OOC: Bijou: Maybe you could start following us before we got the weapons, and then we could fight for them?

-----

So Sakura -chan was afraid of blood? I looked over at her, wondering how she could ever be a kunoichi if she had a fear of blood. This wasn't really my problem, though, and I decided that saying that she could never be a ninja really would not help the mission in the slightest, so I held my toungue.

I was quickly startled out of my thoughts, however, by Sakura loudly declaring that she was hungry. My eye twitched for a moment, before I heard her voice again, instructing us to go along with it. I sighed grudgingly, but went along with it anyway. Sucking in a deep breath, I began my act.

"Sakura -chan! You're always hungry!" I "shouted" at her, feeling extremely stupid but also slightly amused at the game.

Then, realising that someone new had arrived, I stopped shouting and released all the air from my lungs in a large sigh. Ah, Tora, I remembered him from school, though I had only met him once or twice. After listening to everyone else's weaknesses, and Tora's introduction, I had begun to get a bit antsy. When were we finally going to leave?

I opened my mouth to ask, but I was cut off by Tora's announcement that we were leaving. I closed my mouth again. Oh, well. I sighed and followed the rest of the group into the trees.

Nina looked at her comerades in an impatiant, but loving way. By watching and "listening", she had figured out how to use the telepathy. Aren't you guys taking this a bit lightly? Oh, foo, be as cheery as you want. We just need to make sure we all cooperate. Her eyes darted from the hyper Sakura, to the seeming shy but cheerful Rin, who Nina was terrified of, Tora, whom she was still warming up to, and the weird but smart Chihiro. These guys... by the end of all of this, they are going to be my best friends, Nina thought in an unusually happy way.

So, anyway, She thought to the others in her head. this is cool with me. I hope it's that way with everyone else. The wind blew across her face for one last time, then she jumped quickly in the trees to catch up with Tora. "Hey," her voice was faint with obvious fear, but she knew he woulden't... "Um... I'm... I'm not quite used to you yet but..."

She gulped and started again. "I'll try to get along with everyone, including you... and Rin." The leaves ruffled, and she looked away. "I've been sort of cold to you, and you don't even know what happened. I'm sorry..." Her voice trailed off, and she continued jumping, trying to keep up with him.

I looked at Nina. That's gonna be one powerful person right there. I looked over at tora and started to jog so I can be in the group. I then saw Chihiro a few feet back standing there. "Hey Chihiro, let me help you. Grab my hand so I can be your eyes." I smiled weakly, but was afraid that she was gonna turn my question down. I then put my hand out so she could hold it.

While Long Range was engage, I felt like zooming in where the direction was. To my and everyone elses' horror, I saw a Kumai soldier.

( Now you start posting Bijou with your soldier. )

So they were telling eachother their powers and weaknesses...how pathetic. The only being who should know those facts was the being who supressed them within their own caverns of their mind, not people who could easily turn on you despite the fact that you put all your trust into them.

A light chuckle formed upon her lips, grim and sour as though it caused a pungent flavour in her mouth. She crosses her legs, placing her thin hands upon her knees, and rises with the ease and grace as that of a monarch. Troubled bown eyes casted foward, she paused to ponder whether she should let her prescence be known. However, the group started to go on the move, and her grim smile turned into a frown.

In any other circumstances, she would failed to of cared, but she was indeed curious of where this would lead...

So the Emo decided the follow, tightening the tourniquets around her arm, reasurring that they would not fall off and cause the blood to pour. At the moment, she didn't care if the other's realized she was following them. They would not veiw her as a threat, anyhow, being that she was a sickly, bloody, and thin being that looked as though she couldn't hurt a fly, despite all the shuriken about her belt.

She pursued.

