Basically, what is your ideal setup, something you hope to get to or already have? For some people its a laptop and a phone, others its a desktop, and so on. Also what OS would be on those devices and why?

I'll be building a new pc this fall - if the current gpu market manages to bounce back, otherwise I think I'd rather deal with what I have rather than pay almost $2k in some instances for a top dog graphics card - since my current computer was considered mid range about... 6 or 7 years ago now. I've already got a laptop and a primary monitor, so I'm hoping to just get a new desk, another monitor or two, and probably a mounted arm to keep my laptop on, just in case I need it. I'm also considering making the move to linux, since I can just run a vm of windows/apple if needed and I'm leaning more towards not gaming as much and possibly getting back into music production once I can save up enough money to buy some instruments. Some of the more user friendly DAWs I've been looking at are actually locked to Apple, but I've always used windows so that might be another point for turning to linux tbh.

A desktop for comfort, laptop for convenience. All must be on Windows 10 Pro as well.

    Pretty simple, huh?

I'm pretty close to my ideal setup, besides having a larger desk so everything isn't super cramped. Otherwise, I'm content with my 2 displays and office chair for my desktop, my nice big 17 inch display for my working laptop, and everything that's important syncing between the two (In this case using OneDrive for some coding projects). Then with my phone, as long as it works I'm happy - running Android, and I have wireless chargers available near my desk to charge it when it's not in use.

i'd have a long and wide boi desk, L shaped to boot. triple 144hz 1440p monitors, all floating and cable managed to perfection. a full size fully hotswappable mechanical keyboard (realized recently how useful the numpad is to me lol) with lubed Kailh Box Whites. Pwnage Ultra Custom Symmetrical Wireless gaming mouse with a 450x400mm plain black mouse mat, probably from Steelseries or HyperX or whatever. Logitech BRIO webcam. Audio Technica AT2020+ USB condenser mic to the side, pop filtered and shockmounted with a heavy duty mic arm.

to my right will be a water-cooled Ryzen 9 5900x/RTX 3080/64GB RAM system with a full tower mesh case and looots of SSD storage (Windows 10 & Linux dual boot btw). once again, cable managed to absolute perfection. crud load of fans. just a few lights though because i can't bear to have my system look like rainbow barf. with the space i have left on my table, i'll have some high end, lightweight, 14 inch, long battery life laptop (probably from Lenovo or Dell or whatever, and it'll also be dual boot) for portability. it'll have its own wireless gaming mouse too. most likely something more affordable, like the G304 wireless.

chair will be a Herman Miller, either an Embody or an Aeron. headphones will be a pair of black Sennheiser HD 598s. and since i'm going headphones, the room needs to be air conditioned. windless if possible. a cool 15-17c is ideal for me. it means i'd be able to wear hoodies, sweaters, sweatpants, and socks. i like the style of those, so i'd be happy to.

lastly, i guess my phone will be some OnePlus flagship or whatever lol. something with 8GB RAM, and 128GB+ storage is overkill enough for someone like me, who just uses phones for browsing and communication. i will definitely just get it as a status symbol at that point.
