We got a XYince XY had a demo because it demo, Will we get an ORAS Demo? I wish we do, but it is unlikely because XY had a demo only because it had new features, ORAS Has the same engine but different region? You thoughts please.

Hope so because I want to play it as soon as possible :)
I was dicussing with my friends yesterday about this and we decided it would be awesome to play until Petalburg woods, you could get a taster of the game and I feel the length would be perfect.

Where was the XY demo available? I've never heard of that before...

If there was an XY demo, I would have known. Never saw it.

Ironically, I'm going to the shop now that I saw the word "demo".

There was various stations in places such as Gamestop and Wal-Mart which used the demo gameplay for the E3 showcasing of X & Y. As for ORAS I'm not entirely sure whether this will happen again or not.

The X and Y demo was mainly used to show off Mega evolution and Pokemon Amie, so if there is going to be an ORAS demo, it'll probably be in order to showcase something new to the games, like Primal Reversion or something they haven't revealed yet. Otherwise, I don't see any reason for them to release a demo, as it is a remake of an existing game.

Was there a demo for FRLG and HGSS? I don't think they did. If that is the case, then I'm pretty sure ORAS won't have a demo. Although there is that possibility of a doubt, always!

As cool as it would be, it's unlikely. There's not that much to come from OR/AS that's new, since it's both a remake of an older game and uses the same mechanics of an older game. Sure, there could be a demo to show off how beautiful the Hoenn region is in 3D and to give us a taste of what's been done, but demos are usually released to show off new features, something OR/AS won't bring much of, unfortunately. Then again, that's just me...I don't know how Game Freak operate. x)

iirc actually a couple of weeks prior to the release of HGSS, several stores (including in the UK) set up stations to play early beta versions of the games. I don't think they did that with FRLG but it's just easily as possible for them to do that with ORAS to boost sales figures.

I don't think that they will, for this reason. As soon as they show us the new features and graphics, they're ~basically~ showing us the new game. Or at least, giving us the puzzle pieces. I guess since they did it for HGSS it miiiiight be a possibility, but I don't really think so.

If there is a demo it'll probably only be available in Japan. Soooo I wouldn't count on it.

I think that demos serve the purpose to market the game, more so than show off new features. Some kids buy games after playing them at a store.

I can imagine GF providing a demo of ORAS to show off the graphics and stuff (and in order to market it); however, I have a feeling that if they do make a demo, it'll only be available at certain events like XY is :< It's a bummer, but at least having a demo is better than not having one at all.

Same here. Pokémon demo's don't seem like the kind we'll usually find on the E-shop.