Gyou soared along the forest tree's, just like any other bird in the world, he told me. He always started out like a story, which pissed me off because it took forever. He took notice of a rather large rag-tagged group of shinobi that were most definetely not Kumai, he said, due to their unprofessional appearance. They hadn't seemed to notice me yet, the bird squawked, even with my shrill whistle, so I was unnoticed for the moment. I guess he couldn't have known anything that had happened on the way back- so I was under the impression that they hadn't the slightest idea I was around. Gyou told me that they seemed to have been at a standstill, and were just about to move. Gyou had probably been watching them for longer then nesseccary, because I'd been stuck hanging out on the roof for quite awhile. (Again, he should be going into your timeframe once he get's off the roof.)
"Are you going after them?" He asked me in his birdy language, and I shrugged.

"I suppose I have little choice, considering they probably noticed you already anyway."

Gyou ruffled his feather's indignantly and squawked, "How so? I was as quiet as a mouse, and no mouse could've been as quiet as me! And it's not like I had to fly after them, they weren't exactly going anywhere!" I smirked, and held up a dead mouse by the tail, saying, "I know what you're implying."

"About time." Gyou snapped, snatching the dead mouse out of my hand and taking off. I stood up, taking my time, and stretched. Ah, the goodness of life is so incredible I could shoot myself. Smirking at my own little ironic joke, I hopped from rooftop to rooftop, barely touching onto the surface of each roof before landing firmly on the house closest to the edge of the forest. Hm. I hadn't planned ahead on this issue. I wasn't sure how many Genin there were, but I decided that regardless, I should probably keep on guard and overestimate them- just in case. I didn't know what they could do, I hadn't exactly gotten any fine detail's either. Just that they posed a potential threat to Kumai. I sighed and took a wild guess of 10 Genin, before preparing myself physically and mentally. Well, the physical part was done with stretching, as for mentally… Traps would be the first step. I'd have to speed ahead of them, which might take a little more energy then I should expend before fighting them- but if that didn't work, and I didn't expect it too, a few genjutsu's would probably do the trick. If I found any to be annoyingly immune to them, like Sia for example, then I'd just have to use a little of my special ability on the pesks until they couldn't move anyway. I sighed and deemed this: Not worth it. I would be extremely displeased if I got a bad payment.

Sakura was cautiously aware of the chasing Kumai soldier, but she had not expected him to be that quick. Gulping down a huge breath, she started to dash in an agile speed. Since she had heard from Nina that she was swift as well, she figured Nina could catch up.

"And Rin-chan, don't forget I am telepathic, a soul strongest with her mind. I know certain techniques to avoid looking at that kind of stuff, so don't worry about me being a burden."
Sakura gazed back at Rin-chan and grinned reassuringly. 'Be aware, everybody... The enemy is definitely nearby, and waiting to strike!'

Sakura quickened her pace as she swished past Tora-kun. "Be careful. Since the enemy is a bit of a distance away, my guess is that she or he is either be using Long Range Combat, or, most prefabbly, Genjutsu. However, there is really no guarantee of anything, as the enemy could be even use Close Rang Combat, Taijutsu or anything, so we must do our best to escape."

Memories of playing tag with her childhood playmates flashed into her mind. Sakura couldn't help but bit her lip in agony. Trying to force the moments out of her soul, she slowed her pace and gaze back at her companions.

I noticed that I would be able to dodge a ninjutusu attack quickly since I would see it coming first. I heard a twig snapped in back of me. Someone is here. I remembered that the only ones that were last were me and Nina. "Hey guys!, I shouted. Get ready for a fierce fight!"

OOC: Who snapped the twig? I'm sorry, it must've not been me, because that counts as bunnying, and my character certainly did not snap any twigs. Was it Killer-swift? Something wrong with your post Erureido, is that it's less then a paragraph. If it happens again, I'll smack a warning on this roleplay, and it doesn't just apply to Erureido. Means if anybody post's something less then a paragraph. Thaaanks!

IC: I rolled my eyes as one genin shouted as loud as could be, 'Get ready for a fierce fight'. Now there was an amateur. I stopped moving and turned to my right, ran up the side of the tree I was on, and doubled my speed by running along the tree top's, instead of along the branches. Not to mention the fact that another genin had also quickened their pace- it was obvious they'd seen me already somehow (cough) even though I'd been quite a distance away. That meant that one had a dotjutsu, and maybe it was Sia. Were these really Genin? Some kind of crazy mutant barbaric genin they must be then. Gyou had gone ahead to set me some simple yet well-hidden traps, because I knew I wouldn't be able to put myself ahead of them- I hoped they were all as bumblingly idiotic as the one who'd shouted- that would make it easier. They seemed to be okay when it came to speed, though I could already pick out which one's which I'd have to stop, and circulated my chakra into my eyes.

