MSN Glitches?

I've noticed that with my friends and my boyfriend...two glitches.

One glitch is when I talk to my boyfriend I sometimes get that, "message could not be delivered to recipient" and my friends have gotten the same with me too.

The second is that for my friend Dreams, I'm showing up as offline but for everyone else I'm online and my boyfriend is having the same problem with another friend of ours...

Is anyone else having this problem?

yes I too suffer this strange glitch, it's quite bothersome when talking about things that are important

strangely enough, the only glitch that I ever get is the one where I get knocked off for like 2 minutes, then I'm right back up. (I always thought it was just an Adium glitch)

I've had the same problems, and very often at that. I have to copy and paste everything I write in the situation that it doesn't send. >>''

Also, it's been happening mainly in group conversations. Were it says we are no longer connected and oddly disconnects us. Happened last night with Audy, Signomi, and I. I didn't really know about the offline/online problem however. o.o

I only get the "message could not be delivered to recipient" when I'm talking to people using YIM strangely enough. Though I do seem to get informed a lot that people are continously logging in and out when they're not. D:

I believe many of these aforementioned 'glitches' to simply be connection errors, possibly due to MSN's high traffic and the inconsistency of the wireless connections that most of us have.

I've been having the same problem, some people have been showing up as offline, even when they aren't actually offline. o___O;

There is a status setting called "appear offline", but if they've said that their status isn't set to that, they're either lying, or that's quite a curious situation there, but nonetheless likely a connection error in the case of the latter.

I've been getting a "could not deliver" message for months now, and I'm using Adium.

Must be a problem with MSN's servers.

definately. i rarely get the "message could not be delivered" part, but its most common that people show up as offline when they are actually online. its a mystery.

The MSN Messenger (Has anyone actually started calling it Windows Live Messenger yet?! :) ) servers are always having problems!

I call it WLM!

I've had no problems at all with WLM of late.

Perhaps UK servers aren't affected?

They are, though it seems less likely for UK residents to come across the errors.
