I jumped down from the tree i hid in, no matter how much i held it in, i still felt sad for...this.. mostracity occuring, to our fair land? I was shoked at all of this, "Bunshin no Jutsu!", Kinora sent out 2 clones to inspect this area. Hoping to find more clues, and of course, he instructed his clones to: "STAY AWAY FROM OTHER PEOPLE, AND NOT TO BE SEEN NO MATTER WHAT!"

A few minutes passed, the clones hae been out of sight for a while, he was wondering what had been taken them so long, it wasn't like this area was really big or anything. Quickly realizing he was still easily visibale, standing at the abse of the tree, Kinora jumed back up to his limb, adn ripped off the piece of ark that kept making the noise whenever he had moved.
"Stupid tree"

Sakura was next to Tora and Nina. She had not bothered to read the scroll totally, and was waiting and relying on Tora to inform her, being the lazy but smart lass of the lot. She waved slightly to Nina before speaking to Tora.

"Anything bad happened?" Sakura asked in her sweet, melodious tone, but abruptly paused when she noted Tora's face.
"It must be bad, but there's always something nice hidden beneath the horrible news..."
She reassured him as she bounced away to take a look at the scroll.

***
Sakura glanced at Tora and Nina, and then at the others. She was devastated alright, but she was definitely going to find out the good part about this. Strolling cautiously over to Nina and Tora again, she reminisced about the scroll's content...Weapons, hidden in the forest. Stick in a group... Sakura thought all this seemed fun and exciting, but even the adventurous little shinobi could not help but felt a little doleful. This was going to be dangerous alright, but if they stick together, everything might turn out just fine, like what the Hokage hoped!

"So... Are we going to search for the weapons?" She questioned to apparently nobody in particular, but she was facing Nina and Tora, so she half-expected them to reply to her query. "Or..."

Sakura stopped while gazing at petals swishing elegantly in the far distance. Those were certainly beautiful sakura petals there, floating with freedom and such carefreeness despite the terrible war. It was then the part hit her. If the flowers can survive and strive through such harsh environment and atmosphere, so can they.

"Well, I think I am up to it." She announced all of a sudden. "This is for Raiken."

Huggle Bunny, here's the deal. I like your sign-up, but it's too short, so you're pending. also, you really shouldn't capitalize every single word you type, it could get annoying.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"Supreme Hokage, gone..." thought Tora, still on the tree stump. "What on earth will we do now? All our Jonin and Chunin were killed, and on top of that, Supreme Hokage's gone, too."

He looked at Nina and Sakura, who had both walked over to him. He didn't tell them anything, but merely looked at them for a couple of seconds. He then shifted his attention to Sia and Chihiro, who were some 5 feet away. Tora then looked back at the ground.

"On the other hand, Supreme Hokage believes we can save Raiken, even if the odds are against us," thought Tora. "Maybe he's right, we could do it!"

Tora then got up, and walked over to Sia and Chihiro. He walked over to Chihiro, and read the scroll to her. He didn't nkow she was blind, but he assumed she was because she had those bandages over her eyes. he did not want to see insensitive, so he read the scroll clearly so that she could hear, too. After he recited the scroll, he turned to Sakura.

"I agree with Sakura," said Tora. "This IS for Raiken. Even though the odds aren't in our favor, Supreme Hokage believes in us, and i think we owe it to him to believe in ourselves, too. After all, it was his dying words...."

Sakura nodded, relieved to have some support.

"What do you all think about this?" Sakura asked Sia, Nina and Chihiro. "Tora and I are definitely in."

It was then she realised that there were almost no male in the Academy now. Tora was the only boy there. The rest were all female ninjas.

"Well, let's make this fruitful, everybody..." She announced cheerfully. "We can avenge Raiken! And at the same time, our status, which I meant as our Genin ranks, will rise! We can sort of promote ourselves, get it?" Sakura giggled cutely.

She gave a quick glance at Nina, and returned her attention back to Tora, Sia and Chihiro. "Let's not think of the pessimistic side. If we are filled with forlorn and melancholy, we will never be able to accomplish anything!" Sakura advised slowly.

