Don't have any shinies actually.But already caught a red gyarados and a golden pidgey in silver version, and a shiny sandshrew in ruby, and a shny nidoranF in leafgreen!

why dont you transfer Sandshrew and Nidoran over to D/P?
 
maybe he does not have his national dex yet.
 
I haven't seen any shinnies in this generation, but I got a shiny Bellsprout in Leafgreen. I spent hours trying to get a shiny Gastly in the Old Chateau, but i gave up out of frustration.
 
ok...so time to show off a little.
these are my shinies, I've caught about 30 myself since the release of
ruby and sapphire and everytime I start a new game I always transfered
them to one of the other versions.

most though I've obtained from trades in DP (1500+ link trades)
I'm sure some of them must be hacked but I always check
all of them were caught in the right places and none of them
came with any illegal moves so I can't prove that they're hacked
so I'll just assume they're not.

as you can see all of them are 1st evolution pokemon.
I'm hoping to get at least one of every evolutionary line (1st evo's only)
just 'cuz I can really, it's a challenge to myself on account that I've
already filled the pokedex (excluding darkrai, arceus, shamin) simply
because I trade and breed so much.

Calm is a fairly good nature for Masqeurain

I just found out that Shiny Patches can break your chain XD but I am in battle with my second shiny Surskkit this one is female too

They are both female and both Calm but I swear on my life they are btoh legit!

edit:my chian broke for no reason it just after a battle the number was gone and the music was back to normol why? why now it was 25!!! ehehx_x

I caught a shiny regigigas
traded my kyogre for shiny golduck and machop
won a shiny mew and charmander at a giveaway
traded my ekans and seviper for a shiny wingull
got a shiny shaymin in a trade for free
and traded my Ho-oh for a shiny mewtwo.
 
YESSS! i got a shiny Mr. MIME! (takes me a while to even get one shiny T_T)
so now i have 2 shinies, gyarados, a mr.mime
 
i got a shiney arceus ( nintendo event ) and a shiny rayquasia and a lot more i dont know

I just got a shiny elekid in a trade I am EV training it in HP by chaining Bidoof....better get a shiny >.>
 
I only have one Shiny in my Diamond. And it is a Shiny Bidoof which is one of my Favorite Pokemon now.

I have seen it when i New Gamed my Diamond. Then in the grass i'm training my Chimchar. Then 5 Minutes later, I have seen a different colored Bidoof. Then it sparkles! it was a Shiny Bidoof. Then i catched it. :D
 
ive played pokemon so so so much in my life and ive only seen about 4 shinys

red gyarados (as everyone has)
my diglett in leaf green
whismur in that cave in sapphire..

actually that's 3..

i never go into the grass though really.. not for training.. only ev training
