Also, I just saw this on Serebii XD
They all look like robots to me though.
I assume they are new forms (or some of them) of Rotom (though I hope not. :()
 
the second i saw them at bulbapedia i thought of 2 pokemon rotom and the hot air ballon one driftlum but i think they are just variations of rotom
 
For anyone asking for a source, it's on Serebii and Pokebeach, and most likely everywhere else.

Second, Rotom isn't Legendary. He never was. Seriously, I don't know how many times I need to say this.

Third, dear god I hope these are formes of Rotom.

I agree with all that.

Having 5th Gen Pokemon in Platinum is kinda contradictory. they wouldnt be 5th gen if they were in a 4th Gen game would they? srsly.
 
Based on their colors only and somewhat shapes I think the purple one is pure Ghost or a rotom evo((unlikely), Red Ghost/Fire, Orange Ghost/Fighting, Green Ghost/Grass and Blue Ghost/Water.
 
Okay okay,
Lets just hope these are, idk... New additions to some new minigame in platinum, and not a new pokemon/forme at all. Cause that's stupid.

Blue= Abomasnow or Tangrowth
Yellow= Wynaut
Red= Chingling or Metang

The Green and Purple ones share more of a common similarity to Rotom.

Platinum is gonna be the best.

EDIT: Someone in the other thread said that they all share the similarity of the spike at the top of their head. So it could indeed be new formes for Rotom. It would also explain why it has legendary music.

No not really, since the pokedex would then be different, and that would prevent trading with d/p. The fifth gen is probably going to be on that rumored DS Successor.
 
Rotom is not Pathatic. >___> Also the question is , are these pokemon catchable? It's not like they are new pokemon. I wonder if their is a way to keep these forms. Surely D/P had to hint something about these new forms. It seems so odd for them to appear so spontaneously.

Well, these are obviously not new Pokémon.
If they were, some kind of data on them would already be in the Diamond and Pearl games. However, they are not.

So, It can be safetly said that they must be alternate formes. From the picture, I would assume that they are found within the Torn World. As to what Pokémon they could be, I'm not sure.
(My guess would be Rotom, like the rest of you.)
 
I'd say, if they are Rotom forms, that the inside heads will all be the same. Rotom, like Castform's forms, has a crystal shell with a head inside. All of Catform's forms have the same heads, or at least faces.
 
Rotom's pokedex data says that in can enter machines and wreak havoc... So these are most likely new forms. You probably need Rotom to hold a certain item (I.e. a computer mouse) and it will turn into a computer-themed version where it has taken over a computer.
Of course, this post will be overlooked by mostly everyone. *sigh*
 
I havent looked it over, it makes most sense to me and knowing this It makes more sense and they do resemble Rotom
 
Well usually Forme changing just redistributes the stats of said Pokemon. Hopefully they'll add stat points to these Alternate formes.