Humm....can I be two characters? With the other being a Kumai Shinobi? 8D

Nina looked at Sakura in surprise. "Of course I'm coming! What else could we do? Try to defeat the Kumai on our own?" She rolled her eyes and grinned. "Oh, That would turn out nicely. A really good idea, that is." She replied sarcasticly. "I'm so in." She smiled at everyone, even Tora. "Besides," She mumbled under her breath, "I coulden't stand being alone out there..."

Her attention was brought back to the rubble as she picked up a small peice of stone from the rubble. It was a small peice of Yuu's gravestone, with the letter Y on it. She kissed it and put it in her pocket. "For good luck." She whispered to herself. When she saw people staring, she just smiled. "I'm ready! What about everyone else?"

I was silent, feeling the rose petals fly off until the rose was just one sad, lone little stem. I picked them up and decided I'd come back later to put more- one's that wouldn't fly off in the wind. I kept the stems, and replaced the petals with artificial ones- from Chakra. Everyone was discussing whether they were going or not. I slowly slid back, silently, and mostly unnoticably. I didn't want to. And I, did not have any issue's with being alone out here. My thumb pressed against a thorn harder, and I was brought back to reality. The trip to my village would take days. And there was little to no food in the village that wasn't burnt to a crisp. But, what difference would it make? Starving with other people to share found food with, or starving by yourself? I weighed the odds, the pros, the cons. It made my head hurt, for the first time in a long time, what was worth going home for, and what was worth fighting Kumai for.

I uttered the first word I'd spoken since we'd arrived: "No."

I wanted to add, 'Why should we fight, when there are so many other village's, possibly undestroyed, that could fight too?', 'Why are we the only hope? Surely my entire clan hasn't been slaughtered- considering they live in an entirely different village?', and, 'Why were these people trying to be happy and funny?'. Especially Sakura and Nina. I was getting bugged out, and I wasn't about to spend anymore time with them then I needed. The sarcasm wasn't funny, the optimism wasn't helping, and I turned around, knowing which way, was away. I didn't want to be a hero. I didn't want to risk my life. It wasn't that I was afraid, it was that I didn't want to fight Kumai. I didn't want to be around to see it happen.

