Don't forget the big green dinosaur with long tongue! Yea.... Nintendo is losing people because they look kiddish.... and I'm starting to hate Mario games. Not all..... for example, I LOOOOOVE Mario Tennis, Mario Kart and Mario Golf, but I have played Mario Strikers and that game of Mario of baseball with a friend, and they ruin the sport. In Strikers, I think you can only choose one character and everyone else is troopas and toads and the @!$/ goalkeeper is that crocodile from Donkey Kong.

And they totally ruin baseball with that game... adding the castle and stuff, what's next? Mario Swimming Contest in the castle's pool? Mario Mountain Climbing? Mario Marathon? I agree with Arcanine.... Nintendo will ruin Mario.... they should just add back the games of 2D into GC and play those games, where Mario is himself and he doesn't try to play something.

You need 11 people to make a soccer -erm, football team. If every single member of a team were a Mario character, there wouldn't be so much teams.
 
I totally love FIFA games, they're my favorite sports games.

What has happened to people?

I remember when that fat moustached guy and his friends were cooler than the other side of the pillow, and that yellow electric rat was known by everybody in 98 because of the first Pokemon games and if you didn't have one you weren't 'cool'.

How in the world is Metroid Prime, LoZ and Geist kiddy?

I just want to know why?

All I know is that before the GC came out nobody thought Nintendo was kiddy, at least in the general area of where I live.
 
I don't even like to admit I have a Gamecube <_<;

But I'm so headstrong I do~ Just to make sure people get teh impression that anyone would like a GC. And I'm always talking about my DS <33
 
I usually talk about PSP, hell its the only system I have ever brought to High School

It had NBA in it <3 my favorite game
 
Over here at my school a lot of people have a Gamecube and me and this guy always talk about games in our history class. I own a GC, GBA SP, and a DS. I trade sometimes with my friends to play games like God of War and other exclusives that are good. My favorite system is my DS, I love the darn thing!!!! Gamecube comes in a very close second, I guess it's because I have really gotten into the DS since I got it. My favorite games for both is Mario Kart DS and Resident Evil 4.
 
I wouldn't say the actual system disapoints me though I wouldn't get it anyway but the line-up of games is just, bad.

Some of this stuff might happen but some of it is just plain nuts, not crazy but I can't imagine Nintendo doing stuff like not putting in a backlit screen if the new SP's do and the DS does.
 
Gah.. so much speculation for the GBE! =D I am soooo not going to waste my money on the DS now, and wait for the GBE.
Wah.. and someone PLEASE at least tell me where to find screenshots of GC games? =(
 
It will have a backlit screen XD are you *kidding* me, Nintendo would *not* put out a new system with 3D graphics without a backlit screen

GBE will probably be released in early 2007 :P (which truthfully is only like a year away XD)

I mean they planned it so the GBE and Revo connect together and not the Revo and DS, so i am sure they aren't gonna hold out in it forever ;P

*awaits to see GBE be revelaed at E3 06 too*
 
For me, a more realistic release date would be late 07 to early 08, late 06 to early 07 is too early, they would be diluting the handheld market waaay too much if they release the GBE while the DS is still popular.

I think they will release the GBE around the end of the DS's life, like they did with the DS and GBA, they milk the DS for one more year while the GBE will be their main priority.

Maybe they will show something in E3 about it but not actual hardware.

Just my two cents.

DS is their "Third Pillar" (quotes Nintendo) anyways, they would want to totally capture sales from Sony's PSP.

They released GBM even though DS is still fairly new, I mean they are totally different systems just under the same brand they would *not* wait till the end of DS's life :P
