Yeah, Japan doesn't really into true animation quality, especially in series. Doesn't bother me though. I mean a poorly animated anime series still looks infinitely better than a majority of western toons nowadays. Did you see what they've done to Tom and Jerry?;_;

Primetime TV show with a lot of advertising spots on its own network with celebrity producers and A-list American voice actors and celebrity cameos almost every episode and lots of licensing rights to pay? Seems about right for The Simpsons.
Jesus. But then again I've read that Japanese animators get paid crap or get outsourced to South Koreans to keep labor costs down. Outgrowth of Tezuka's competitive drive.
American animators get paid better I guess.
Those celebrity cameos don't pay for themselves!
Well, that and The Simpsons has a whole armada of A-list American voice actors that American anime dubbing studios like Funimation cannot afford.