okay, if you all don't mind, i'm going to start posting in first-person now. i feel it's easier for me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I looked over at Sia. She seemed to be growing tired of being here, around the devastation and hopelessness. I could feel that aura emanating from her as though she was telling me this herself.
"You can't be serious," I said. "You would actually consider turning your back on Raiken and Supreme Hokage? He said to stick together, and you are trying to split up from the group."
My temper was starting to rise, but I didn't care. I began to think of everything-how the academy and the village used to be, how peaceful Raiken was before Kumai came along, and even how horrible Supreme Hokage's last moments may have been. Sia was basically turning her back on all of this, as though she didn't care.
"Look, this isn't about being a hero, it's about trying to get those Kumai fools out of Raiken and restoring peace," I said. "I can understand you not wanting to die, but it seems as though you don't even care what's happening."
I re-rolled the scroll back up and tied it to the side of my shorts. I gave Sia a mildly disgusted look, then turned my back away from her.
"But if you don't want to stand with then don't," i said. "Go back to what's left of the life you once had, as though nothing has happened. Turn your back on Raiken, see if i care. But i know one thing. I'm not turning my back. I'm not sitting here while Kumai destroys my home-our home. I'm standing up on behalf of Raiken and Supreme Hokage and I'm going to fight. If you think saving Raiken is beneath you, then leave."
I turned back aronud to look at Sia. My anger was ebbing away, but now a small twinge of regret was settling in. I didn't want to be too insensitive to her feelings, as this was sure to push her away even more. We were supposed to be sticking together, and I felt that I just made the unfortunate mistake of increasing the chance of us splitting up.
Upon hearing what Sia may do, i got quickly filled with rage, especially since my Bunshins STILL haven't returned. I am not the kind to get angry so I wasn't sure what to do, and next thing i realised, my hands darted togther, rapidly pulled off hand seals: Ox, Tiger, Boar then i whispured "Desert Kunai!" and quickly 2 kunais made of sand quickly flung towards Sia, 1 scimmed her shoe, the other one barely missed Tora's cheek. "Oh crap! What have i done?" I quickly ran out of there, trying not to be too oblivious. I hit beneath a bush to make sure i was properly concealed.
I have been doing too much running today. I started to pant a bit without realizing, "Man, how can i be fatigued already? I'm used to running, bah". I quickly observed the area. Then suddenly right infront of me, in the open of the forest, was a Kumai soldier. By the looks of it, he was only a genin. Still, i didn't want to be discovered by any kumai soldiers. Genin or not, adn for all i knew, i could be in an illusioin right now, adn that could really be a Jounin. "rats". I quickly made a bunshin, made it obvious that i was trying to run away, thankfully he fell for it. I still stayed in my position, in case there is another person here.
I ignored the kunai momentarily. It hadn't made much damage, and I didn't sense anymore coming. I hadn't even tried to dodge it. I slowly, slowly rolled my neck around to face Tora over my shoulder, behind my forehead protector, my eye's glowing a blood red. Of course, even if he was looking straight into my eyes, the Ishigyoushi's only original dotjutsu wouldn't have affected him- thanks to my forehead protector. But nonetheless, I was still incredibly displeased with him. Perhaps he wasn't too perceptive. I leaned over and picked up the kunai, with my hand wrapped in my sleeve. I never made good decision's in my life. My answer of 'No' was simply because there was something about the entire thing that made me cringe. The weapon's, the training from someone who was dead, the independence.
I tossed the kunai aside, actually flung it more like. I wasn't interested in hitting a target. I was only interested in shifting my dotjutsu. I tugged at my forehead protector and pulled it off, spinning around one last time with bright green eyes- my village, a few uncountable miles away. I saw it bright as day, miraculously untouched by Kumai. I would stay home- train at home.
Tora was disgusted with me? I was disgusted with him. What could I learn from weapons? Trials? Nothing. What were the odds of running into a bilion shinobi who knew all different dotjutsu. No, I needed to collect dotjutsu from home. Perhaps I'd help out another time, but now...I needed to do something different from everyone. I wanted to do something different. And, I needed to see a home that wasn't littered with burnt flower petals.
Sakura giggled at Nina's response and placed both hands on her hips. "No, we should totally just go in and bash them up!" She answered cheerfully.
Just thinking that Sia will let the whole thing go as if it had not happened was enough to boil anybody, but Sakura was determined to persuade Sia. She told Tora to calm down and relax before strolling over to Sia.
"Sia, is it me or are you going to do something totally diverse from our actions now?" She questioned slowly in her sweet, melodious tone. "Or..." Sakura's tone trailed off when she noticed that the kunais almost hit Tora instead of Sia.
"What do you think you are doing?!" Sakura hollered in a fit of fury at the young genin who produced the sand kunais. "You could have hit her directly and she might have been injured severly!"
Sakura could not believe it, even she was getting irritated at the slightest actions. Her pale cerulean eyes flashed with pique as another strong gust of wind blew by, caressing first her lovely face, and then her beautiful, thigh-length pale pink hair.
"But anyway, that is unlikely to happen..." Sakura grinned in a cute and happy-go-lucky way, thinking of her foolishness and sweatdropping sheepishly. "Given Sia's sharpness, I don't think she cared much about that kunai. And," she put on a cheerful and optimistic grin before continuing, "let's not be irate so easily. What Sia decides to do is her ultimate, own problem. If we don't stay as bright as my attitude now, we might just get beaten down even before we start!"
Oh, BTW Bijou, i forgot to answer your request. you can be a Kumai Shinobi. just post his sign up
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Fine," I said. Looking over at Sia, i could she she was just as displeased with me as I was with her. "Look, Sia, if you want to train at home, then far be it from me to stop you. It is your decision to do what you want, and it seems as though you've made up your mind. I'm sorry for jumping down your throat earlier, this situation is taking it's toll on me as well."

I inclined my head towards Sia in modesty, and then looked at the sand kunai that almost hit me. I picked it up and looked at it carefully.

"It seems to be made of hardened sand," i thought, lokoing at the kunai. "Well, I doubt there is reason to fear whoever did this. If they wanted to hit any of us they would have done so. I wish whoever it was would come out of their little hiding spot, so they could possibly aid us in our mission."

I threw the kunai carelessly in a nearby bush. I un-rolled the scroll and looked at it.

