Hey I am joining. I have a question, do we know a general area when the Nintendo Revolution will be released?

Sorry, I don't think so.

I hear there will be Mario DDR, Mario Baseball, and Mario Soccer.

Mario DDR? I doubt that that will do well...and I think that the only sports mario game that needs to come out is another Mario Tennis game. That was one of my favorite Mario and Frineds Games besides Party 1-3

Welcome to the club.

Nintendo said they will have the Rev out before the PS3 comes out. So the PS3 comes out Spring of next year. Maybe they will hold to their word and come out come out before the PS3. But I can't see how they can make a controller, get games mad, all them downloading game things, online games and so on before the deadline of the PS3. The Rev we saw at E3 was a prototype so they will be changing the looks around as well.

*hanging out in the vents above the club eating a turkey sandwich and talking to his pocket lint* Well, y'know Billy just thinks you two need too...*crack...crack...* uh...oh...AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *falls from the vent and lands on the ground* Oh...hi guys! I wanna join! Nintendos the best of the best of the best of the best baby!!! *starts drinking some tequila* mmmm...Mario DDR? ya never know that might just be a huge hit, the first DDR on a Nintendo console, and theres WAY too many Mario Partys dont you think? XD

Well that is good, because I really want to get this since I didn't get the game cube. I have had nintendo systems all my life and I think I made a mistake buying the ps2. So I won't make the same mistake with the Revolution.

And I hope they don't change the apperance cause I think they way it looks now is aweomse...and thank god they are gonne be using full size disks!!!

*rubbing his head from the fall* Well i was gonna get a PS2 with my money i had...but i decided to stay true and get myself a DS instead, i have no regrets whatsover! GO DUAL SCREENS!!!

Glad you're happy with your purchase Scotty XD That'd suck if you decide the DS was crap xP

Yes...I'm actually posting in the club I'm supposed to by the Co-Owner in. I need to come here more often! *Writes note to self*

BTW- Any of you excited for XD: Gale of Darkness? I'm not if it's going to be another Colosseum RPG type thing -.-;; They BETTER fix up the character and pokemon models better than Colosseum. Gosh those sucked.

EDIT: Just had to comment that we've got 6 consecutive posts by people with 11 rep dots XD Too much of a coincidence??

Pokemon XD is not a game I'm jumpy about. I got FFXII, Kingdom Hearts 2, the Revolution, the next SSB game (I so so so want to play this game online), a few DS games, LoZ: TP, and a Stargate SG1 game.
To me all the Pokemon games on the GC *looks around for hard core Pokemon fan boys/girls* suckedddddddd......
Pokemon does way better on handhelds.

So what games does everyone want to download on the Rev? (I am so sure I asked that before XD)

As hardcore of a Pokemon fan I am, I have to agree with you Arcanine, the games on the gameboy systems have always done better and they are better IMO. Pokemon Colosseum is great and all but it just doesn't have the same goodness as if you play one of the GB/GBC/GBA RPG's. Now if it was just like them but in 3D I wouldn't have no problems at all, but I know this is stupid but aren't the feet rather big on Colosseum, I mean look how long they are.

As for Pokemon XD, sure I am looking forward to it, but just to add to my collection, because it just looks like the last one over again with a little change in storyline and change in Main Characters, nothing too major, they should have really took the way you play the GB adventures and turned it into 3D, then it would be heaven just going round theregion on a jorney with sweeter visuals, I mean how hard can it really be to do that, I am not really fussed on the Pokemon voices, not a major thing really.

Hmm I want to download every classic Zelda game because I only got into it from OOT, so I want to catch up, I also want all the Starfox and old school Mario, Donkey Kong and others I can't remember XD

Stevo-Kun

I still like Pokemon and all (I still buy the cards every now and then, I still watch the show every Saturday, and I buy new games when they come out). But to me the Pokemon games on the GC are just a big let down. I loved the Pokemon games on the N64, to me they were as good or better then the ones on the handhelds. PS and PS2 (not the systems XD) were great, Pokemon Puzzle League was really fun, and I don't know how many times I rented Pokemon Snap. Hey You Pikachu was ok, got a tad boring.
I just hope some really good Pokemon games for the Rev is made (it's the next gen, I'm sure they will say their names or the RPG games will talk and so on). I just can't wait till they make one online where you can battle other people online. That would be really good, most people can make a really good team. But a lot of them don't have anyone to battle. Because maybe in their school Pokemon is like kiddy stuff, or like me I don't know anyone anymore that plays Pokemon other then my brother. I'm sure everyone would love to test out their team on a PC member and see how good they are.