I had halved the distance between us, and running on tree top's wasn't exactly the most inconspicuously quiet thing in the world, so I lightened my step, though I knew once I cut off another quarter of the distance, I'd have to stop being on top at all if I wanted any kind of element of surprise. Gyou came into my view, flapping his wing's once, then twice, then flying off. I was infuriated. Only a second-rate job?! I should've given him two cracker's, I scolded myself. But then again, Gyou was a master at setting traps for his kind. I would just have to hope the genin's missed his feather trap. I quickened again, and pulled out two shuriken, clasped in my right hand, while holding them close to my left side, my arm ready to snap outward at the slightest nerve impulse.

( Sorry Bijou. i'll try to make my paragraphs long as possible. if it's still too short, Pm me to give me ideas on what I should do to make it longer. Oh, I almost forgot, the Kumai I'm goin' to fight is gonna be an experienced Chuunin. Kinda like Kabuto. )

As I turned around, I've seen a figure before the Kumai soldier took a swing at me and threw me a few feet away from him. I then engaged LR, ( Long Range for short ) making my eyes turn bloodshot and some veins inside my eye popping vessels. I backed up so I was able to get ready in a fight.

As I backed up, the Kumai soldier did a fire blowing attack with his hands. Luckly, I dodged it. With my fingers, I meditated for a while until the kumai soldier ran towards me.

I walked two steps back and snapped my fingers. At that very moment, The Kumai soldier collapsed to the ground, with his hands covering his ears. he was screaming in pain as if I cutted his arm. To make sure he was not faking, I zoomed into his hands where it was bleeding. In fact, I did see some blood dripping from where he was covering his hand to stop the blood. "We must finish him. We can't let him live because he will then tell his partners and they will find us." I then clapped my hands and everyone could see a sound boom.

Rushing through the air, its vibration pushed the warrior towards a tree and knocked him out.

( How's that Bijou? Is it much longer? )

As I jumped form tree to tree, I felt something--something that told me that danger was very close. I activated my tiger spirit, and I picked up my pace and began to travel faster. It was steadily getting darker, but having feline traits, I had acute night vision. As I looked back, I could see everyone following close behind me. One of them shout something about getting ready to fight. I tightened my arm bands and grabbed a couple kunai from my vest, ready to fight at any sign of danger.

"Everyone, be on your guard!" I said, looking over my shoulder while jumping through the trees. My hair was swinging in the wind-I had somehow lost it while jumping in the trees. Ignoring it, I called back to the others. "We have to move quickly, I can feel danger approaching!"

She shuddered as Nagai spoke. Nagai, Tora, and Rin are all ok people, I think its my insanity thats making them seem scary, but...

Nina sighed. I don't think my message got through to him. Her eyes were at attention, but her mind has elsewhere. Maybe I was wrong about Tora... maybe he is just like the others... murderers. Thoughts raced through her head, but she ignored them when Tora yelled a warning to everyone.

Her eyes widened. "Yeah!" Nina's hands raced to her pokets, where she kept numorous kunai. She grabbed four. "Here we go... this might take up quite a bit of my chakra, but I'll be ok..." The wind blew a little harder, and she made some hand seals. "Nezumi! (Rat) Ryu! (Dragon) O-ushi! (Ox)" Instincts told her to warn her team mates. She telepathicly told them, "Alright you guys, I'm gonna go invisible. I'll telepathicly let you pinpoint my location. This is gonna take a bit of my chakra, though. I'm gonna be really tired if I get attacked."

Nina sent brainwaves to her partners, telling them where she was. "Alright. Aero Demon!! TEI YASHA NO JUTSU!!!!" Smoke engulfed her body as the wind whipped across her face. When the thick clouds cleared, Nina was nowhere to be seen. She continued with the brainwaves as she used telepathy to communicate. "I'm here. I'll strike when everyones set." Unfourtunately, the kunai could not go invisible too.

