NES Classic Edition

So am I!

I can understand the lack of Duck Hunt (due to the NES Zapper not being compatible), Gyromite (due to R.O.B. not being compatible), Earthbound Beginnings, and Final Fantasy 2 and 3 (all three weren't out in the U.S. at the time), but where's Contra 1, Double Dragon 1 and 3, Battletoads, Castlevania 3, Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3, StarTropics 2, Donkey Kong 3, Tetris, and the other 5 Mega Man games?

Waiting to see if we'll be able to get more games onto it. Like maybe the first four Dragon Quest Warrior games.

I can dream

Definitely picking one up, soo hyped. It's a really cute small little thing too isn't it? 8D Maybe that's just me hehe. I'm really excited for that Final Fantasy I though. *_* Pac-Man's addicting and I'm hyped for LoZ and a few of the other games. Gonna have tons of fun with this~

Yeah, this'll be mine by the end of the year.

It's pretty good for the ultra casual player, but it's a waste for most video game enthusiasts since setting up an emulator is as simple as opening the .zip and running the .exe.

It's also missing a few games. Why did Castlevania 3 not make it when 2 did? What happened to Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3? Why only Megaman 2? I could understand if it was based on popularity, but Castlevania 2 and Zelda 2 are some of the most disliked games in their series.

Yeah, pretty much my thoughts. I was interested when I began reading about it, but it just being basically a 52-in-1 with some questionable choices- and who knows how well they'll actually execute it-, as well as the fact that it won't be getting more games, makes it...less enticing.

What I am interested in, though, are those controllers that they come with that are...what, $10? That's cheap as hell and just as convenient. I'll be picking up at least one of those.

I'll seriously be considering getting one of these. It's a really cool concept.

I wonder how many of them will actually be manufactured.

The box makes it look like a total bootleg.
