Don't you just hate it when your brain doesn't want to function? How do you usually get it working again? Do you ever have one of those moments where your train of thought just kind of derails? :O

I'm having one of those moments right now. It could be that I'm tired, but for some reason my brain just doesn't want to do anything. It's being all lazy and ♥♥♥♥. :[ I do get moments where I'll totally forget what I was going to do. It happens to me quite a lot nowadays I must be getting old omg.

Those are always awful. Walk into a room, and you forget what you're going in there for.

It happens a bit too often with me, I think. >_>

I think a certain member had one a little while ago when making a thread and misspelling a certain word ;) wont name any names though!

I do have themm all of the time though. I'll often open my computer to look up something and totally forget what I'm there to do and get distracted with something else XD. It's annoying for sure!

Too many times this happens to me. I'm especially fond of the "Why did I come in this room again?" moments. If I can't figure out what my last thought was, I usually try to go through a list of what I was doing, and by some miracle I occasionally remember. Or I remember after I already leave: "Why did I fly to Kiloude City? Oh well. Back to Lumiose. ...darnit now I remember I as going to talk to the IV guy back to Kiloude again." If I can't remember at all, I just give up and go do something else, haha.

I love it when my brain drops out mid conversation and I'm left with a story that is totally irrelevant. It's so funny because the desperate confusion on everyone else's faces is priceless man.

Every now and then I temporarily forget common words or how to spell common words. I sometimes also think about different sentence phrasing as I'm saying something and end up blurting out a weird combination of two different words.

YES. All the time. At school when we're given work periods my brain just goes... nope! Or when it's the middle of the day and my brain decides to shut down and fall asleep. I have been SO close to falling asleep in the middle of a conversation, while I was talking. Twice. I don't know what's wrong with me lol. That might be a different story. When this happens I try to get up and walk around and do something, since walking around itself doesn't help that much.

once when I was on vacation my family and I were about to go to dinner but we were held up because yours truly somehow forgot how to tie his own shoes. I have no idea what happened, my brain knew the process but it just wouldn't communicate it to my hands I guess so I was sitting there like an idiot messing with the laces to no avail. then I thought it would help if I untied my other shoe and tried tying that one but it didn't work so my mom had to tie them for me. this was like a year ago too. so yes this does happen to me on the occasion.

Welcome to the world of Bradyphrenia, because I have it and I'm terrible at maintaining a convo.

Lately, I haven't been able to think straight on many things, and react to things in the wrong way. I've also been forgetting simple things, sometimes as soon as I'm told whatever it was, it escapes my mind, and it never comes up in my mind again unless I'm told again.
Another thing - I go somewhere with the intent of doing something, and then forget what it was I'm supposed to do.
It's hard for me to get my mind working again, I don't even know what to try sometimes to do so, as I have a lot of things I'm thinking about at the same time. I think I'm getting Alzheimer's or something.

I do it at work - I'll walk into the stock room to find I have no idea why I'm there

My mom always has those moments when she walks upstairs with a purpose, then she'll go back downstairs, and then we'll all hear her, "Dafuq. I went upstairs for something, but forgot!" She's going senile...And it happens so often whenever she goes out for groceries too -.-

But anyway, I sometimes have brain farts when I'm interrupted abruptly while working on assignments. When I'm typing messages on forums, PMs, etc., I'll stop for a while to regain my thoughts before I start sounding like a babbling fool.

My off days are still on days for some people's standards. I'll just fumble words a bit here and there, but I don't really have any major malfunctions!

This happens way too many times. I'm in a conversation, get off track for a second, and forget what I was gonna say. Or I open a tab to Google something and then I forget. The worst is when I walk into a room with no idea what I'm doing, only to remember as soon as I go into another. I even forget what I want to type in a thread, sometimes.

Brain fart feels like my default state of mind, tbh. D:

I get sidetracked easily, forget words when I'm trying to explain something, forget what I'm doing when I walk in a room... it's a miracle I can even function sometimes.