The kunai she was holding began to slip out of her hands. "Ugh." Nina regriped the weapons and got in a fighting stance. She looked at Tora, Rin, Chihiro, Hitachi, Kinora, Nagai and Sakura. My friends... especially you, dear Chihiro, The wind settled down a bit as she thought to herself, Please be careful with yourselves.

OOC: Yeah, that's a LOT better Erureido. Way more then I'd expected. *peace sign* Anyhow, does your character just think that they're partner's? o o; Cause I never expected another Kumai soldier to be around, but I guess it'll be in my advantage.

IC: I grit my teeth and stopped entirely. Who was getting in my way? They'd warned the genin of my prescence in general!! I thrust the two shuriken in the genin's general direction out of frustration, and took a deep breath, calming myself to think up a different plan. I instantly regretted throwing the shuriken. I ran to the east, to change my position to be less easily detected. At this rate, I would tire myself before even getting near them. I whistled again, and an extremely irritated Gyou appeared next to me in a flash.

"What?!" He snapped, "What now?!"

I held up two crackers and said, "I'm going to trail them."

Gyou eyed me suspiciously, and snatched the two crackers, gobbling them down within the second before saying, "What am I supposed to do?"

"Watch them. Tell me where to go?" I suggested sarcastically, "I can't use my dotjutsu forever you know." Gyou grumbled something in the bird language that I didn't understand, and nodded his head in agreement, flapping his wings and setting off into the skies. I quickly followed him, this time, on branches instead of the tree top's. I needed to wait for them to tire, and then I would strike. I sighed, putting a hand to my head while I paused for a split second, before wondering if any kind of pay was worth this at all. I hoped no other Kumai soldier's would get in my way. They were annoying little pest's.

I was still in a tree when i had heard one of the genin yell to the others while they were all running away, ia ssumed towards that they were headed somewhere important. "What an idiot, why is he yelling at a time like this, does he want all the kumai around here after him? Bah, how troublesome." In the darkness, i barely saw 2 shuriken flying towards the idiot, "Alright, i might sacrifice my position, but i have to save him." I amde the hadn seals ox, tiger, boar then whispered, "Desert Kunai!" and suddenly i amde another 2 kunai and they whipped into course with the shurkin, blocking them. I had a feeling that the mysterious shinobi that threw them had already left, "He seems to eb in a hurry, not to mention the others seem to as well, what on earth is going on?" I lept down from the tree, and introduced myself to the genin who ahd yelled out earlier. "Hello again, I;m Kinora, pleased to meet you, i guess, oh and next time, please dont yell, unless you want to be killed, now lets hurry up adn catch up to the others. I mean, the other guy who attacked you with those shuriken, he's after the others, i think, they seemed to go off in other directions, and also, that guy was fast, I'm not even sure if he is headed that way, but it's quite ovious that he would. So we should warn the others!" I lept back onto the tree limb i was on the whole time beforehand. And started to dash towards the others. Unfortunatly, they were already wayy ahead.

She stopped her pursuit as soon as the notion of an attack came into view. Alaya paused, sitting herself on a tree in a crouching position. Adjusting the forehead protector that she normally wore around her thin neck upon her head, she gazes about, brown eyes showing no emotion. The group still had yet to acknowlege her prescence, but who said her prescence wanted to be known?

Remaining in her crouching position, she fingered the weapons upon her sash, multiple ninja stars, as well as her dagger used for cutting...herself. She did use it to fight, but only to inflict damage upon herself for her Voodoo-like jutsu, and at the moment she did not feel like such, seeing that 1) no one knew of her exhistence at the moment and 2) she was being a lazy Emo, and did not want to readjust her tournequet once again.

Shuriken glistening, she now settles her bottom onto the tree, knees becoming tired from crouching, even though it was for a few moments of her time. Coughing lightly, she runs her skeletal fingers through her raven black hair hued with purple tinge, wondering if all this following was worth it?

Well, she had nothing better to do...

