Huggle Bunny, here's the deal. I like your sign-up, but it's too short, so you're pending. also, you really shouldn't capitalize every single word you type, it could get annoying.

Nina looked at Sia and Sakura awkwardly. This is too weird... The girl with the pink hair and the pessimist emo girl are more scary then Mr thunder Tora man... Thoughts raced though her head and she just blinked, accepting the thoughts. I mean, It's one thing to be too hyper, but it's another to be SCARY happy. And this girl... Nina thought as she looked at Sia, this girl is the scariest out of all of them. Whats up with her? Either she has the worst attitude in the world, or she was brought up bad... and I hope its the latter. Nina sniffed and shifted her train of thought. Can't she tell that I was trying to cheer everyone up? Maybe she's to dark to understand... Nina looked at where Chihiro had run away. "That was strange..." Her voice was weirdly weak as she talked to herself. She turned to Tora, for he seemed to be a good leader. He diden't seem mean, so Nina was less scared now. "We all need to stick together. I'll go after Chihiro..." She silently turned araound and mentaly prepared to go off alone.

Hello, I was just wondering if it's still okay for me to join this RP?

Sakura nodded. "Well, I guess we really have to look for Chihiro and then we can all find some weapons."

She was rather guilty and regretted for yelling at Chihiro right now. Her mind was no longer clouded now, and she knew Chihiro acted rashly out of rage. Sakura sighed and thought about the places Chihiro might go. She didn't know Chihiro that well, but good enough to know her usual favourite hangouts. However, Sakura shrugged that road of track off when she realised that the places are all gone. There's nowhere else she knows Chihiro may go, mainly because she's not that close or good buddies with Chihiro.

"But anyway, we can always just relaxed and plan out for awhile. It wouldn't be nice if we just rush through without any backup plans should we meet the soldiers before we found our weapons." Sakura suggested to Nina and Tora. "It's only the 3 of us right now, so if we just happen to seperate or anything, we must think of ways to meet up again without dying." She grinned all of a sudden. "Actually if we die, it will make us hero and heroines, sicne we sacrificed for our country! Just joking, I still have a bright ninja future."

~Grafix~ no, it's not too late to join, so just post a sign-up

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"No, nobody is to go after anybody," I said, looking around at Nina and Sakura. "Chihiro and Sia chose to leave, so we shouldn't waste time by gonig off after them. We focus on the current plan, which is finding those weapons. Now, off into the forest we go..."
Then, without another word, I walked into the forest. I was careful not to walk too far ahead or make too much noise, otherwise Nina and Sakura will get left behind or I might attract some unwanted company. The forest was pretty dark; only a few small rays of sunlight passed through the dense trees. Then again, night was approaching, so that could also be why it was so dark. I noticed a shadow disappear behind a tree up ahead. I did a double-take, but then I saw nothing. I turned back around.
"Nina, Sakura!" I yelled back, my voice echoing through the eerie forest.
I was hiding in the forest, when i heard a man's voice talking. I had figured it was the other genins, and i had noticed the voices were getting clearer. I was thankful that i was behind a tree, i looked at the pathway and noticed by shadow was sticking out. I heard one set of footsteps getting louder, amnd closer much mreo quickly then the usual rate. I figured he had ran over to see about me. Quickly without realizing what i ahd done, i jumped to the top of the tree, i made a small amount of noise when i hit some of the leaves, "Crap!" I yelled in a quiet whisper. Hopping that the man right below me didn't notice me. The genin below then shouted towards the other two girls that were wit him, "Err" i might be noticed, 3 genin, "huh, one of them is blindfolded?" I said quietly, i had figured she must have had a seeing disability, i couldn't quite tell in the dark. This made me wonder, 'If she can't see, she must have someway of noticing her surroundings, and maybe she can see even in the dark and..' after that my thoughts ran on and on of different situations. I was just up there hopping no one would see me. I looked at my arm, "Drat" i was bleeding and i didn't know why, i then barely noticed in the darkness that a piece of bark wss sticking out from the tree, right where my arm was. "Unbelieveable, this just isn't my day today!" I noticed some of it had dropped down to where the others stood, this wasn't looking to good for me. I started to have a nervous meltdown, i got scared and didn't know what to do next, so i just sat up there curled up biting my thumb.
