Seems like a normal breedject to me: a breedject is a Pokemon obtained as a result of breeding, but it's not what the breeder is after due to it not having perfect IVs/desirable Nature/being shiny, so they give away on the GTS for others to use as a start at least for breeding themselves or even outright keeping it as their own Pokemon. Congrats, Moon Ball Froakie is pretty sweet too!

Just googling the Eevee.vip OT brought up a whole bunch of hacker concerns, so it's safe to say this Pokemon is hacked.

It's a bit strange that someone Wonder Traded a shiny Pokemon, but it is a Pokemon that was available in Ultra Wormholes, so not super rare and out of the realm of possibility (the 3 max IVs seem to support that theory as well as all UW Pokemon would have at least 3 IVs). This Pokemon seems to be fine!

  • Pokemon: Rayquaza
    Shiny: Yes
    OT: PKSM
    ID: 993401
    Level: 100
    Date Met: 7/25/2020
Region of Origin: Ultra Space Wilds
    Nature: Hardy
    Ability: Air Lock
Ribbons: Alola Champion Ribbon, Battle Tree Great Ribbon, Best Friends Ribbon, Effort Ribbon, Footprint Ribbon
Location and Level met: Apparently Lv. 60
Where and How: Wonder trade on Ultra Moon
IV/ Characteristic: Likes to trash about. I haven't unlocked the calculator in this save file so I don't know exactly.

I wasn't sure what to make of the trainer ID. As I understand it PKSM is a homebrew app, which did give me pause, but it doesn't mean the Pokemon is hacked I suppose. People also use the software to do things like transfer or duplicate Pokemon, so maybe it's a legitimate Pokemon that was cloned. Seeing the hardy nature also made me think it might actually be real this time. If you are going to hack in a Rayquaza, why not give it a competitively-viable nature like jolly, adamant or naive?

I wasn't sure though, so I wanted to ask more experienced gamers what they thought.

PKSM is the default OT given to Pokemon generated by the app, and I believe that Hardy is the default nature that it's given (as it's the 'first' coded nature in the game). It's unlikely someone would name themselves with that OT, so sadly this Rayquaza is most likely hacked.

So I was given a used copy of Ultra Sun and it had a number of event Pokémon on it. I've put most of them in my living dex, but I already had a Marshadow and a Zerora and I was wondering if I could use these two as trade fodder. The ot on the Zerora got me wondering about the legitimacy of all of the Pokémon on the game card though. I'm not sure how they were obtained as I'm pretty sure the game card was purchased second hand from a GameStop.

Oh. Just googled it, PokeNursery is a Twitch streamer who trades hacked Pokemon, like someone else said about a different person's case on this thread. That's kinda upsetting.