"Well, everyone," I said. "It's about time we begin this mission. Our first priority is finding those weapons. 'The opposite a cloud's home beneath a circle of young mountains'.....what do you suppose this means? Supreme Hokage said they are in a nearby forest.....it must be the forest directly behind us, I would assume, so i suggest we start looking."

I walked over to an entrance in the forest. Resting my back against a tree, I looked over at the others, waiting on them to follow.

meh....

Name:Zanketa Rioku N.(Nikon)
Age:15
Village:Infanite Flame Village
Fighting Style:Fist of the Pyro God(taijutsu is the physical one,right?)
appearence:bright red shoulder-length straight hair,bright emerald green eyes,and wears a bandana over one of his eyes like kakashi.the two ends of the bandana reach down to the middle of his back and is black.it also has a metal plating showing his villages' symbol.he wears black wooden sandals,black and red cargo pants with chains.he also wears a black and red vest that has no sleeves,and has a big reddish-black chain around his body.Around his wrists are chakra-controlling chains.
Personality:Rioku is a nonchalant,carefree,non caring fighter....he has lots of focus,and has to maintain it,which is hard to do since he has fire in him...but if he is to lose control,the results would be devastating.he is never usually in the role of the leader,but never apart of a team either....he only takes part as a leader when the true leader messes up and/or cannot do what's needed to do.But the thing that makes him him,is the fact that he is a total perv...he is a completly diffrent person when around girls and can't pay attention at all...but when the tie comes,he is the most serious guy ever.
History:his true origins are almost completley unknown,but came to the Infinate fire village two weeks after a distant village was reported totally annhilated.he claims to remember running into a village,full of killer shinobi,and seeing a giant meteor out of no where.but aside from that,he is a martial artist with ninjitsu in his mind.even though he is only so young,he has traveled most of the world,learning techniques to add into his own style..his father was a famous war general who died protecting a famous dynasty,and as a result,the mother was sold as a prostitute,and was never seen again.his bloodline is that of an ancient race of warriors with pyro-kinesis.Rioku cares little to none about the regions and the ways of the ninja,and even hates them a little for their dis-honerable ways.
Strength/Weaknesses:Rioku is the best when it comes to stragety and warfare,but the only downside to him is that he has a soft heart...meaning that he WILL hesitate to take the life of another...
Special Skills:Rioku's body is hosted by pure fire element,which allows him to make his body warm up or cool down(only back to 98.6)and can disperse into flames at will...along with that,he is also most likley the only one in the worl to have signed a contract with an angel and a demi-devil.this allows him to summon an angel or a demi-devil and have them posses his body,but not fully....so all that happends is that certain attributes of rioku's is enhanced and/or weakened and have some of the angel/demi-devil's qualities(like rudeness,or kindness,ability to kill,or heal,stuff like that.)

so is that good?...

I stared boredly at Sakura, thinking that if we wanted to get anything done, we'd have to have an attitude far from her's. Realistic thinking- not optimistic thinking and half-hearted joking around was what was needed. And my realistic thinking told me that I wasn't going to learn anything with them. I blinked and replaced my forehead protector, tightening it around my head and turning- disappearing as I raced off- in the opposite direction of home. I wasn't going back just yet, because I needed to find my Great Uncle's Dotjutsu books. He usually hid them in the bank, and the safe could only be opened by one of the dotjutsu I'd just stolen from him. I felt like he'd just died all over again- leaving everyone instead of following along. I leaped from rooftop to bent lampost, to whatever I could land on for a split second.

The bank was still standing, though, on it's last columns. I slipped in and touched my index finger in the very middle of the safe's seal. Behind my forehead protector I strained to find the remaining chakra to preform this dotjutsu. I felt like it would never take effect, and I felt like the entire building would cave in if I merely sneezed. Of course, this made me want to sneeze, but I restrained from the temptation, and moved my forehead protector up onto my forehead. The seal disappeared and the door swung carelessly open. I snatched the miniature book, feeling like a theif, and left one of my last roses inside.

And then I headed for a place you might call home.

