    I'm Julie and even after a couple of these intro posts published on other places, I still don't consider myself a huge pro at introductions.

    Been a fan since at least the OG Pokemon games and anime. Yellow was my first game and Platinum became a favorite of mine. While not an only child on one side of family, I was probably the only active member playing the games and not much to trade with aside from in game NPCs. Aside from gaming and Pokemon, I like to do HTML coding on spare time as well as reading and some art.
    Favorite types of Pokemon tend to be fire, some fighting, and electric. I do love both Vaporeon and Jolteon.

    Not much into sharing my FCs willy nilly but it's on the basis of friendship before I can safely say yes. Maybe in some ways, I'm like Buneary where I start out with low trust/friendship and it takes a bit of work to get me to evolve into a Lopunny.

    In terms of non-Pokemon: big kemonomimi fan (humanoids with animal ears and tail), enjoys a bit of cooking, and reading. I did mention reading twice but that's because I don't mind reading as much as I did when I was a youngster.

    I use Pokemon Home as well as Pokemon Go and TCG Pocket.

    I didn't really do any real trading in Pokemon till SwSh myself. I had nobody to trade with growing up and when the GTS came it was too unreliable for the trade evos, the ones that required items anyway.

    If you like Sinnoh, did you also play Legends Arceus? If so did you like it? =3
    It's not the exact same as Sinnoh, but Hisui is based on it.

    Thank you and YES! I have indeed played Legends Arceus. It wasn't the Platinum others wanted, but I was happy as Wooper to jump into it. On the third iteration of a save file and still been busy with just catching more mons instead of progressing through the story... :wynaut-laugh:

    I was sort of able to trade in Black and White, but it was with a former friend and after that dissolved - I was stuck with GTS and Home trades. Unfortunately, I do have to agree the GTS doesn't work well with evo trades and I kind of didn't do it for that reason alone. Wonder/Surprise trades I remember using a lot before I did notice the fluctuation of "illegitimate" mons. Not that it bothered me for the most part, but when it went overboard was when it got too much to handle for me. I ended up using LA for the trade evos I could do whereas the other ones like Kingdra and Slowking I had no access to.

    Since the GTS seems to be a topic of conversation in this intro, I'd just like to say that was my personal favorite feature of the Gen 6 era games, and without it, it's likely I'd not be here today. If you ever need any trade evo help in the switch series games feel free to make a request in the PC's Trade Corner section, someone usually comes along to help out every so often. :pikathumbsup:

    What gave you the love for Jolteon? Asking as a fellow enjoyer lol.
