Suggestion: New forum section for the Minecraft server

I think it would be nice if we had a section just for the MC server where we could show off builds, post feedback, and just talk about the server. Anyone else agree?

A whole section for the minecraft server? Idk, that seems really too much for a single platform that not everyone uses by far, and especially in the long term when people inevitably drop off/get too busy at times. I'd think that the existing thread would suffice to talk about what you've built, discussing the server, etc - after all, back when I was on it a thread worked out fine and wasn't even that active to be frank.

We have that thread for everything you've described. There's unfortunately not enough activity (though that's improving!) on the server to even justify more than a thread for it. It's mostly used for requests to join, but members are free to post build photos on there as well and give feedback.

Ok, thanks for the feedback! Maybe if the server grows, we can have just one forum for it, but until then, I agree that one thread is enough.

Nah. Its stickied in the Video Games section and thus is one of the very first posts that people will see when they visit VG, so that should be good enough traction by itself. For everything that you stated in your original post - sharing of builds, Minecraft chat, etc - it can be done right within that stickied post; the more posts in that thread, the more likely new users may want to join in on all the fun (:
