Official PC Artworm Thread

Okay I lied. :< I did something different at first, which was just as easy as extending the lines, but extending them looked better.

What troubled me was that I just did a terrible blending job, and screwed up some of Hazuki's work. :< Hopefully it isn't too bad though...

Dies Irae. >:D Day of Wrath.

Argh, I really should've been doing my homework. Dx

And the attempts at the worm I did on CME's piece looked so much better than this. :| Oh well. It was fun, nonetheless. x3

Your piece looks so cool, Loki. : D My extensions were lame anyway, they were just to spark some ideas that blending IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE! XD

Hopefully it's okay, red ranger. D: I tried to clean up the textures and stuff on the far right for you, so it'd be a bit easier to blend it up.

[/pitied myself. xDDD Didn't want to inflict it on someone else]

And, thank you CME. :D It's my first -somewhat- larger piece ever since my second to last request shop, I think, so yeah... turned out unexpectedly better than I thought it would. xD!

If I'd had time, I would've tried it. xD Although that strange noise effect would've been difficult to replicate. :<

Well it was from a brush, but you could've just added some scratchy textures and it would've matched okay. Gender has the best ones.

Just as a heads up, the artworm is supposed to floooow. The pieces aren't supposed to be seperate, because where's the talent and skill in that? The colors are supposed to blend into each piece and link them all together. xD;;

Yeah sorry about that my bad, I completely forgot and I was in a rush to finish my homework. D:

Honestly... don't rush through the pieces. I took a day to work on mine, not an hour. Take the time to BLEND your piece with the one before it so it doesn't look slapped on. Otherwise, what's the point?

^ That would be a nice idea, but... I dunno. :| If someone wants to bring it up to steve or kwesi or whoever would make the addition, go for it. xD; [/cause I don't know what to say on the subject anyway.]

And I'd say that since this is probably the first artworm most of us have done, (mine too) it's probably not going to turn out too amazing in terms of blending.... xD;;; I'm sure it'll turn out better if we go around a second time.

I think CME was talking about the blending in their own piece, not the connecting from one to another. I mean if you can take the time to do it on a smaller canvas why not on a larger one?
Also I already pm'd Rukario… he said once it's proves more popular…

Take the time to BLEND your piece with the one before it so it doesn't look slapped on

Doesn't that mean connecting the last piece with yours? xD; That's how I interpreted it...?

And alright, well, guess for this first round, we'll just use various imagehosting sites that don't have limitations, and once we get to the second round, I'll drop Steve a PM. How's that sound?

Oh and, CME, do you mind if this thread also doubles up as a discussion thread like it's been doing, or do you want to make a separate thread?

What I mean by blending is taking one element from one part and branching off of that into your own piece. They are supposed to look all connected, not separate pieces.

We can keep discussion here.

Also if that's the case psd sharing?
Sounds like a good idea, but what's the point? I mean, if you need the PSD, that's basically just saying you want to edit the previous addition a little bit, which would be, in a way, cheating. PNG work fine.

By the way, are we suppose to leave a transparent space when we submit our addition?
