Probably quite a bit. Maybe not as much as from domestic deals, but still a lot. I'm assuming you don't get much hockey there. I bet there's quite a bit of that on in Sweden, Finland, and Russia, though.
Something I'm pulling for. Or, at least, loosening the restrictions on handouts athletes receive and, y'know, allowing them to actually work some sort of job to make rent and food expenses that the university scholarship doesn't cover, since athletes have substantially bigger appetites than your average student.
The whole wage thing might cause a ton of expensive non-revenue sports to fold at schools nationwide, though.

Most recent growth has pretty much all been down to domestic tv rights. Pretty crazy to think about what middle eastern and American deals will do in the coming years. Can see why my club are so desperate to get back there, not a whole lot of this money trickles down into the football league.
I wonder how much American sports are benefiting from international tv deals. We get 1 - 3 games per day from all of your big 3 sports.
