My backlog, it's growing!

Oh jeez, I have countless games in my "backlog." They range from classic games I've yet to play, to games I left incomplete for some reason, games I bought but never played (which includes countless Steam games AND physical games!!), and the list goes on. I feel silly to say that it stresses me out that I have such a huge backlog... #3rdworldprobs, right?

Wow its like I don't even know anymore, there are so many and I don't know why I bothered playing it the first place, but I am currently still playing some, but probably won't ever finish.

-Borderlands 2
-Pokemon Y
-The entire Legend of Zelda series
-Resident evil 1/2/3
-Batman: Arkham City
and tonnes more.
 
I currently have twenty-three games I want to play through. This doesn't count the random games that I have buried in another room in a box, like the Over the Hedge tie-in video games for the DS.

I just like listing them out so that I can cross them off when I finish them and have a sense of accomplishment.
 
Off the top of my head, my backlog isn't too bad, compared to some others here. The only games that I can think of that I haven't finished after starting, or haven't even touched yet (but still want to get through at some point), are:

Pokemon Y
Red Dead Redemption
Mass Effect 3
EA Sports SSX
WWE 2K14
FIFA Street

The latter 3 are for the single player modes of the game rather than the free play/online aspects of it, but figured I'd include them anyway. I know there are 2 or 3 more games I haven't listed, but I don't have much desire to finish any of them.
 
Well I got steam, and those of you that have steam know the dilemma of a lot of sales and buying really cheap games. Got a whole buncha games I've bought and never really played. XD
 
I promised myself I would buy a new game till my backlog is gone. Considering a good chunk of my backlog are RPGs it could take some time.

Well decided to beat the backlog a few days ago. I have FF 12,Kh 1 and KH 2,Last Story,Skyward Sword and P4 to name a few to beat
 
Ughh so many like almost a hundred I think hahahha xD

Main reasons are the lack of money to buy the games and the consoles and my computer can't really run some of the newer games these days. :/

Errm, this isn't a wish list topic.

A backlog is a list of unplayed/unbeaten games that you already own/have.

While a wish list is a list of unplayed games you don't own/have.
 
I think for the first time in my life, I have finally developed a bit of a backlog. I have all these games I wanna play, but so little time....

-Pokemon Y (since Bank is now out)
-Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon
-Disgaea D2 (all that grinding....)
-Fire Emblem Awakening (I have beaten it, but there's stil things I'd like to do)
-my monotype run on Platinum
-then wanna start another monotype run on my Black 2
-and I gotta play Starcraft II to practice for the upcoming tournament
