #1/Final Update

▸ Picked Mudkip.
▸ Avoided as many trainers as possible until I caught Skitty, nicknamed it "Kat". (lolcreativity)
▸ Realized it's hopeless to fight Roxanne unless I do some grinding.
▸ Also realized Kat won't evolve until I get the Moon Stone in Meteor Falls... :c
▸ FINALLY defeated Roxanne.
▸ Went and caught a Sableye from Granite Cave, nicknamed it "Yami".
▸ Also traveled to Route 110 and caught a Gulpin, nicknamed it "Jello".
▸ My team lol'd at Brawly.
▸ Trained the team some before Wattson.
▸ Defeated Wattson with a team effort.
▸ Proceeded to Fallarbor Town and Meteor Falls (finally). Got the Moon Stone and evolved Kat into a Delcatty.
▸ Went to Mt. Chimney.
▸ Jello evolved into a Swalot.
▸ Caught a Spoink in Jagged Pass, nicknamed it "Baundo".
▸ Defeated Flannery.
▸ Baundo evolved into a Grumpig while in the Petalburg Gym.

▸ Traveled to Fortree after getting Surf, defeated Team Agua and Brendan along the way.
▸ Went to Mt. Pyre, back to Slateport, etc.
▸ Defeated Tate & Liza.

▸ Went through Victory Road after reaching Ever Grande.
▸ Grinded my team to level 55 because I thought Steven would wreck me if I was any lower.
▸ Defeated the E4.
▸ The final battle with Steven was awesome. His last Pokemon was his Metagross, and it fought Kat. Kat's Sing hit, putting Metagross to sleep, and then I used the last three Thunderbolts I had left, one of which ended up being a crit, and then I used Assist, and it ended up being Confuse Ray. Metagross woke up, but it woke up confused. It KO'd Kat (she didn't have much HP left), and I sent out Yami. Metagross ended up hurting itself in it's confusion, KO'ing itself and giving me the win.
It could just be me, but I thought this was a really awesome finish to the battle and the challenge. I was afraid my team still wouldn't be able to pull it off at the levels I trained them to, but they pulled through.

• First I evolved Rocky and Muscle into Steelix and Machamp.
• The Kanto gyms weren't that hard, although I did delay fighting Sabrina until I had 6 Kanto badges.

Finished Kanto today!

• Breezed through with Snarxe until I reached Celadon, where I caught my second Snorlax after I got the Poké Flute. Named it Reizo, and EV trained him in Sp. Atk. In the process, I evolved Bulbasaur so I could take full advantage of the HMs he can learn.
• After going through all of Kanto, Snarxe and Reizo were both Lv. 65 (after one Rare Candy each) when I was about to enter the Pokémon League.
• Lorelei was easy, but her Jynx did put up some trouble since I insisted on using Reizo.
• Bruno was harder, and I actually lost to him once. Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Machamp never questioned using Fighting-moves (obviously), but I eventually brought them down.
• Agatha was easy. With Reizo having Immunity, I could just Psychic all the time and not have to worry about getting poisoned.
• Lance was also easy, his Dragonite could take hits very well but eventually fell to Snarxe.
• Champion Green was no match at all.

The Elite Four were quite simple considering I was pretty underleveled. The only Pokemon that gave me a problem was my rivals Alakazam.

Hilariously, everyone was about the same level heading into Victory Road and heading into Indigo Plateau, but by time I met up with my Rival, Servo and Ravage were 10-20 levels higher than the other two. It's hard to level them up evenly while fighting the Elite Four when all you care about is winning.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Gray).

I started my Hoenn leg of my Ultimate Gray Monocolor yesterday.

Update #1 on Sapphire.

