Yeah, Japan doesn't really into true animation quality, especially in series. Doesn't bother me though. I mean a poorly animated anime series still looks infinitely better than a majority of western toons nowadays. Did you see what they've done to Tom and Jerry?;_;

Primetime TV show with a lot of advertising spots on its own network with celebrity producers and A-list American voice actors and celebrity cameos almost every episode and lots of licensing rights to pay? Seems about right for The Simpsons.

Jesus. But then again I've read that Japanese animators get paid crap or get outsourced to South Koreans to keep labor costs down. Outgrowth of Tezuka's competitive drive.

American animators get paid better I guess.

Well, that and The Simpsons has a whole armada of A-list American voice actors that American anime dubbing studios like Funimation cannot afford.

Dunno really, depends. I probably get in about 3 - 4 hours a day, of course some days I'll watch more, others less. The days of doing 14 hour One Piece marathons are gone though.

I think my anime watching rate has actually gone up since I've been working 40 hours per week. Wasn't expecting that.

I have 2 screens so I watch can watch stuff when I'm browsing the net or whatever.

3-4 hours sounds about the same as me a year ago. I never did sit for 14 hours tho even while marathoning OP. It was 6-7 at most haha.

I'll be marathoning a lot of series in two months. Still won't be able to give anime more than 5-6 hours though. College starts. :p

Not for a lot of shows, no. If a show is really good then I'll obviously give it 100% attention instead of just 80%.

Ahhh, hope Wowow gets another season. Don't think it was selling particularly well but those government funded toons don't really need to. That being said I don't think there would be enough source material for another 25 episodes, LH s2 in 15 months time pls.

66.6. Neat. Mine with lappy is 76.5. With Seki-kun is 79.9 iirc. And with sister blade is 85.8. Highest with Blade out of all my friends I think. Used to be over 90 though.

I don't browse anything while watching in fear of missing out on stuff. And yes, more wowowow is a necessity.

I like how they essentially previewed the entire season with the Akatsuki arc and Infinite Gold raid arc.

Also thinking about it I'm just the same as other people with their interest in becoming loli's. Though in my case its the opposite because of umm...certain orientation differences.

@Magic - Well, it is personal preference, really. I'm okay with seeing naked ladies if the rest of the thing is good. Hell, I am not ashamed to admit I enjoyed Freezing - way more nude ladies there ;p I just didn't feel like EL had much substance. Sure, you can say neither does Freezing possess much of it but there's quite a bit of difference between them when it comes to what they're trying to be. Plus, characters in Freezing were likeable for the most part too is what I feel. EL, to me, was gorefest just for the sake of shock value. And with characters either too bland or too annoying for my liking. Couldn't relate to/like one.

But I'm curious now - what exactly did you like about the show?

I quite like the art style here. Last anime I saw with piano, violin and romace was nodame. If this approaches anywhere near Nodame's territory, I'll probably love it to death. Looking forward to this series the most out of the newly announced series. Apart from the obvious Log Horizon S2, Psycho Pass S2 and other good stuff.

Yes. I really am liking the atmosphere from this trailer. And the plot summary is intriguing. I'll be waiting for this with bated breath. :D