Sakura shrugged and followed Tora immediately. She was agile and swift, and that was one of her strengths, allowing her to easily catch up with Tora.
Deep in the heart and even at the outskirts of the forest, it was creepily dark with less light to offer some visual infomation. The atmosphere was frightening and silent, and although the air from some fresh green trees were great, the horrible-looking fauna nearly scared Sakura out of her wits.
And to add to the terrible sight, a bright yellow and black striped spider crawled as a turtle's pace up onto Sakura's right arm, and was almost reaching her shoulder when the lass realised something felt funny on her arm. When she turned her head to look, she literally had to clamp her own mouth to stop herself from yelling like she was going nuts. In fact, she WAS almost mad, and shoved the disgusting eight-legged creature off swiftly. Oh, how she hated freaky crawlies like spiders! She didn't mind any other insect except for cockroaches, lizards and SPIDERS. They were her ultimate, greatest fear, and one cannot imagine how much mental strength it took for her to stop screaming.
"This seems like the perfect layout for hiding. That's the main reason why Hokage-sama chose this place anyway." She commented, shivering in fright over the spider incident. "But anyway, although I hated this place alot, and it wasn't my favourite forest, it's still a good place from hiding from those Kumai soldiers. We-"
Sakura stopped when she heard Tora's voice. It was only then she realised that a thick fog or mist was gathering. Hoping that it will dissipate soon, she narrowed her sharp cerulean eyes, searching frantically for Tora. "This moronic mist! Tora-kun, Nina-chan!"
I stopped. I glanced behind me, at the smoky cloud that blanketed...the village. It looked close enough to touch, and I wondered how far it would spread before it dissapated. Shaking my head I forced one leg to put itself in front of the other, and keep moving. It was hard to go willingly, voluntarily, to a place that would probably raise it's eyebrows and curl it's lip at me. I grasped my last duo of flowers in my sleeves for comfort- these weren't roses, instead, were forget-me-not's. I didn't use them in battle unless I had to. And along the pathway to home, I intended to pick a good array of flowers, just incase I ran into some unpleasant company along the way. I picked up my pace, running, knowing that once night fell, I'd have to stop and rest. It felt like I'd been awake since I was born, and hadn't known sleep at all. I was determined to halve the distance between me and my village before sunset though, so I changed my pace to as fast as I could go, appearing here on one branch, then on another, then on a different one. I picked two daisy's, along the way, and three weed bloomers. The white round ones, were good for attacks. They were like needles when my chakra extended them and sharpened them.
For some reason, the need to go faster grew, and grew, and before I knew it, I wasn't even sure if I'd headed in the right direction. I felt like I was being chased by Kumai Shinobi, even though I knew they were no where around. I stared forward and deemed I was going the right way. With some extra effort, I saw the burning, rotting, and sliced dummies of our training grounds. I saw old family members, and willed myself to move. A quarter of a way there.
"Nice payment." Himori commented on the sack of money in the palm of my hand, "What are we spending it on?" I paused and replied, "Food, shelter, and weapons." Himori deflated and I ignored him. I wouldn't waste a bit of it. Sure I had lot's and lot's of money left in a bank from my extinct Clan, but I didn't want to touch that. I sighed and said, "Let's go find our next employer." Himori nodded, and followed diligently. I wanted to take on a long-term assignment. Or something that would be remotely difficult. Or something I could do with poison. But I didn't get to choose what I wanted to do, and I was ordered to go with Himori to destroy a puny Raiken village. Again. Another one.
Himori was glad to have the mission, and I just wanted to get it over with. We slipped into the village and checked in at a hotel under extremely false names, no thanks to Himori. We spent the rest of the afternoon planning out our destruction. Destruction by flames, because we'd been ordered to make this a loud fall- instead of a silent one, like last time. The Daimyo we were serving, wanted his power to be known. So Himori had a flag with the idiot's insignia on it tucked underneath his shirt. I sighed and waited for dusk.