Alaya sighs, shoving her hands underneath her chin, forehead protector sliding slightly on an angle so it nearly covered her right eye. Eh, why bother brushing it away? Not like there was anything to see. Life wasn't really worth all this trouble anyway, and why worry about something so...petty, while other things are troubling the world.

Sighing, she removes the dagger (why not?) and pushes the bandage down her arm so her scarred wrist was bare, moonwashed skin glowing sickly in the lighting, and sliced away.

Sakura gazed back, glancing at the 2 shurikens. If she was on a normal training programme she could easily figure out where the Kumai soldier was, the one who attacked with shurikens. However, Sakura heard the soft sound of sandals rubbing against tree trunks produced by friction - it was too soft for her to detect where the enemy had ran to, so she gave up and double her speed.

'Lets hurry...'
She told the other telepathically before sprinting like a graceful ballerina out even further. Sakura was already sort of exhausted, but she knew if she still wanted a bright future and her precious life, she has to promote her low stamina.

Sakura heard Kinora's vocie from afar, and sweatdropped mid-time while hopping from tree to tree. 'Kinora-san, you have told us your name before!' She reminded gently, trying not to sound harsh and rude. 'And Nagai-kun was just warning us, there's really no basic need to be so hard on him, though you could really have use telepathy contact...'

Sorry, umm whoever you are, i tend to have memory lapses, and can forgot things that happened recently and stuff.." I deicded to get moving, i didn;t want to be left behind, adn i had figured the others needed some help. I quickly hopped from limb to limb, slowly closing the distances between me and them. "Umm, where is everyone?" i whispered quietly. It was getting pitch dark by now, i ahd figured it was midnight by now, "man time really does fly by quickly, i can't see you guys, please, can you guys tell me where i should be headed, adn what you guys are going after, it seems your in a race with another guy to find something, does it have to do with that scroll is aw Tora carrying?" I stopped, not seeing anything, not even the hadns infront of me, i started to get a bit frusterated, but as always, i tried to hold it in.

Thus there was shouting of a lost ninja, and Alaya couldn't help but smile as she still focused on her cutting and slicing at her own flesh. "Some ninja you are," she mutters aloud to herself. The darkness was one's friend when being a ninja, for it acts as an illusion of not being there, a hiding spot. If you wear the proper clothing, then you cannot be seen in the dark of the night, even with the moonlight out there was always a way.

Flinching, she realized that she had moved her dagger over to a sensitive part of her wrist, where there were no scars and the skin was still hole. This bled more rapidly then the comparison strokes, but it did not make the girl woozy or worried. She never clotted, why else would she possess the tourniquets of cloth she bore around both her arms? A tear trickled down her face, but only out of her body's instinct to cry at pain. No sob was emitted, and instead of drawing away her dagger, she dug deeper into the baby-like area, consumed with only feeling reality forced upon her.

The shouting ninja said something about a scroll, something she had caught a glimpse of, but no ear of earlier in the day, when the stalking began. This caused her curiosity to bubble up again, as did the blood on her arm.

Biting her lip, she draws in the taste of metalic liquid. Obviously, it was her blood. So obvious of her situation, isn't it? Blood blood blood. For the love of G_d, why is this woman obsessed with the substance? She uses it for her jutsu, and for crying out loud she was the same-old cliched Emo with a troubled past, and a dislike of human touch.

At least...she was following them...perhaps that was an effort in order to get away from her cliched lifestyle as the Emo-Nin.

Hitachi was already in gear, whipping out one kunai per hand. "Follower, shoot," he whispered, still keeping a steady pace moving atop the trees. "...This is for Raiken!" He spun around quickly, coming up close to Tora and Nina. "Could you guys cover my defense?" he asks politely. Then, with a glare at the blurred figure of the Kumai ninja, he shouted, "CHAKRA BLAST JUTSU!"

One swift motion is all it took. Making sure to put up weak but significant fields of chakra up around the weapons, he threw them expertly. "Take this too," he says calmly, and jumps forward, lifting one leg, and sending it crashing down in front of the group, making chunks of rock and trees come crashing down, to block he and his teammate's pursuer. A wave of chakra pushed the debris away from them and toward the enemy, which was accidental but good. He actually thought his plan through while he did it.

