Now that Miiverse is no more...

    It's time for you to share your fondest memories of said service. And hopefully get in touch with people you have met in Miiverse as well.
     
    I didn't use Miiverse on a regular basis, but sometimes after playing random people in Smash Brothers online, they would message me with it. It's disappointing it's gone, hopefully they come up with something similar.
     
    Xbox user here, what was the point of the Miiverse? Was it more like your avatar and you can interact with other avatars through messaging/pictures?

    It was a service that allowed you to post messages about the game in question, either written or drawn. Some games went further than that and Super Mario Maker for example allowed you to post comments that would show up within levels.

    Smash Brothers had a whole stage that had Miiverse posts in the background, and if you won, you got to post one yourself for future people to see.