Okie Dokey, then! Here's my signup!
Name: Koori Rin [Last name first]
Age: 14
Village: Silent Thunder Village
Fighting Style(s): Trapping (Taijutsu?) Dance of the Cat Lvl. 3 (Ninjutsu)
Appearance: Rin is small, and seems almost fragile in comparison to her classmates of the same age. She is about 5'1" in height, and has a rather light complextion. Her dark eyes greatly offset the color of her skin, making them seem large and doe -like in comparison to the rest of her features. A layer of straight, dark brown hair frames her face, and ends somewhere a little bit past her shoulders in a sharp spiky pattern. her hair is always left down to cover her ears, which are kind of oversized. She wears a loose white blouse that ties at the bottom to cover up her small torso, and a pair of fingerless black gloves to aid in battle. She also wears a pair of form -fitting black shorts that end at her knees, and a leg wrap on her right thigh. On her feet, she wears the typical open -toed shinobi sandals.
Personality: Rin is a typical class clown and always the first to laugh at a joke, no matter how stupid or random it is. She can often be found with a bright grin firmly in place, probably laughing at some poor idiot who's stumbled into one of her traps. Trapping people is one of her specialties, and she deploys the trick often. And, although she is clever, Rin would rather spend her time and energy devising ways to entertaining herself rather then actually doing any work. However, she also knows when she is needed, and understands that in order for things to be accomplished, she has to try harder (though that doesn't nessecarily mean she does).
One thing about Rin though, is that she is not really that loyal. She is only completely loyal to herself, and would only risk her life for her teammates or someone truely important.
History: Rin was born into a very prestigus clan in the village of Silent Thunder, where her mother was the clan leader's daughter. Rin's mother was forced into an arranged marriage not too long before Rin was born, and decided to leave, and take her daughter with her. She moved to a village not too far off, where she settled and eventually got married. Rin was raised, and none the wiser about her true family heritage.
Rin's childhood was a fairly normal one, being only occasionally teased for her big ears. However, as she got older, Rin began to feel a little bit lonely, even when surrounded by her classmates, who regarded her only as the "girl who always gets in trouble". So, she played out the part, acting the class clown, and pretending to laugh even when she didn't find it funny.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Rin fights in an almost entirely long range attacks, setting up traps, and using her light footwork to lure her enemies into them. Once trapped, she can make easy work of her targets with her basic weapons. She can't fight very well in close combat.
Special Skills: Rin comes from a family with a special ability, "Nine Live of the Cat" that enables the user to use an attack that is unique to the clan, "Dance of the Cat" whichs strength varies depending on how high a level the user can accomplish, and runs on chakra alone, leaving the user very little after the initial attack.
Name: Nagai Sogekihei (Na-chi for short)
Age: 13
Village: (the village you are from) Silent Thunder village
Fighting Style(s): Long range (Ability)
Appearance: Na-chi is an average kid. Standing at 5"6' and weighing at 126lbs., for the thunder village, it's a recipe for disaster. Unlike everyone else, he wears regular clothes so no one can think he is a ninja. He wears baby knuckles to protect his knuckles from damaging himself when fighting. He also wears shorts and running sneakers for escaping fast.
Personality: Na-chi likes to call himself a "hot-headed fighter" because of his short temper. He loves intimidating people with his height. Although he's tough, he also has a soft spot for weak shinobis. He likes to laugh, but he can be serious most of the time. His close friends thank Na-chi for being his friend. He loves to get angry because for him, it becomes a test on how to fight against another high-ranked ninja.
History: Na-chi was born in the Thunder village shortly after a war against relatives. His parents died after he was born. His father died of an unknown disease, while his mother died giving birth to him. It was then that the leader's assistant of the village found him and raised him. His fake father then died of homicide from a rival. Na-chi witnessed the murder of his adopted father when he was 4 years old. Becoming scared, he fled the village at age 12 and 1 year later, he has accidently walked into the region of the fighting from Kumai soldiers.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Na-chi's strong point is long-range attacks with his ninjutsu and his bloodline, while his weakness is solving puzzles and illusions. His bloodline is also making him blind everytime he uses it.
