Old-Time Main-Series

[Hiatus]

Do any of us still find ourselves playing the older main-series titles every now and again, such as Gold, Silver, Crystal, and Yellow? If so, when was the last time we did? Are we planning to try them again sometime?

Me--it's definitely been a while since I'd put my hands on them (three to four years, maybe more), but I would like to try going through them again at some point, preferably Crystal version. I don't have my GBC with my any longer, which is unfortunate; I'll likely have to use some sort of an emulator to play.

I love playing the older games! I really need to find more time to do so, but playing them on my GBC can be a bit of a nightmare because it malfunctions half the time. But you can't beat the sound of classic 8-bit music. <3

I've played through Fire Red once, but I haven't gone back farther than Heart Gold besides that. My first game was Black, so I consider that my classic, haha. And yes, I still play it often.

I unfortunately don't own any of my old games anymore. The oldest game I can play is FireRed, which I was playing frequently, but not as much these days.

I've played the Red and Green around May, which I failed to complete. :P

Lately I'm playing HG and SS, soon Pt and White 2. Playing these games are more than replaying old-game! It's re-exploring the region and trying new things like making a new team. For example as I said from one of my posts from other threads, Yanma and Yanmega are promoted as my favorites due to testing and trying new different things!

I remember the days when I played my original Ruby, but I have since turned focus away from that. Now the oldest game I found myself going back to was my Soul Silver and Platinum for some reason.

I have been playing Black 2 sometimes, even though lately I used it as a gateway to PokéTransfer. And sometimes I tend to play Emerald and Platinum as well.
