Pelago Egg Hatching?!

I've heard something about that but I haven't looked into it yet. Do you know how long it takes to hatch an egg this way? Would it even be worth putting your eggs in or are you better off just dashing around in circles on Tauros? I'm sure there's some advantage to it otherwise it wouldn't have been implemented.

Tauros is way faster, but you can put the eggs in there before going to bed or before work or something and they will slowly hatch. Higher level and pokebeans increase the speed. Just a few extra eggs , but it still adds up.

Do they actually hatch? I was just assuming they'd bring your eggs to the point of hatching but you still had to put them in your party to finish it off.

There will be a ! mark above the egg if they are ready to hatch. If you tap them they will hatch, so no you don't have to put them in your party.

Did anyone else not realise this was a thing?

If you develop Isle Avue, you can use it to hatch out eggs! If you're hunting for shinies this certainly might help a little bit even though you've gotta wait quite a while to hatch out most of your eggs. It's just a nice little extra piece of help you might have wanted.

Do you use it?

I did not, because i can breed and hatch an egg in less than 5minutes running around with tauros and having talonflame in my party. Sometimes the egg hatches before another one can even be bred. Breeding is super easy in moon.
