New Z-Moves confirmed!

Following the release of the latest trailer came with some more information from the official website.

"New Z-Moves!

In Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, the main character wears a Z-Ring in order to use Z-Moves. In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, the main character will put on a Z-Power Ring, which can use even more varieties of Z-Moves than the Z-Ring! And the games also feature new Z-Moves for certain Pokémon!"

So not only will there be new Z-moves, but it also sounds like the Z-Power Ring is an updated version of the Z-Ring.

The Z-power ring is just so Nintendo can make USUM different enough from SM... in my opinion its more of a gimmick than an important feature. However, I am interested in the new Z-moves.

The Z-Ring getting an upgrade is I guess an excuse to add in new Z-Moves. Will be excited to see what they are what Pokemon gets them.

I like Kommo-o new z move. Hits both opponents and raises stats. Very impressive.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they are, but they are hardly a selling point for me.

I feel like the Z-moves might be based off of Pokemon's signature moves. In that case, I think there's a lot to pick from in gen 7, right? I have a feeling maybe some new gen 7 mons will get some Z-moves

I think Togedemaru could potentially get a new Z-Move that works off Zing Zap, since I think the reveal trailer showed a close-up of Togedemaru in an animation that looks like a Z-Move.

Same with Mimikyu. Actually, if it does get one then perhaps it can be seen as an indicator that all of the species of the Totem Pokemon will get one since Hakomo-o has one too. I could see GF using them to make the trials even harder...

My Cutiefly just had its pokerface on as it shrugged Totem Lurantis' Solar Blade like it was nothing. I'm expecting the same thing to happen in USM, Z-move or not. Hahah. {XD}

I feel Mimikyu and Lycanroc will probably get their own Z-Moves as well based on the animations we saw of them in the reveal trailer. But I don't think giving Totem Pokemon Z-Moves would be a good idea, because that would be overkill from an already difficult boss.
