New FR/LG Monotype Challenge

[Pearlone]

-Defeated Brock with Trapinch (sand-attack/bite)
-Swept all Route 3 trainers
-went through Mt. Moon w/out a problem
-Beaten Jake (Rival) without trouble
-Went on to Bill and beaten all trainers there
-Beat Misty but had trouble.
-Went to Vermillion City took out S.S. Anne and leader Lt. Surge
-Got through the Rock Tunnel.
-Beaten Rival at the Pokemon Tower.
-Got to Celadon City. Saved. taking a break :p

-Beat all of the sea obsessed people on the way down from pallet town to Cinnabar (I couldn't be bothered going the long route)
-Went through the pokemon mansion, beat a few trainers before getting really frustrated at the wild pokemon, so I went and bought some max repels, Best decision of my life.
-Finished the mansion and got the 'secret key' to break into.. I mean enter the gym.
-Battled all the gym trainers and answered all the questions too just to test my pokemon knowledge (Got 100% I'll have you know, even though they are the easiest pokemon questions possible, but Idc :P)
-Faught Blaine, which was the easiest gym battle so far obviously, and earned myself the.. okay can't remember it's name so I'll just call it the Cinnabar badge.
-Walked out the gym to have Bill kidnap me onto his ship and he sailed me off to the island place to do the task for him.

Now I am just about to do the task thing for Bill and then will face the final gym in Viridian City. :)

Update:
-Did the task of finding the little girl in the woods, what a pain.
-Got the HM Rock smash (I actually cannot remember getting it there before.. And i've played FR many times.. Weird.)
-Went back to Viridian City and the gym was open! YALDI.
-Faced all the gym trainers, who were quite easy because they were mostly ground.
-Faught Giovanni (Dont know how to spell his name, but oh well lets continue..) and I sweeped all his pokemon with surf from Blastoise :D
-Went to the pokemon center, and began to head for the pokemon league before running into Blue -.- which I forgot he appeared there so I hadent saved before him! eek!
-I beat all of his pokemon quite easily except for his stupid Alakazam who put up quite a fight with his physcic.

So turns out that my National Dex rom really is messed up xD I have to do all the Lorelei and Rocket stuff before I can challenge Elite 4. They'll be in their 60-75 lvls.

Just finished Misty.

Happenings since Brock:

-Bought the Magikarp in the Pokecenter in front of Mt. Moon
-Caught a Zubat
-Level grinded like hell so Pidgey could evolve into Pidgeotto and Magikarp could evolve into Gyarados

Misty's gym:
Pidgeotto made quick work of Staryu, and despite Starmie confusing Gyarados with Water Pulse and even healing up with a Super Potion, the half-psychic type stood no chance against the dark-type Bite.

UPDATE: Just annihalated Lt. Surge!

Things that have happened since my last update:
-Boarded the S.S.Anne
-Embarrassed my rival, Derp.
-Got HM01
-Evolved Zubat
-Evolved Spearow
-Caught a Sandshrew for the sake of having a HM slave, as I didn't want Charmeleon getting stuck with Cut.

Gym Battle:
I don't know how the hell I did it, but I battled Lt. Surge and beat him on my first attempt. My Charmeleon stomped on Voltorb and Pikachu, but I switched to Fearow when he brought out Raichu, fearing the worst. My speed is through the roof with Fearow, so I whittled his health down halfway with a Fury Attack that hit 5 times, paralyzing itself because of Raichu's Static. Raichu tried using Thunder Wave, but it had no effect on the already paralyzed Fearow. Fearow then got stuck in paralysis the next turn as Raichu used Double Team. In the next turn, Raichu struck Fearow with Shock Wave, leaving him at 7 HP, but Fearow took down Raichu with another Fury Attack, sealing the deal and winning me the Thunderbadge.

UPDATE: Mowed down Erika

Things that have happened:

-Caught a Bellsprout as an HM slave to use both Flash and Cut
-Made my way through Rock Tunnel while leveling up
-Showed up in the Celadon Game Corner and infiltrated the Rocket Hideout
-Fought Giovanni. Giovanni's Onix and Rhyhorn couldn't hold a candle to my Charmeleon. Since Charmeleon had been tired out by all the other trainers in Rocket Hideout, I switched to Fearow to battle his Kangaskhan, bringing her down with a few Leers and a couple of Fury Attacks.

Celadon Gym:
I knew that for this monotype challenge I would have absolutely no trouble with this gym. As I pillaged the trainers in this gym, Charmeleon learned Flamethrower. Erika was no trouble at all. My Pidgeotto took down Victreebel with one Wing Attack, and Tangela fell to Golbat's Wing Attack as well. Charmeleon took down Vileplume with one hit of his Flamethrower, ending the battle very quickly.

I'm enjoying this more and more.

UPDATE: Finished off Koga

Since my receipt of the Rainbow Badge:
-Defeated my rival, Derp, at Pokemon Tower
-Charmeleon evolved after battling the Rockets in Pokemon Tower
-Pidgeotto evolved on the way to Fuschia City
-Caught a Dratini
-Caught a Doduo
-Dratini evolved into Dragonair
-Doduo evolved into Dodrio
-Replaced Butterfree and Fearow with Dragonair and Dodrio
-Took on Koga and won

Koga battle:
Dragonair had no trouble with Koga's first Koffing. While the battle was mostly easy, things got difficult when Dodrio took on Koga's Muk. Dodrio kept whittling down his opponent, but Koga kept using Hyper Potions. Finally, after Dodrio fainted from poisoning, Dragonair took down Muk. The next Koffing stood no change against Gyarados, and Weezing couldn't get one hit in on Charizard.

Since my last update:

-Beat Rival Derp
-Beat Giovanni
-Took on Saffron Gym

Sabrina:
Kadabra stood no chance against a few well-landed hits from Dodrio. Golbat took down Mr. Mime with a few Bites. Dragonair took care of Venomoth with two Slams. Finally, Charizard completely toasted Alakazam, making this battle quite a walk in the park.