Name: Jett
Age: 16
Village: ??? Kumai
Fighting Style(s): Genjutsu's, Kyusho Jitsu (The art of attacking pressure points on the human body

Appearance: Jett has platinum blonde hair that looks more silvery then blonde, which is spiked up two inches from the scalp of his head, a few strands on his widow's peak wilting over. He has a pale porcelin complexion, and essentially skin and bones, save for a thin layer of durable muscles. He has jet black eyes, that seem to be lined with black circles under his eyes. His outfit usually comprises of an extremely long blood red scarf that mostly hides his nose and mouth, and a black skin tight sleeveless turtleneck. His arms are halfly covered with elbow length black gloves, which have silver arm plates strapped to them, which extend to his elbow to form a sharp sword like shield on either arm (see picture for reference). He wears black trouser's, that are straight and fitted to his legs, and a pair of black open-toed shinobi shoes on his lower portion self. Around his waist he wears a scarf that hides his extensive array of truth potions and poisons.

Basic outfit, save for the mask, and ANBU vest

Personality: A horrible person in general, Jett is everything you would expect in a terribly evil person who's out to help himself and only himself. His selfish demeanor and hatred for idiot's usually leaves him on his own, save for one or two companion's. He's extremely uncaring, and often ignores anything and everything someone says or does. One of Jett's favorite pasttimes is confusing people, both with his techniques and his actions and speech. And of course, killing. Jett's view of life is that of what any assassin's should be: Life is worthless. Anyone's life is worthless, and often, if someone bugs him or annoys him, Jett will usually kill them off right then and there. Cruel, vain, and ignorant, Jett rarely speaks any words of sincere kindness or apology, and loves a good fight. The thought of dying himself seems to excite him, but the thought of someone else dying seems to excite him even more.

History: Jett's family was once directly related to Sia's, and they were tight allies- a rare instance for someone on the Kumai side. Jett was often looking after Sia, who was two years younger then him, and spent most of his time trying to teach her how to use his unique knowledge of Kyusho Jitsu, though this always failed miserably. Sia often followed him around, as he was basically her older brother, having come to stay in Raiken for training. He was basically pleasant until the very end of his stay in Raiken- as when it was announced he was returning to Kumai, something changed, and he became bitter. Sia drifted away and completely forgot of the boy she'd called 'brother' and this also infuriated Jett, having been so easily dropped and forgotten. His family assigned him as the clan's assassin because of his Kyosho Jitsu, and he also forgot of Sia in time, especially after Kumai's attack on Raiken. He spends most of his life in Raiken, assassinating the Raiken shinobi in disguise as one of the Shinoibi. Though, he still carries a grudge against both his own dissapated clan, and the Ishigyoushi, whom forgot him like a cockroach during the last month of his stay in their estate.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Jett is a well-balanced ninja and can fight well in most any situation. His Kyusho Jitsu is also extremely helpful in disabling his opponent. His speed is almost unrivaled, and he is a mostly master shinobi.

But, he doesn't do anything without a price, and his loyalties lie on whichever side he benefit's most of, and his beneficial principles constantly change. Also, he can only use three of his jutsu per day due to their extreme chakra use-up, but he usually sticks to taijutsu and Kyusho Jitsu in most instances.

Special Skiils:
Genjutsu: Ocean of Poison- This jutsu makes the victim believe that they are swimming in a never ending ocean of toxic poison, which usually makes them close their eyes and hold their breath until they pass out or see through the jutsu. This is often coupled with Poison of the Stone Statue jutsu.

Poison of the Stone Statue- This jutsu paralyzes the foe in the illusion that they are encased in a layer of stone, making them unable to move.

Pain of Life- This jutsu causes the victim's brain to play the victim's death in a different way, each time the victim coming back to life just to die again, leaving the victim immobilized for long periods of time.

Taijutsu: Kyusho Jitsu- The art of attacking human pressure points, when successfully delivered, the body part directly connected to the pressure point with become useless. Such as, if you press a point on the elbow, the arm becomes useless from there on downward- though the challenge is to get close enough to deal the attack. It is similar to pressing chakra points.

OOC: Changed his appearance around a bit...a lot. Anyway, just his lower appearance though, and not on the actual sign-up (too lazy for editing) This is his new appearance: But the purple is black and the bronze armor is silver, and the pinkish fabrics are the same color as his scarf. No mask, no white hair.

