I'm not getting one, since Luvdisc is the lamest Pokemon in existence, so why in the bloody hell would they make an evolution to one of the most hated Pokemon, probably just to torture us.....
I get that you don't like it and that you won't capture one to use, but to label it as "the lamest Pokémon in existence" is more of just your own opinion. I myself am not a fan, yet I still don't degrade it because of that. Also, maybe because it's pre-evolution isn't all too great in stats is why it's getting an evolution. It's called improvement and it may not be your style of things, but I'm sure it is to others. u_u

Since the region doesn't look like there's too many water-filled areas, my guess is this region won't have as much Water Type Pokémon. It probably explains why we haven't seen that many Water Types revealed either. It's time GameFreak focuses more on the other types for a change; like that Rock Pokémon for instance, which by the way I find is pretty cool.

Many people actually called Luvdisc the lamest Pokemon in existence. -_- But yeah, I too may not be the biggest fan of Luvdisc, but no Pokemon is lame to me.

As for your other comment, I actually won't mind more water types, but then again they're my favorite Pokemon types. XD; I'm cool with Rock Pokemon and would like to see more of them too, as long as I don't see Geodude and Graveler again. ._.

most hated pokemon? Quit assuming you know how everyone thinks.

I always found Luvdisc useful. Not for battle, but for heart scale farming. If its evolved form had good stats I would probably use it.

I think what I'm looking for in this game is more diversity in Pokémon. It gets boring going into a certain route and knowing what's going to pop up or what's to be expected. I think I want to be surprised every once in a while and not see the same overly populated Pokémon everywhere (Rattata, Zubat, Tentacool, Geodude, Zigzagoon, Bidoof - love you guys, but I'm looking at you).

So, I think I'd just want more abundance in Pokémon throughout the region. First few regions with the same Pokémon, that's fine. However, as you travel farther from home, more Pokémon should take their places. That's just my opinion though, but I say it's a decent fix.

For instance, this new rock Pokémon. I'm not usually the one to train them in my team, but this one like Cranidos I think I can make an exception.

Luvdisc's current stats are:

43 Hp
30 Atk
55 Def
40 SpA
65 SpD
97 Spe

Most likely Luvdisc's stats will jump like Finneon's did when he evolved into Lumineon. (about 20-25 each) I would like the stats to jump higher so we could have it go to at least UU, not stay in NU.

Oh and I would also like Gigaiasu to be the new Golem. I could see a little crystal pokemon evolve and gain legs, then become more detailed as Gigaiasu.

Maybe the prevo's of Gigaiasu (Giga Earth) could be Betaiasu (Beta Earth) and Alphaiasu (Alpha Earth)?

Yeah, I too would like it that I don't see the same Pokemon everywhere too. It gets annoying when you battled Zubat a million times already. XD Hopefully Black and White will change this.

I too think Luvdisc's stats will jump too after it evolves, so it'll be an improvement. It'll be quite fast, though. D: Then again, fast is good sometimes if you're not the opponent. :P

Also, interesting on your theory about possible pre-evolutions of Gigaiasu. That Pokemon does look quite detailed. I would like to see a little crystal Pokemon too. XD

Oh my, 60 base SpA? That's almost sweeping power. I really hope it will get something better, because it's an honest insult to give an incredibly useless(battle-wise) pokemon a slightly less incredibly useless(battle-wise) evolution.

I'm liking Luvdisc's (possible) evo but I'm liking Gigaiasu even more he is like one of my fav gen 5 pokemon revealed so far

This sweet little heart have finally an evolution :)
Stonger and faster, it will be finally to use him without over-training him :)

IMO, The Luvdisc evolution looks better than majority of the new pokemon released so far.

Organic rock with stick legs is not cool.

Geodude and Graveler say hi.
Fine, they have stick ARMS instead of stick legs, but you basically just explained plenty of rock type pokemon.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for in this generation. So far, we've been just about the same Pokemon pop-up region after region, and it gets fairly tedious after a while, so having something new would actually be a nice change. While we'll probably miss Zubat, Tentacool, etc, it'll be a relief at the same time to finally not see them over and over and over again.

Now I can't wait to see the new Gen V Pokemon that's going to be the new apparent annoyance replacing these Pokemon.

personally i would not miss zubat, geodude etc i mean there are enough of them in the previous generations to make me hate them and in the strange occurance that i ever want one of them i can transfer from diamond...

D'aaawww, it's cute! Nice to see poor baby Luvdisc getting an evolution. Maybe it'll be some use for something other than collecting Heart Scales.

I'm sure it'll be just as fun running into Koromori every 10 steps.

I'm not expecting Zubat to be left out. I'm just expecting it to share its niche with Koromori, so that you won't encounter too many of either one.

Other cave Pokemon wouldn't hurt either. If there were like, even five, Pokemon that appear in most caves, that'd be better then always finding Zubat.

You know it will. Because having a new gen of annoyances is definitely better than seeing the same thing for four straight generations.

Bidoof says hi.
It's essentially the same as trading in your Colecovision for a NES; you're still replacing one piece of crap with another [overrated] piece of crap.

Hey Bidoof and evo were useful! Don't offend it by calling it crap :(...
