Whatever's cheapest! Digital and physical games all have their own pro's and cons.

Digital:
+ Convenient and quicker to start playing
+ Impossible to lose
+ Much easier to find than psychical (I wouldn't have at least 60% of my PSP games without it)
- Can't be resoled or traded in
- If you buy a game you hate, you're stuck with it forever
- Storage is finite (although my Wii U has a huge 750GB hard drive that I don't think I'll ever fill up, but is a huge issue with my 80GB PS3)

Physical:
+ Can be traded in so you're not stuck with forever
+ Usually more affordable than buying digital
+ You can swap games with friends and save money trying out games
- If you lose them, you can't just re-download them
- Can be annoying having to take around cartridges with handhelds like the PSP & 3DS
- CD/DVD drives can eventually tire and fail

It is impossible to lose digital games unless you forget the password of Steam/Origin/Battle.net/etc. or you deleted the email with the download link.

Forgetting my password to Steam ;; Not that I played those games extensively, but it sort of seemed like a waste of money \: It was only $40 for about 12 games during the sale. Sort of wish that you could transfer the games from one account to another.

You CAN lose digital games. If something happens to your storage.
Or when your account is connected to a game, if something happens to your account.

I love having physical copies of EVERYTHING. To the extent that people have called me a puritan for it. I hate the thought of ebooks, digital games, and albums that aren't on a cd. It feels like such an accomplishment to have every game I own together on a shelf, perfectly alphabetized and in perfect condition. And you don't get that new game/book smell from a digital release, that smell just sends a rippling shiver of delight up my spine :) And it's so much easier to see what your collection is lacking when the entire list is there in front of you :)

Actually, the only semi-digital thing I have is an app for reading manga on my tablet, I'm that bad.

It doesn't really matter to me, I buy games by both methods. Matter of fact, my most played game could only be gotten through digital means; it has no physical copy.

I prefer to be able to hold and display my games, so physical it is. I like to collect in general, so actually having the game is a big thing for me. I have a digital copy of Y, but I mean 1. it was free and 2. I already have a physical one so eh. lol

I'm really in favor of physical. As someone who loves actually having a copy (and the game box among other things!) I can hardly ever go for digital unless I just have no choice, hah. Currently I only have two digital games on my 3DS and one of them is a digital-only title.

Displaying beats all. Having to swap game cards never bothered me, either. ;P

The only time that it bothers me is when my sister doesn't put the discs back in their respective cases ;; Thankfully she doesn't play the PS3 all that much XD

But I just recently bought the first digital games ever, and to be honest, I'd rather have those games displayed on the PS4 UI because it looks significantly better than the PS3's \: But regardless, they are convenient to have, and you can easily switch between the games whenever you please.

Well, I did write about going Physical on my previous post, but today I found a big dilemma, I was unable to buy the game that I can buy physically, in the stores, because it's running out of stocks. So I have no other choice but to go Digital for now lol.
Why don't you wait? Or buy it on Amazon/ebay?

Digital. I have a limited amount of space and the hassle of going out and buying a physical copy that's just going to take up room is absolutely not worth it to me.

I play mostly consoles and I am a bit of a collector, so I much prefer physical copies of games. It also makes it easy for me to lend them to friends, etc. which isn't always possible with digital downloads.

Mostly I think it's that if I'm going to spend my hard-earned money on a game, I like to have a copy in my hands. The exception is PC games... I don't have a CD drive built into my laptop and it's a pain to drag around the USB drive all the time, so even if I have a physical copy, I usually add a no-cd crack after I install it :P

I like the physical copies more because that way I can play the game on multiple consoles. If I want to play a game at my friends' house, I can simply take the game over to my friend's console instead of having to log into my account. All of my games are physical copies, I've never downloaded a virtual copy of a game (a VC game doesn't count). However, when I purchase the MK8 bundle, I'll virtually get LoZ: Windwaker for free which I am stoked about! I think companies are encouraging more digital cop downloads, which uses less resources and saves the company money!

Well, I have tried waiting for months on a certain game store, and it's still not selling the game that I want to buy. Besides, buying in the internet to get a real one might take several days to arrive, I'm not sure if it will worth the wait.

I prefer physical, definitely. Granted, I feel like the big space that they take up on the memory card isn't a big deal since I don't often have a hard time getting more, but you can still be screwed if something happens to them. So I prefer physical, yeah.

I'm fine with both. Physical copies have this visceral satisfying feel, but they're usually expensive and hard to find/buy where I live. Digital copies have no resale value as mentioned before, though they are convenient and one just have to hope that there are no accidental deletes.
