    Generally I only really have to make the decision in games that allow for romantic options.

    Good examples which...ironically...I haven't actually played females in yet, are Fire Emblem Awakening, Persona 3 Portable (save for this one), Mass Effect, Dragon Age, etc., so it usually comes up in one way or another.

    It's not possible to determine someone's sexuality in Fire Emblem though is it? All my characters were straight.

    Although I feel like the male protagonist and Chrom always had a thing. >.>

    I always pick females when given the chance. I typically like their designs over males characters more. Always seem more memorable. Pokémon Crystal is actually the first game I ever did that in.

    Also I want a Lucina Amiibo. Shulk is cool but I love Lucina so much. She's like. One of my favorite characters ever.

    Male is Gaius. Female is Lucina. Runner up male is Chrom, runner up female is Cordelia. Male and Female Morgan get honorable mentions.

    I think Gaius is my favourite male. He is pretty awesome. Female is definitely LISSA <3

    I knew I had to make a girl Robin when I realised, during character creation, that the female option is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro.
    My tactician is modest in size, redheaded, named Mei, has THE best voice, and ain't putting up with your shit.

    Oh, is this where we discuss how they removed some voice options in the western releases?

    I'm not a very big fan of steampunk.

    I think that may have affected how much I enjoyed FF6 too...