Name: Gray
Starter: Treeko

• After getting the Pokedex, I quickly caught my first team member, Wolf the Poochyena.
• Reached Rustboro City and defeated Roxanne with Sand-Attack and Bite.
• Saved Peeko and sailed to Dewford Town, then delivered Steven's Letter.
• Went to Slateport and delivered the Devon Goods, training Wolf up to face Brawly.
• Wolf evolved into Mighyena!
• Went back to Dewford to fight Brawly, and actually won easily thanks to flinches from Bite.
• Beat May on my way to Mauville, and after beating all the trainers around, took on the gym there.
• Wattson took several tries because he kept Parafusing Wolf, but I eventually won thanks to Swagger and Bite.
• Went north through the Fiery Path to Fallarbor Town.
• Caught my second team member, Raptor the Skarmory.
• Had my first fight against Archie on Mt. Chimney and won, then hopped to Lavaridge Town.
• Flannery wasn't too hard, Wolf swept mostly with Howl+Strength, although he did have to flinch Torkoal once with Bite to avoid an Overheat.
• Saved in the desert.

Played some Crystal, I've beaten Clair and I'm heading towards the Pokémon League.

• Picked the female character (but I'm male in real life), named her Crystal. Picked Chikorita.
• After battling a bit with Chikorita, I caught my first team member: Zohl the Unown. I wanted HP Electric or Ice (because I forgot about Sneasel), and Ice was the first one I encountered of the two.
• Zohl easily got through Sprout Tower, Falkner, Union Cave and Bugsy. Whitney was also easy, but her Pokémon took some more hits.
• Got my second team member, Midnight the Eevee in Goldenrod after talking to Bill in Ecruteak. Taught it Mud-Slap, which helped against Morty.
• After beating Chuck, I did all I could to evolve Eevee into Umbreon since I thought it was time. It took a while and it evolved quite late, around Lv 40 I believe.
• Jasmine and Pryce were quite easy to beat. I actually lost against Jasmine once, so I decided to take on Pryce before her (when Midnight was still an Eevee; after it had evolved, I beat Jasmine without any major problems).
• In the Ice Cave, I caught my third team member, Devlin the Sneasel.
• Devlin got some training done before taking on the Goldenrod Tower with all the Rockets. After that, Clair was up next, who was quite easy, but she required the whole team's effort.

In Crystal, I've beaten Red. I've also finished Ruby, but that'll be in another post.

• Went to the Pokémon League, which was semi-hard. Bruno and Lance were the worst ones.
• After travelling with the S.S. Aqua to Vermilion City, I caught my final team member, Deathflare the Houndour. After training her up a bit (and evolving her), I started conquering all of the Kanto gyms.
• I trained everyone up to Lv 66 for Red, and I beat him despite him being quite difficult.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Gray).

Final Update (#2) on Sapphire.

• Made my way to Petalburg, where I beat Norman easily with Raptor.
• Got Surf, and caught Tri-Bolt the Magnemite in New Mauville.
• Trained it on the water routes, where it evolved into Magneton!
• I then headed to Fortree City, beating May on the way.
• Taught Fly to Raptor, then took on Winona. Tri-Bolt was able to confuse Altaria and complete the sweep.
• Beat May again in Lilycove City and climbed Mt. Pyre to get the Red Orb.
• Cleared out the Aqua Hideout and Surfed to Mossdeep City.
• Went inside the Shoal Cave and caught a Snorunt, then beat Tate and Liza.
• With Dive in hand, I caught a Relicanth on the ocean floor, then took care of Archie with him.
• Renamed Snorunt to Ice Ball and Relicanth to Aquarock, then took on Wallace in Sootopolis after killing Kyogre. He was easy pickings for Tri-Bolt.
• On my way to Victory Road, Ice Ball evolved into Glalie!
• Fought my way through Victory Road, beating Wally at the end.
• Got everyone to L54 with the help of my 32 Rare Candies (thanks, Pickup!), and it was time for the Elite Four.
• Sidney was soloed by Ice Ball (Blizzard, Ice Beam, Hidden Power Electric).
• Pheobe was soloed by Wolf (Howl + Shadow Ball).
• Glacia was soloed by Tri-Bolt (Rain Dance + Thunder).
• Drake took a team effort, although Ice Ball finished off Salamance and Altaria with Ice Beam.
