Perfect albums.

As a huge AIC fanboy I'd be inclined to say all their albums (with Layne) are near perfection. Obviously Dirt is my favourite, even though self titled is a little more artistic IMO

Objectively speaking though, an album I think can be enjoyed by almost anyone... Daft Punk's Discovery. Obviously not everyone loves it or even likes it, but it's one I see enjoyed by a lot of people. I can think of a lot of albums that are personally a 9 or 10/10, but that's obviously just my own taste. Discovery is something I think I could recommend to anybody, regardless of what music they usually like.

Lots of albums, too many to think of. However three that come to mind at the moment:

El Camino -The Black Keys (Although could also say this about Brothers)
Random Access Memories - Daft Punk. This album was a revelation for me, I'd never really listened to them before it.
Black Holes and Revelations - Muse. The album that got me into Muse, big-time. Possibly absolute perfection and definitely streets ahead of anything else they've ever done except Absolution, which comes close.

Origin of Symmetry is easily my favourite from Muse.

Bit of a fan of all sorts of music but for me these albums are perfection(or near)
Spoiler:

They are in order 'Youngbloods' by The Amity Affliction, 'Chasing Ghosts' by The Amity Affliction (again), 'Killing With A Smile' by Parkway Drive 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket' by blink-182 and 'Kick' by INXS

Albums that you can listen to from beginning to end and not skip a single track are what I consider to be perfect albums. I think this is a great way to really gauge your taste in music.

What are your perfect albums?

These are mine. I have 35. I'm an album person. I highly recommend all of them to everyone and if you don't like at least 16 of them then we can't be friends.

Though it's not my favorite, I think Sgt. Pepper has little to no imperfections.

Weren't Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane originally recorded for the album? Sgt Pepper's would be even better if those two tracks were in it.

A perfect album for me would probably be the legendary Blackout, by Britney Spears. I love all the songs on it. I don't ever skip any of them tbh.

Anyone know DJ Shadow? The album "Endtroducing" is perfect and flows all together perfectly. Even that little snip of the guy who talks about "eyes as big as jolly ranchers" fits like a puzzle piece.

This song gives me chills.

omg I love that album. that one is definitely close to being perfect, I'd agree with you there. my favorite tracks on it are probably "What Does Your Soul Look Like, Pt. 1" and "Midnight in a Perfect World" but almost every track on it is gold except for "Napalm Brain / Scatter Brain" which is far too long for its own good. it's definitely the best instrumental hip hop album I've heard.

I would say that American Idiot is pretty amazing because every song contributes to a story, and it actually has its own play now (and a movie is coming soon...)

I know it may be a popular album and sort of cliche but IMHO it is the most "flawless" Green Day album.

I never heard someone say 'flawless' and Green Day in one sentence before .. and it never should be also.

Going by the definition of the first post, as opposed to what would be my somewhat stricter personal definition, here's my perfect albums.

Ar tonelico - Hymmnos Concert Side Crimson ~Tsukikanade~
Ar tonelico - Hymmnos Concert Side Blue ~Hoshiyomi~
Ar tonelico 2 - Hymmnos Concert Side Blue Waterway ~Mio~
RAKA by Akiko Shikata
Abominations by Schoolyard Heroes
Fantastic Wounds by Schoolyard Heroes
Hide and Seek by The Birthday Massacre
PAX VESANIA by Yousei Teikoku
Polymorphic Code by The Algorithm

Baseball by Say Anything.
It's a shame it's not very popular compared to their more recent albums, because I really like how. . . real? Baseball feels. Baseball just seems to lay all the emotions out on the table in a way that's very simple to understand but still has a big impact on your own emotions when you listen to it. I dunno, I'm no pro reviewer, just listen to it for yourself if you want to xD

To name a few
Pearl Jam's Ten and Vs.
Foo Fighter's colour and the shape
Bush's sixteen stone
Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill

Here are the albums I currently have on my iTunes that I'd classify as 'perfect'. Or at least albums I find insanely enjoyable & can listen to every single song.

I dont really listen to albums, just random songs, but I would have to say Linkin Park Hybrid Theory, Hollywood Undead Swan Songs, and The Marshall Mathers LP

Alice in Chains - Dirt
Bone Thugs N Harmony - E. 1999 Eternal
Stone Temple Pilots - Core
Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle
Freddie Gibbs - Str8 Killa and Midwestboxframecadillacmuzik
Drowning Pool - Sinner
Dizzy Wright - Smokeout Conversations
Eminem - Mashall Mathers LP
All That Remains - The Fall of Ideals
Chevelle - Wonder What's Next
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here
Five Finger Death Punch - War is the Answer
Immortal Technique - Revolutionary Vol. 2
Nas - Illmatic
Trapt - Trapt (don't like anything else by them really)
Twisted Insane Insane Asylum
Wiz Khalifa - Show and Prove (mix-tape)

That's all I could think of at this time. I also agree that not any album is perfect but I can listen to all these albums all the way through.
