I'm almost 100% certain there will be a Dark type gym, because I'm sure the developers have all noticed this and Dark has been in the E4 enough. I mean it's the only one left without a gym. Also, I'm confused that Water would be the first gym...

Then again there always was a slighted playing ground at the first gym: Johto was the only region where each starter did NOT have an advantage.

I hope to god that we get an electric E4, but that amusement park pretty much kills that.

They look like Pokabu and Munna but I'm not sure.

...I doubt the typing of the gym has anything to do with the starters. Now that I think of it, it never did. Rustboro, Pewter, and Oreburgh cities fell under the coincidence that major environmental factors contributed to the typing, but it's not like you have to pit your starter against the first gym.

I agree an electric typed E4 would be a nice change. But I don't know why the amusement park kills that possibility...

And I can't make out those pokemon, so I won't bother trying to speculate XD

^there's an amusement park (supposed gym) screenshot with flashing lights and other electric-y stuff

Well age never really mattered anyway. It's about experience. Whitney admits that she only just joined the Pokemon training community and her Clefairy's stalling and Miltank's rollout are a hell of a pain. Maylene was young, but she was a tough gym leader if your levels didn't max hers.
LOOK AT TATE AND LIZA! They're kids, but their double battle combination always ended up KO'ing my Swampert when I had one...
I think the typings are cool, and it's nice to finally see a Gym Type that's never been before... Dark.
Totally agree with this. Yeah, it's not about age but about experience. Those three I had a tough time beating too (though I tend to defeat Tate and Liza with my Absol XD ). Don't underestimate the young ones. :P

As for the gym typings and the leaders, I'm liking those. Doubt the later gyms will be true though since you don't get too much gameplay from demos usually. Like everyone else though, yes on Dark gym please. D:

There should be a Dark Gym and I should be the leader. Nuff said.

It's a different spin on how the mental workings of a team goes.
All of the other teams don't really focus on the relationship between people and Pokemon; it's an afterthought to Teams Magma and Aqua, pathetic excuses to continue chasing their dreams.

new rumours from pokejungle:

-Gigaiasu is Rock/Dark
-Moguryuu is Ground/Steel
-Shikijika is Normal/Grass
-Mamanbou is indeed Luvdisc's evo (was there a doubt?) and is Water
-New pokemon named Bakuchou is Water/Flying (the swan?)
-Imomushiba is the caterpillar and is Bug/Grass
-Koalagi is a new Grass type (Koala) which looks similar to child and its backsprite looks like a bush (lolwtf?)
-Pokemon Musical is indeed the replacement for Contests
-The "Appeal" portion of the Musical is extremely simple and apparently made for children
-Seasons will cycle through, each lasting a week
-Shikijika does have a seasonal gimmick
-New attack "Seasonal Beam" which changes type based on the season, summer is fire and winter is ice was listed

KOALA? AUSTRALIAN ANIMAL? Oh my God.

Wait are they native in other countries? Idc, that's a positive for Australia... and I dreamed of a Koala recently...

Do you think Koalagi could possibly be the green Bandai figure that was revealed with Kibago awhile ago?
