I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the Mentally Advanced series. There's just something about the voice acting which I really don't like. All the voices sound the same with a slightly different tinge of accent to them all.

One person can only do so much to his voice to make things different... It WOULD be nice if he could get more voice actors on his project, but I'm fine with just him until then. xD

I admit, that was one of the biggest turn-offs for me, but the humour was excellent enough to keep me entertained.

What I can gather from the Mentally Advanced Series canon so far:

Twilight is even more sarcastic and pessimistic. Also gets bullied by Celestia.
Applejack's family is uh... they like to keep it in the family.
Rarity is the town... Well, let's just say she's a bit more promiscuous than in the show.
Rainbow Dash is an idiot.
Pinkie Pie is a psychopathic, genius, Machiavellian, Marxist.
Fluttershy is Fluttershy.
Spike is Scottish/Irish.
Twilight once had a stuffed, toy bumblebee by the name of Mrs. Buzzy which Celestia took and stuffed with slice bread.
Unicorn Ponies see themselves as the master race.
Snips and Snails are germans who are proponents of the master race thing.

I've seen the Mentally Advanced Series, and honestly the only funny character is Pinkie because of the accent the guy uses for her.

There are a few other "abridged" series out there on the Internet, but I haven't seen many others.

If you could take any character from a video game/anime/real life etc. and make them into a Pony, describe them. What type of pony would they be? What would it's name be?

That's an interesting question. I'll pick something random, like Kirby! :D

Or maybe it's not so random, because he is from that franchise I particularly liked for some reason. Anyway, Kirby! He'd probably be a pink earth / pegasus pony with a blank flank or a Warpstar as his Cutie Mark. He'll still be able to huff in air to float, turn objects he inhales into a star projectile, and inhale ponies and creatures to get their characteristics. When he does that, his Cutie Mark changes accordingly, while also gaining a unicorn horn / wings (if he wasn't a pegasus already). Yeah, not much changed, except that the idea kinda reminds me of Cupcakes. Nooo not Cupcakes.

This is a toughie. Let's go with The World Ends With Ponies. The universe needs more of both. Neku would be a unicorn. Purple, with a bright orange mane, keeping the headphones. Cutie Mark before the events of the game would be a little icon representing himself with something like silhouettes of others all around the edge. It looks nice in my head, but I can't explain it. Afterward, it's the 4 interlinked stars that appear on the team-attack pin in the last battle. Maybe he keeps his yellow wristband.

I also imagine Shiki and Beat would be earth ponies or pegasi, one of each, and Josh would be a unicorn. Mr. H would appear as an earth pony normally. Sho would need to be a pegasus. I want to go draw Noise ponies now. Wish I could draw. :P

Gah, I would choose Ponyshock. Just seeing a pony in a BA diving suit walking around with a giant drill would be ~SO AWESOME~. And Little Sisters would be clones of Apple Bloom o3o

If not, then it would be Left 4 Pony. Tons of zombie ponies surrounding 4 survivor ponies as they fight for survival, with 8 types of Special Zombie ponies? Yes please.