Special Skills: Na-chi's bloodline ability makes him view things closer and is the reason Na-chi uses long-range ninjutsu.
ok, I updated it. If that's not enough, I don't know what to put.
Swiftly, I dodged through the trees. I was eager to get home after the long week, and I could just barely make out the village through the foliage. From what I could see through the trees, it looked normal, but there was something definitely not right. I hesitated a moment before taking my next step. As I got closer to the village, I could feel a small twinge of fear well up in my chest, and suddenly I wasn't so sure I wanted to go home anymore. Bracing myself, I burst through the last of the trees and came to a dead stop in the middle of the road.
What I saw horrified me. All through the village, I could see bodies and rubble littered the dark ground. Even a few buildings were still on fire. I felt a surge of emotion course through me, and I let out a dry sob, as I realised that there was no one else around. This was definitely the work of the Kumai. In a flurry of emotion, I swept down the path, trying to find someone - anyone - still alive.
As I sped down the path, I could hear some voices off in the distance, and I turned myself towards the forest again. I could hear them getting louder as I approached. They sounded familiar, and with a jolt, I realised they were the voices of my classmates! I had decided to take my time getting home, and had gotten left far behind on the return journey. I stopped running a little ways away, and walked confidently towards my classmates, even though inside I was anything but confident.
"What's that?"
I asked, indicating the scroll in one of their hands. I brushed back a hair from my face, and glanced around the trees. Almost immediatly, I noticed a dark shadow slip between the towering plants. I narrowed my eyes a little bit, but let it slide. It was probably nothing, but I kept my guard up anyway.
Turning back to the group, I waited for a reply.
YAY! Ninja rp! Whoohoo!
Heheh, so anyways...
1 quick question - if all the Jonin and Chunin are *kaput,* then how did the students get training to be Genin?
Name: Hitachi Sudani (Sooh - dah - nee)
Age: 14 (his birthday is the day he and his fellow Genin return)
Village: The Leaf Village (was found as a baby, so the academy trained him)
Fighting Style(s): (Plain combat doesn't really count as a style right? That's also one of his styles)
1 - His first style is the Hawk strike style, where he lets his opponent get close, then speeds around in dizzying patterns, confusing them, tossing shuriken while doing so. Then he jumps over and around the foe, striking them with nonstop blows that are executed with his arms spread out like a bird.
2 - Next and last style. The blow-back style for long range fights. If the foe strikes from afar, Hitachi deflects the blows back at them, sometimes following up with distance-covering moves of his own, such as the kunai wind assault, a barrage of kunai enhanced with chakra to throw off chakra-tracking fighters. Then, lowering his output of chakra, he approaches, so the foe can't tell whether he is the opponent or a kunai weapon, and attacks hard and fast.
Appearance: He wears sandy brown pants that are rippled slightly around the rims of his pantlegs, and a thick white top. Over that he wears a slightly darker brown vest, buttoned up tight, and brown run-of-the-mill ninja sandals. A chain is tightened around his forehead, but nobody has a clue what it is for. He has long black hair that is spiky running down to his middle-back area. The familiar ninja swirl symbol is on a wristband made of rubber on his left arm. Sometimes it flashes, for some unknown reason. Around Hitachi's neck is a silver chain with a golden shuriken item on it.
2nd outfit - White top with hood, and fingerless white gloves with blue streaks down the middle finger area and across the back of his hand down past the center. (Confusing? Sorry!) When wearing this, he has on black sweatpants and his shoes are made of chakra. That's right, pure chakra.
He is usually seen as a handsome and mildly talkative boy, that hangs around leaning against trees and sitting on railing. Hitachi's main signature appearance is being around his peers, smiling and talking.
Personality:
The boy can be quiet at times, and also a little too pessimistic for his own good. Hitachi enjoys being around girls slightly, but doesn't let it interrupt important things. For instance, if it came to girls or training for the Chunin exams, he'd train, unless he gave his word to be somewhere (He always keeps his word). He is usually calm and polite, always willing to help someone train unless he has a reason not to. He is constantly working on his combat skills, and loves to eat, though he stays fairly thin. His favorite thing to do (training-wise) is weight train.