For me, if you don't have to use a credit card to pay for them then I want.
The old Final Fantay games.
The old LoZ games (I want to plat OOT again and finally play MM).
Some of the old Pokemon games on the N64.
The old StarFox game on the SNES (I remember playing that game).
Snowboard Kids and Snowboard Kids 2 (on the N64).
And maybe some of the old Mario Party games.
The old Army Men games (the little green plastic Army Men XD).
Some of the Bomberman games on the N64.
Both of the Vigilante 8 games.
I'm sure there are others I would like to play but I'll have to look them up.

yeah, i'm with both of you on the Pokemon thing, and thats why i am against pokemon d/p being 3d on the DS. i think that would be a mistake and take away from the rich gameplay the gameboy games have always given us.

Way too many Mario Partys? There are way to many Final Fantasys, and people are still like, "It rocks." If you were a big Mario Party fan, you would know what I mean when I say, "There needs to be more." Every Mario Party has some new awesome feature.

Mario Party 1: The game!
Mario Pary 2: Costumes!
Mario Party 3: Bigger Story Mode! (Bosses and stuff. I would say new characters, but there are new characters in the 1st (Of course.), 3, 5, 6, and probably 7.)
Mario Party 4: On the GameCube, baby!
Mario Party 5: Making spaces with orbs!
Mario Party 6: You can talk into the Microphone, and tell your character what to do!
Mario Party 7: Eight players can play at once!

Yeah, I hate the Pokemon games on GC, but I think it being online would be awesome!

This is my 23rd post in this club. Just felt like counting that.

I also hope it's not going to be 3D. They been doing so good on 2D, I just hope they will add stuff to the games that makes them better (I hope they put the touch screen to good use).

There is a big difference in Mario Party and Final Fantay.
Mario Party games you do more or less the same thing. You run around the board, get stars and play mini-games.
Final Fantay games are different from game to game. You won't find two games where it's more or less the same (some times you can have 4 people battling, others it's 3, you can ATB or Turn Based battling, different people in the games etc).

Mario games have changed over the years. You don't just run around the board and get stars. You're thinking of the old ones. In the new ones you can battle in tournaments. Like have 1 on 1. Then the finals and stuff like that. You play things like games shows, you know, a quiz on your mario knowledge. Each board is now different from "just running around and getting stars." In the snow place you all start with 5 stars. To get stars you must ride on a chain chomp and run into the person and steal their star. In the clock place you must get DK by day, or else Bowser will come at night. DK hits the block after every turn, if he runs into you, he stays in the same place, but if you run into him, he goes some where else. In the water place you must get DK's boat. If you get Bowser's boat, then you lose a star while DK's give you one.
"Ha ha! I don't have any stars!"
Then you lose 20 coins!
There are also different spaces. Some lead to game shows. Some lead to the start place! While some let you play a mini game and let you get some coin.
In Final Fantasy, you fight guys all the time. I think it's RPG, not sure, but I know what you mean. Like Pokemon. If I've played Pokemon, I know what you mean by "they have different features."

The characters in Final Fantasy change. The setting in Final Fantasy change. The moves in Final Fantasy change. The gameplay in Final Fantasy change. None of that changes in Mario Party. Final Fantasy has different games with the same type of gameplay, but there is so much difference in the games, unlike in Mario Party, where the gameplay stays the same. Plus, Final Fantasy is MUCH deeper.

You'd have to be a true fan to know what I mean. And I'd probably have to be a true fan of FF to know what you mean.

How come you changed your name!?

25th post in this club.

meh, people kept putting a vowel in my old name (to make it camatz) when it was really supposed to be a basketball nickname (like TMac, except my teammates gave me CMatz - C for Christopher and then Matz was the 1st four letters of my last name) but no one here got that so i went to my video game username. And its cooler too.

I think it's a nice user name. But just a tad harder to remember. XD

I can't wait to play SSB online. It's going to be so good. Maybe we could have teams (like SSBM you have Red, Blue, and Green, teams). And even if we couldn't have colored teams in a battle we could have like "Arcanine, Dark Penguin, Stevo-Kun, and DeathScape are on Team 1" and something like that. And on PC we could start tournaments for the members to battle each other. It will be so great once the Rev comes out and we can play online. We can play other PC members, we can play out friends and so on. And if that head set thing is true we could talk to each other when battling at the same time.

I can't wait, I want to play SSB online so bad.

yeah, that was my main concern. i mean, cmatz0 was so easy to remember, but would people actually remember my new one?

and to tide us over until the Revolution comes out, we can play online on SSBM: DS.

Yeah, i think they would put your username under your character, so people would know who you were. That would be really cool to have intriquate PC team tourney's for Smash Bros, and tourneys for other games to *coughFINALFANTASYCRYSTALCHRONICLEScough*