If I hit precisely there, everyone will be unharmed, and I can block our pursuer. That should do some good for us. Or at least it'll stall them...

With a frown, he cocked his head to the side when he felt a vibration. The soldier must not have been slowed much by this. He quickly spoke to Tora. "Was that okay? I mean, should I have cut us off at the expense of losing a follower in our tracks?"

He suddenly felt dumb. Hitachi stared intently at the spot where he saw the enemy before. "Please be gone, please be gone..." he pleaded. "I'm not in the mood for anymore fighting." Powering down his chakra blast jutsu stage, he waited.

I smirked, and stretched my hands out, jumping up into the air by slapping chakra strings onto the ground to propel myself into the air- right next to Gyou, who was telling me all the details of this traps in the bird language only I understood. I spun around, spinning the chakra strings with me, and noticed with a surprise that that blast of whatever had actually hit me- a light cut on my shoulder. I simply smirked wider, and snapped the chakra strings against the paper bombs Gyou had set up in a large circle. All of the bombs exploded upon being touched, and thanks to the genin's leveling of the forest, everything turned ablaze faster, due to the leaves being easier to burn then say, a thick tree trunk.

"Perfect set-up Gyou." I laughed, and Gyou cawed, nipping at the three crackers thrown into the air. Using the chakra strings as propellers, I landed smoothly in front of the burning inferno of trees and leaves, staring down at the group of genin.

"Eh?" I scanned the rag-tagged group quickly, "Where's Sia?"

My eyes lazily trailed over to rest on the needle positioned across my throat, and scoffed, "Ah, nevermind." Even through her forehead protector, I could feel her glare burning through, and I laughed, "Well, I suppose there's a first for everything, but I guess this isn't the time." I snapped my index and middle finger together and jabbed at her shoulder before she could even react. It hung limp and useless and I jabbed at her other shoulder, and escaped to another tree top. Her arms were useless now, until a good few hours later. She wouldn't be able to remove her forehead protector. What an unfortunate handicap. I almost laughed, but I now strayed my attention to the other genin's.

OOC: *gasp* Sia's back! 8O Though she'll probably just be the invalid. xD And the one to flaunt the effect's of Jett's skills.

"What?" Hitachi yelled with a gasp. "That actually helped our enemy?" He was too stunned to speak for a bit while their foe came over and quickly did some strange attack to one of his comrades. Before he had a chance to see what had been done, his feet were carrying him forward. Straight after the Kumai ninja.

"I WILL get you," he warns, letting off a stream of shuriken to hit the enemy. Or so it seems. He swipes outward, sending a massive burst of chakra toward the one he is pursuing. Man, she's no mere angered Genin, she's past that rank in skill, and naturally strong to boot...but, lets see how clever she is!

"Five clones," Hitachi announces while trailing the enemy. Instantly six of him are present, all fanned out at the sides, except for one in the center. "Clone bomb replication," he continues, and the number of clones present doubles. The only difference is that some of these clones seem almost transparent, and a light shines from within them as they speed up to catch the ninja.

"All at once, ninja tool barrage!" One of the clones to the left says. The center Hitachi nods, and they all begin to form a boatload of different seals with their hands. The trees around the enemy that are still up sprout vines, which attack them mercilessly (Not saying they hit the target, but still).

Next, to finish it Hitachi shoots about ten kunai at his enemy, followed by three shuriken that speed forward due to the boost of his chakra blast jutsu. "You won't be getting away from me," Hitachi shouts at them, and one finger slips while he is making a hand sign. "Aww man," he groans, continuing on. "I can't even do a sign? Oh well...I have help. When everyone else joins in, we're definitely gonna stop him. At least if he's alone..." Hitachi frowns, hoping that the whole team of Genin will be enough. Suddenly he notices that they never left anybody behind. They were just circling around atop the trees and he is being toyed with, which hurts his pride. He quickly stops the chase, feeling stupid for not noticing what was going on.
