*drops dead*
You're so good at poetry! Now I'm jealous...*sniff* I should practice ryming...
OH Ha! beat this!
There was an old fisherman that sang.
Through the wide lake his rusty voice rang.
He sang to lure the fish.
He planned to make a dish.
He caught a fish so big he sprang.

Ha! *looks at DT's poems* I think I'll stick to non-ryming stuff XD

hmmm...ohhh, I think DT has a girlfriend!;b JK Do you ever write anything that dosn't ryme? Just curious, some people specailize in ryming but some people like to write both. And some people *coughMeCough*, like I said before, can't ryme for beans^^
 
Wow, those are really good! ^_^ I didn't know that you were interested in poetry. I think I like your last one best. I really don't see how you do it... I'm with Teara, I can't rhyme worth a flip. o_o; (Though she's most likely better than me.) Great job! I can't wait to see more.

Sometimes, the most unlikly of people are really creative. Take for example my dog, she looks kinda deadbrained (is that a word?), but when she rolls around in the grass she makes patterns that sometimes (okay once, but whatever), look like angles! ;D
 
So, I'm uncreative?:P

Lol, BTW, no girlfriend for me in a long time, those are just for that one special person

No, you are creative, I was just leting everyone know that my dog is a genius^_-

I just broke up with my BF...grrr...

Rymes make me frustraited, I just write whatever comes to mind...of course only one person responded to my poems so I might have to try ryming next time.^___^
 
Well, this poem is really deep, my best one yet:

Goodbye my Love
Parting is such sweet sorrow, or so the saying goes
But nothing will destroy all my pain and woe
This misery is so great and unbelievable
It's just hardly believable

You said we would always be together
Never to be ripped apart
But I guess now the only ripped thing is my heart
I cannot withstand this torment much longer
But I know this misery will make me stronger

Alas, our last few moments
I fear I cannot withstand any more
You beautiful face
Covered in tears
Drags down all of my deepest fears
Our final goodbye
But why must we break down and cry?


Please my love, wipe your tears
You are so near
For as long as I can
I will stand by your side
Holding you in my arms
Keeping our love forever

Nice poetry DT it seems that you thought of it nicely.

You know, there is alot of Poetry in Other fan-fiction and Roleplay, maybe I could request for a subforum that has a section for poetry.

The real me
You see me just as a friend
Someone you can always talk to
But you never know how I truly feel about you
I have never shown it
Always afraid of what others think
But to tell you the truth
I don't care anymore

I know I don't truly have a crush
But I have finally revealed
How I feel about you
These feelings are true
So please don't hate me
For all I have said
Truth is
I really like you

The Way You See Me
Why do you look at me so differently?
I'm just the same as everyone else, you see
But when I do stop and think about it
I know I'm not your average Joe
I'm unique, different
One of a kind
Although you may be blind
As to who I am

I'm not like all the others
There's more to me
Than what you see
So much more than meets the eye
Maybe if you just tried to know who I am
Before I am condemned
To be just another person to you
