MONOTYPE TOURNEY
Sup all! I figured this kind of thing could be fun, plus there was interest on the server, too :) Keep in mind that this is a PC BATTLE SERVER tourney.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You post to pick a type - once you've posted, you've claimed it, anyone who posts after you has to claim another type, so first in best dressed. You may have ONE wild card. This means a Pokemon that does not contain your typing can be used in your team (but it cannot change between every battle, unlike the Pokemon in your team). Pokemon can be dual-typed, as long as they have part of that type, such as Grass/Ice is okay for both a Grass and an Ice mono-type.
It's round-robin, in that you battle everyone once. You report every win/loss in this thread, and the 9 people with the most losses are kicked out. This continues for the next round - the 5 with the most losses are kicked out, and the other 4 progress to the semi-finals. In the semi-Finals, everyone plays their opponent three times (so 9 matches in total).
The two with the most wins move onto the Final where they play each other three times to decide the champion.
Round 1:
You face everyone once (16 people).
Round 2:
If you make it to this round, you face everyone once (8 people).
Round 3:
If you make it to this round, you face everyone three times (9 matches, 3 people).
Round 4:
If you make it to this round, you face your last opponent three times (three matches, 1 person).
Report your wins/losses like the following:
And so on like that, while for semi-finals, report like this:
The tournament will begin on January 1st, 2013, to kick off the new year. You can sign-up and prepare your teams until then.
RULES
1. You can have one wild card, as explained above, but that cannot be changed before any of your matches, unlike everything else on your team, so pick carefully.
2. Please don't scout other teams on purpose, as you can change teams before matches and that could give you an advantage.
3. All Events & Groups rules and clauses apply as found here.
4. It's round-robin, meaning that you play everyone at least once in the first two rounds.
5. No rematches will be given, unless the opponent disconnects, which is when you two need to recreate the battle up to the point before the opponent disconnected.
6. The Pokemon you can use can be in any tier up to OverUsed (no Ubers), so go crazy!

Just post the typing you'd like and if it isn't taken you get added there.
1. Mid - Dragon
2. Ozzy - Flying
3. Woohoo - Water
4. Cid - Ground
5. Hyperbeem - Grass
6. Golurk - Steel
7. Lapras - Ghost
8. Pave - Poison
