Sorry for the late reply. Didn't get a chance to look at it until now.

That is, without question, a fake. The energy symbols used are the biggest tell that it is a fake from my experience.

Hi, just moved recently and came across this card I know was rare and was looking for price.

The card is Ninetales from the Base set, card 12/102, Shadowless, non-first edition.
It is the error card that is missing the damage from Fire Blast.

The card is as close to mint as can be to my knowledge. I remember when I first got the card that I put it in a glass baseball card display case and kept it in a desk away from sunlight. I'll upload pictures once I'm able to show quality but the card basically went from the pack to the case and hasn't been touched since.

Would really appreciate some help with pricing on it.

These can go for quiet a bit of money-if you have a picture of the card to access any damage than that'd be great

They're not original base set- the first one (if legit, as it looks like it has a holo effect) looks like a promo, the second one is from Gym, the second Neo Genesis and the thrid is probably from Gym.
Value wise they're with about 10 cents each (not counting the first card as I'd need better pictures to see if that one is really-if it has a holo effect than it may not be) :)

Ah I see, thanks! Somebody told me that it was base set because of the strange back :P, and no the first one doesn't have any holo effect. Thanks for the reply! :)

That "strange" back just means it is most likely a Japanese card from 2002 or earlier, 2002 being when the Japanese card back was changed to one that said "Pokemon", but was different enough from the international back that you could still tell from the back that it was Japanese.

I don't recognize that card on the far left.

I have done all the ebay checks and going by what I have seen he has a lot of first addition cards etc and I have checked the fake check list however I am no expert , I have compared photos etc of the cards but unsure what to do next , he has a first edition machamp for eg dates 1999 - 2000 wizard and a few more .. I bought them in a collecters case , all kept in plastic

any advice would be much appreciated

oh dear I am crap at this site lol

my son has a full what looks like collection of various cards ,,
eg this card machamp edition 1 ... 8/102 .. has a star beside it
1999-200o wizard and many more like it hologram etc

has ancient mew etc ....

all in a collectors folder

Also when is was trying to search for references for holo card prices I realised the one I have seems kinda different. Instead of only having a holo effect in the background it covers the entire card, even the Pokemon and how should I say this, it looks like it's sparkly?? Does this mean the metagross and entei are fakes?

hey guys. So I just found 2 sealed tins in my crawlspace from when I was a kid.

- 2006 rayquaza ex tin

-2006 Kyogre ex tin

The rayquaza tin has a very very small rip in the plastic but the Kyogre tin is spotless. I cannot find a single one of these for sale online. Thanks for the feedback