His favorite leisurely activity is a nice chat or even a walk with a friend. Since he is charismatic, lots of people are usually near him. Sometimes he needs his space though, and could possibly be rude to show it, mainly the only time he acts furious.
History: He used to be a shy but strong student at the academy. Hitachi passed most of his mission with ease, but some were quite challenging. Especially the day he started to really wonder about his family. He was living a parent-less life. He didn't even know what clan he truly belonged to. Feeling out of place at the Leaf Village, even with a handful of supporting friends, Hitachi always questioned his teacher, Kuzuka Xekei, and his peers, about where he belonged. Soon, after constant dismissive replies, Hitachi came to the conclusion that nobody he could talk to here knew. So he secretly planned the day that he would venture away from the Leaf Village to look for his clan.
Unfortunately though, he was sent out of the village just before the night he planned to sneak away. The Kumai ninja were coming, he was told. His dream of becoming "Special Jonin" seemed like it may have to wait until he returned to the academy. Just as he was leaving with his fellow students, a large group of shady ninja flooded one part of the village, and he was forced to watch idly as his friend Deku was swallowed up among them in an attempt to catch up (He was always late for events, no matter how important, and now was no exception).
The Jonin could not match the power of the enemy ninja, and died trying to save him. These were the last things he saw before he was taken away, deeper into the crowd of soon-to-be Genin that was reluctantly leaving the village.
Strengths/Weaknesses: He is an exceptional fighter, but is clumsy when it comes to evasion...and because of this, he has built up his combat skills to make up for some of the skills he lacks. His defense isn't too good, but Hitachi is working on it. He is one of the best attacker ninja in his rank, and is agile and smooth with his move executions. His speed is average, unlike his evasion, which is below average. He can only evade well when wearing his jutshoes (Corny? I know, you'll get over it.), which concentrate his chakra to his feet, but this also means while he is wearing these, most of his jutsu's pain is caused by attacks from his feet. If these shoes are destroyed...(HEHEHE, you'll just have to find out yourself.)
Special Skiils: Hitachi flies up to five feet high without chakra output. Nobody knows why, even him! However, this only lasts for a limited amount of time and the ability must then recharge.
(Gift from his parents, he does not know) Angelic bird savior - if Hitachi is about to be killed instantly, this spirit bird takes half the damage, but some smart ninja can figure out ways to get past this.
Jutsu - Chakra blast jutsu! This is more like a special shielding power from within.
Hitachi uses this mostly all the time unless the oponent is weak or he is some other situation, like a foe that absorbs chakra. All his punches and kicks send out massive waves of chakra, breaking even the toughest guards, but his chakra increases by a third of the damage delivered with each successful blow, and decreases by a third of the chakra released with every failed attack (only if it uses this special jutsu). If you don't have good defense or evasiveness, or a special ability to help you out, you're as good as toast.
Some special moves of Hitachi's do not ever call upon this special power.
Also, he has the Coriko aura. This was passed down to his father from a family friend within the Coriko bloodline. This ability unexpectedly transfered over to his DNA.
This aura only comes when Hitachi is in desperate need of defense or when he wants to keep up with intense runners. It is harder to conserve chakra if he does this while on water, and the aura naturally recovers his chakra except for when he is walking on the surface of the water. Also, the main trait this aura is known for is reducing damage from attacks and sometimes even nullifying the effects of moves to nothing, which can be helpful if the foe is faster than he is.
One side effect: The Coriko aura can be stopped by the Hyuga clan's special chakra point hits because it runs in his veins and is within his chakra, released through his pores.
Was that okay? If I'm accepted, can I be a Kumai ninja too? If so, I'll put up their info.
Sakura grinned cheekily at the arrival of her classmate.
"Hey Rin-chan! Well this is an exciting adventure, and we are doing this for our country! For Raiken!" She exclaimed in her normal cheerful nature. "A wonderful fantasy I can never dream of!"
Indeed, Sakura was a naive, innocent and blindly optimistic lass, adventurous and cute. But she had no idea how her thought of 'adventure' and 'fantasy' might lead her to her death. And worse, she was beginning to think fo this as fun!