Bunch of nonsense in my posts for now: Hahaha, nobody's around my character's so don't expect anything worth reading in my post's until I get someone to sic Jett on you guys. xD Just tell me when I can, because I don't want him to find the weapons and stuff.

IC: I tread lightly, stepping over dead bodies and holding my breath against the stench of rotting corpse's. Sighing, I let out my breath, and breathed in deep, glaring down at the scum who'd filled the air with unbearbly disgusting air that reeked horridly of heavy alchohol. I kicked aside a large man who smelled the most of beer and sake, before sliding what remained of the shoji paneled door aside, stepping outside into the fresh air. More like air that was just as bad- if not worse, then the air inside the pub. One other breathing person...well, one other person who was alive and also holding his breath was Himori. He was a different person. If I wasn't reserved to kill the person, he'd do it- whether it was apart of order's or not. It caused me a lot of trouble, because he usually killed people important. But, in the end, it was better to have him around then not. It cut the work in half, and he was like a slave- with a knack for killing.

"Are we done already?" He asked, feigning surprise, his black hair that was randomly slashed at with a kunai to be kept short rustling in the empty wind that brought true fresh air, "This was a small village." I waited for it. It was silent, but I continued to wait. "How much are we getting paid?"

I closed my eyes and thought for a long time. Should I tell him or no? I gave a vague answer, "Enough." Himori sweatdropped, but didn't press the subject. We left, and I insisted we get a good clean bath before going anywhere. At least we'd killed all the attendee's without spilling a drop of blood in the warm waters. It wasn't an artificial bath, it was from the hotsprings the mountain's produced- so the fact of no helpers wasn't an issue. I sent Himori to the women's side- I had always always refused to bathe with anyone- not my family, not friends, not strangers, not any living substance. Now, corpse's on the other hand...I didn't like their stare, but that didn't bother me as much as a living human. Bath's were neccessary, and I was extremely vain about being clean and blood-free, but I hated feeling vulnerable, so I always took two kunai with me- most likely out of paranoia.

"Why do we have to take a bath in a place littered with dead people?" Himori asked from over the tall wooden walls.

"Because we're not presenting ourselves to our employer drenched in blood. Beside's, nobody's around to question who we are or what we're doing here." I replied coolly, washing off blood from my clothes and watching it flow away in long spindly ribbon's, I had a spare- I supposed I'd have to wear that one while this one dried. It was odd, I guess you might say, that an assassin was bathing- but who didn't? I shuddered at the thought of not bathing. Even though I had the body and skills of an adult, I was still only sixteen. self-concious towards everyone for no odd reason. I sank lower into the hot waters as I berated myself for admitting I was sixteen. Himori was actually younger then myself- fifteen. We staked out in deserted village's and sometimes stayed in town: Himori could change his appearance, and I could change my eye color, tie a bandanna around my unmistakable hair, and grudgingly remove my scarf and replace it with a tight annoying mask.

"We're done." I announced, and Himori replied, "Hold on." I grumbled something about 'gay pervert' because he was probably examining every dead body in the women's bath- every body "worth examining". Himori's mind was even younger then mine. The thought made me feel better, and I was able to sit up straight in the bath again. Himori and his bumbling ways made me feel good about myself everyday: Maybe that was why I kept him around.

Sakura gazed at Sia's back-view as she dashed away in a split second.

"Sia..." She whispered softly. "I guess that's your way, huh..."

Sakura then turned back to Nina. "So, shall we?" She grinned cheekily again. "Time to find our weapons!"

She pulled out her forehead protector, which shimmered like polished glass. Sakura had always worn this piece of evidence that she was a Raiken Genin on her right thigh below the shortest miniskirt you can imagine, but now... She was a Raiken Genin alright, and she's proud of that. Sliding the forehead protector, or rather, thigh protector, off her lean leg, Sakura beamed slightly.

"So, let's go, shall we?" She repeated herself, once more giggling cheerfully. Her happy-go-lucky and innocent grin was obviously in sight, along with her forehead protector, now holding back her elegant and beautiful thigh-length, pale pink hair.

OOC| Basically the new place of the protector is like the original Sakura's from Naruto, sicne I have no other original ideas... Writers' block is attacking me these few weeks.
