name of choice

I really like my name, it's a name you don't hear very often in my country. It would be annoying to be constantly surrounded by other people having the same name, I'm glad I don't have that problem. I do dislike the way my name is pronounced in English. It is well possible to pronounce it in English, but I don't like the accent on it. I don't know why, maybe because it feels different somehow when the stress is placed on another syllable.

Tyler, can be shortened to Ty if I want a snappy one-syllable first name to go with my one-syllable last name.

Tyler Durden (as mentioned above)
Steven Tyler
Liv Tyler
President John Tyler (other names of awesomeness [Lincoln, Jackson, Madison, Harrison, Pierce, Kennedy, Grant, Carter])

Not so cray for:
Tyler Perry

I love my name, and I wouldn't ever want to change it. It seems that my name is one that gets around too, because I remember back in high school whenever my teachers met up with one another, and they say "Zach" and it just automatically links back to me. Same with my friends, saying Zach and everyone thinks of me automatically.

I hated my first name growing up. Not too sure why. I guess I just didn't like the way it sounded plus it's biblical and that's kinda boring to me. I considered going by my middle name but never did. Nowadays, I can tolerate my first and hate my middle, haha. Time seems to have changed my taste a little, plus a lot of people pronounce my name as "Leia" instead of "Leah" and I like the way that sounds.

Going through with an actual name change sounds like too much of a hassle to me and I'm not too sure what I'd go with if I did.

I personally like my first name, though I haven't always been so fond of my last name. Nothing necessarily wrong with it, but there are some that interest me more than it that I would take if it weren't for me trying to honor my family. Maybe if I get married I might take the last name of my wife. Sort of switch things up a bit.
