I'm planning on getting Excite Truck once it drops in price. I've heard some mixed opinions of it, and I'm not exactly sure if it's worth $50 for me or not. Seems a bit too arcade-racing-ish for me. =/
It's surely not worth 50 bucks, at least not for me. I'd get it after it drops of price for the same reason, while I could then go to the movie theatre and spend less money playing on similar arcades. It looks like a good game though, but not one I'd play for hours. ._.

Anyway, I was thinking of getting Wario Ware for Wii, but I'd also enjoy Red Steel and I'm currently only willing to spend my money on one game. I also heard Metroid Corruption is going to be launched. ;_; Any suggestions?

Hmm, well, Metroid Prime isn't gonna be launched for months yet to my knowledge, I might be wrong though, and well, it depends, you may find yourself liking Red Steel, but once it's completed, do you see yourself replaying it until you get your next game? I dunno, that's what I think atleast.

I've replayed Prime and Echoes like you don't even imagine. XD I'm a big fan of Metroid, :P

As for the launch date, I don't really care as long as it's on 2007. I can wait, since I'm not that desperate about it... One game I'm actually desperate about getting would be Banjo-Kazooie 3, but that's exclusively for Xbox360. :x

But what the heck, imagine what would have been of Rare if they had stayed with Nintendo. We'd be enjoying some of the highest-ranked games when it comes to creativity, on the mighty Cube. ;_;

I think Nintendo did the right thing with selling Rare. As amazing as Rare's N64 library was, they were annoying to work with. Their games were frequently delayed, yes it payed off (Rare games always look beautiful) but it's not good business. They left with Star Fox Adventures, which wasn't the most impressive thing in the world. All of the games that they have released in the Xbox and 360 haven't been up to par with their N64 titles. So, I think Nintendo sold them at a good time. Games were taking too long to make and they lost their creativity. Games still look great, but that's not what matters.

No, what I meant is, whatever game you buy next, do you see yourself replaying them again until you get Prime?.. I know Prime is great, I love them games, and according to Amazon, it says the European launch for MP3 is June 30th, but I don't think that's final.

And I agree with Triforce.. their recent games after they left Nintendo, have not been that good at all, heh, sure, they did another perfect dark, but hey, looks aren't everything, and Nintendo are not at loss by selling them, imo. Because as we know, Nintendo are the most creative game makers in the industry today.

Rare is a good company, they're just...horribly lazy. o_o; If they got their act together, they could really become a valuable resource for the 360. I just hope that the BK game doesn't suck, even if I won't be playing it. I loved BK and BT..was okay, so I'd hate to see the series plummet.

Anyway, I want excite truck, but I'm not totally sure on it, so can anyone sway it for me
I like it, it's loads of fun. But like Robo said, $30 might be a better price tag for some.

Well, I am thinking about either getting Monkey Ball or Rayman for my Wii soon, but I could also get a tablet for me PC so I can draw with that, what do you lot think I should do?
You should flip a coin. XD
I like Rayman, it's a fun game with lots of mini-games. But that's just me.

Anyway, I was thinking of getting Wario Ware for Wii, but I'd also enjoy Red Steel and I'm currently only willing to spend my money on one game. I also heard Metroid Corruption is going to be launched. ;_; Any suggestions?
The controls for RS takes time getting used to. They feel off and it isn't a "pick up and play game". I like the game, but at first I thought I shouldn't have picked the game up.

Rare lately has been dropping the ball on games. They used to be really good, now it's just a "Blah, lets make another game" type thing. They haven't been getting high marks lately (even with their past few 360 games).

OH, I picked up Rayman the other day ($30 bucks), I love it. Too bad some games make me sore all over. But other then that it's a great game. XD

Never trust amazon, they said back last year that ssb:B and MP:3 and SMG were all going to be released on the 30th of march.

Monkey ball is a pretty fun game, I picked it up just before new year, and I don't regret it, except some of the mini games are horrible, but its immense fun with friends, oh and the single player is quite good

Yeah. I got it for Christmas with my Wii. I would have gotten Red Steel, but EB Games was sold out. But I do think it's pretty fun, though it took me a while to get used to the tilting and all.

My favorite Wii game was Twilight Princess though, it's very addicting, even though collecting tears gets a little old after a few times.

I haven't said anything meaningful in here for a while. So, I thought I'd share some Wii links. These are sites that I frequently visit while using Opera on the Wii.

Games

Katamari Damacy
Truly bizarre. Katamari if it were released on the NES.

WiiCade
Collection of Wii friendly Flash games.

Wiidoku
Daily Flash based Sudoku games. I have no idea how this is different than other internet sudoku games. But, it has "Wii" in the title, so what the hey.

Internet Channel Performance

Wii Homepage
Features tabbed browsing and some useful bookmarks.

Wii Tabs
Tabbed browsing. Add a tab, close a tab. That's it. You can't name tabs. I use this when Wii Tabs Portal is down.

Wii Tabs Portal
Everyone knows about Team-DSX's Wii Tabs, so there isn't much too say.

Messenger Clients

MessengerFX.com
Flash based MSN client. Works on Wii. I was having some troubles though. I don't know if it was because of the site or not. My text input box kept closing as I was typing.

Multimedia and Menus

Viewii
Never use YouTube, Google Video, or Flickr on your Wii again. This site searches those sites and displays the media in a full screen display automatically. No more tiny viewing windows or having to zoom in.

WiiFii
Another collection of Wii Flash games, but in a Wii Menu format. ... And Duck Hunt. XD

WiiX Online
Collection of games, applications, messenger clients, and portals - all in a cheap Wii like menu.

And...I mentioned it before, but... Wii Media Center X. A new version is on the way. I still think this thing looks promising. Also, Mii Mega Mall. I have not used this, but supposedly you can upload and download Miis to your remote.

That's a really nice list, Triffy. :D You should post it to your LJ and make it public, so that you can easily link to it. I'll keep it in mind should I get Wifi~

I'm aware no one here is an expert, but I got this USB router-type thing made for Wii and DS, and when I do the test connection on Wii it says it couldn't get an IP address. Anyone know what to do? I emailed Nintendo and the company that made this, but they're not responding. -_-

Mario Kart 64 has been confirmed for next week in the US:

But new titles don't begin to describe the array of game action available on Wii. With yesterday's Virtual Console release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past from the NES, the library of downloadable Wii titles grows to 42. Also, next week will see the addition of an all-time favorite, Mario Kart 64. Nintendo will continue to make weekly announcements to update Wii owners about upcoming releases.

I just thought you guys'd like to know.

Does anyone know where to find the Default Router code thing? I need it for the manual WiFi setup.

... ALttP is from the SNES. ;_;

But anyway, I think I'm going to get MK64 then, at least it's going to entertain me more than any other VC game yet. I'm waiting for SSB too...

Oh, sorry. I have something very similiar to the official dongle, it's called WiFi Max by Datel. I'm using Windows XP.

No one really knows about this thing, so probably no one can help. I didn't know if it would be like in my control panel or something. Maybe I'll email Datel.

As far as I know. The WiFi Max is for the DS and the PSP; not the Wii. When you go to install the software you should be prompted which system you want to create an access point for (I don't know why. It really shouldn't make a difference).

It gives specific directions for the Wii in the manual. o_O; So I'm thinking it works for Wii. xD

Let me try to re-install the software. Thanks.

EDIT: Nope, doesn't have any system selection. It's made for DS and Wii, though. All I'd like to know is if you know where to find the deafult router code thingymabobber.
