    OTP = One True Pairing

    On a forum, there are many pairs. Many strong bonds of friendship or love which have been forged over the time spent on this humble forum. But war is approaching. There can only be one true pairing, one pairing to rule them all. (Don't get too heated! This game is not a serious indicator of how your genuine relations are!)

    Firstly, the run-down on how Hurt and Heal works:

    Suppose we had a small game as follows:
    Apple 3
    Banana 3
    Carrot 3
    Durian 3

    Each item on the list has three lives. You may make one move every 60 minutes. Moving with greater frequency than that will result in your move being CANCELLED.

    A move consists of a hurt and a heal, as follows:

    Apple 1 (-2)
    Banana 4 (+1)
    Carrot 3
    Durian 3

    Your hurt will reduce the number of lives of something by 2 lives. Your heal will restore one life. Bold your targets and colour your targets with respect to the target you are hurting (red) and healing, (green) please. You can also split your hurt across two targets, for instance, suppose the next poster were to do the following:

    Apple 0 (-1)
    Banana 3 (-1)
    Carrot 4 (+1)
    Durian 3

    Once a target hits 0 lives, it is OUT. A target may not have more than 21 lives. Any further heals will be negated.

    I have plucked the 30 most recent pairings from the pairing thread, and have conjured 20 up along with some ASSISTANCE from other people on the forum. You may not heal any pairing you are included in unless it is one of the final two pairings, but you may hurt your own pairings if you wish to be rid of them quicker.

    The game begins at once. I'll make my first move and list the pairings below

    After a suggestion, I'm now going to say that we should SPOILER the pairings until we're down to the final 20. At 20 it won't be quite so congested, but having a full page of 50 pairings is a bit annoying to scroll through.

    NB: I've taken pairings irrespective of bans etc, I've simply taken the first 30 from the thread, and then 20 additional pairings that were rather quickly put together! If this does end, I'll probably run a second version where I might take nominations for pairings publicly? I feel that setting up a game from scratch rarely goes down well here however, so I put this one together pre-made and ready to go.