"However, there will be dangerous times, and we might be injured, or even die." Sakura added, still beaming with her happy-go-lucky, cute grin. "Har, so Rin-chan, you wanna join us? It's just that the Hokage-sama mentioned about some weapons, and now we are off to find our own weapons." She suddenly giggled. "Well, I was just thinking, I saw some kind of print on the scroll just now..." Her voice trailed into a whisper to Rin. "I thought it was an advertisement, and I immediately though of this; This scroll si written by the SUPREME Hokage, it's sweet, it's cool, it's cute, it's beautiful, it's good for your health, buy it today!"
Sakura's acute ears and sharp senses told her that shadows are slipping past, but she wondered Tora would do, so she just prepared her defense secretly and awaited his suggestions.
I looked as the ninja academy was disappearing before my very eyes. I then looked over the group of genins. I walked carefully to them with my guard. I then stopped and used Long Range to zoom in and read their lips on what they were saying.
I walked towards them, hesitating to talk. "Excuse..me, but.. what. happened... here.? I just came from my hourly walk and saw this place destroyed. This place looks like a burning graveyard full of bodies." Thankfully, they didn't know I was a shinobi since I hid my forehead protecter in my pocket which was covered in a red bandana.
( This is what Na-chi looks like minus the forehead protecter. )
OOC: ^^; Nagashi looks like Sasuke? xD
And, my character is in a different time zoneage, because he's on his own. Once he catches up to you guys (if I decide he does) then he'll be on the same time break. Same with Sia, so if things seem to happen really fast for them, that's why.
IC: "Genin's?" I asked the Daimyo blankly. The Daimyo didn't seem like the friendliest man I'd ever met, and especially not the weakest. For a Daimyo at least. Most of those fat pompously rich people couldn't do a thing to me if they weren't sitting on a pile of money. But I was wary of this Daimyo, with his insane vulture eyes that constantly looked as though he was about to lash out at me. I wasn't afraid of him- oh no, but I wondered what he could do with those eagle eyes. Pick out the strongest shinobi out of thousands? Pick the juiciest meat off of a roast pig? I stared squarely into those eyes and he laughed.
"Yes, Genin's. I apologize for calling you all the way back here to Kumai for this tedious deed, but you will be a very valuable shinobi amongst the ranks of the other shinobi hired to go after and kill these Genin. Mostly actually, to find them. Kumai isn't stupid," He said, and the thought 'Not entirely' rang through my head before I heard him continue, "-And so after the fighting we sent three shinobi to count and identify the corpse's. Missing corpse's. Perhap's they were away, or they escaped. Nonetheless, I want them dead, and I want their head's for proof." A smirk played on the Daimyo's near invisible lips for how thin they were, and I stared up at him, the forehead protector strapped tightly across my mouth hiding my slightly gaping mouth.
"Of course, but-"
"Payment will be discussed once they're dead. As for how much..." A kunai appeared in the Daimyo's hand as he twirled it around, "Well, you may never have to lift another finger again. But- that payment will come with another deed, that I will tell you in the future if you live through this ordeal."
I tilted my head forward before disappearing. Himori was no longer with me- he said he no longer had any profit being around me. I was just fine with that. I didn't need an accomplice for a bunch of Genin's against a Chuunin like me. But finding them after being delayed a few hours of having to cross the border, might be a different story.
I felt a speck of wind caressing my face, I stayed notably distant from the now flowing genin group, I decided to arrive, back again with them as I let out a smirk and replied to their speechless vocalization as "K-konichiwa, everyone," my voice was now pending against the echos of the forest as I let off another smirk.
There was a slight little "Treek," if that is a word; that only the most acute of people would hear. Someone was here, and I knew it. I turned my head to a newly arriving genin, as she answered "What's that?" in a slightly curious way, and another girl, which I could tell was optimistic, and perky, that's the word replied as it was a scroll from the hokage, and then she blindly whispered to her that she dreamt it was an advertisment, I smirked again, but as I did the same sound echoed again.
I secretely unleashed a kunai into my pocket and kept my senses and defenses up.
