I've actually never had the item I don't think... So I don't know if you can get the item legally or not.

What does it do?
Is it something interesting?

If it's like the old GSC, no, it just sits there.

I know there's a point where you can buy one, before Union Cave for the first time, (though it might be like the Bike and it's too expensive to ever actually obtain), and I could have sworn there was another spot in the game that sold them that was more reasonable.. maybe in the Mahogany Town hideout?

No-one can tell me anything about he orignals that I don't already know. I eat, sleep, and breath GSC.

When I got there, Slowpoketail wasn't on the list of Buyable items. And yes, this was before the events at the Lake of Rage.

So it may be like the Red Chain and Magma Rock in DPP, where it's in the coding, and part of the storyline, but is not utilized.

It's quite unfair. RageCandyBar is obtainable, but not SlowpokeTail :<
 
If you didn't obtain the Slowpoketail like in the originals with hacking like you did so, then the code was encripted to the game, but the item itself was never put to be available. I do remember knowing the RageCandyBar was put to be available in the game as a Key Item, but seeing as the Slowpoketail isn't obtainable, then I guess it wasn't a needed item this time around.
 
lake of rage, unflooded

Hay guys does anyone know when the lake of rage is not flooded, there are screens of bulbapedia of it when its not raining and the tree maze is fully visible, does anyone know when this is???
 
that sounds cool, wait is the lake of rage flodded even after gyarados is caught?
 
wait, i just went there, it wasnt raining and i went through that maze thing, a man in the house gave me TM10

it's definitely day-based, otherwise, how difficult would it be to get if it were random? y'know? not to mention it has to be accessible again, so, random just wouldn't make sense.
is there anything other than TM10 you can get out of that place?
 
I have all 16 badges isn'y Oak suppossed to give me a Kanto Satrter? Last time I went there he didn't. Do I have to do something special.
