Pleasing to the eye.

I only really care when I am online really anything else not so much

I always care about aesthetics, especially my profile here on PC. It needs to have colors that go well together and don't hurt my eyes, same goes with the font I use on it. I also want to make sure any usergroup color can be easily seen like, say for example I need mod blue to show up but not make supporter green blinding at the same time. I also like to take advantage of the extra supporter perks when I can by adding some cute patterns in the mix.

Also, when I make my forumsets I need to make sure it looks good while being simple at the same time. I tend to also look through loads of pics when I am making new avatars.

I try and make everything look perfect in my eyes. And I focus a lot on what people wear and how they make themselves presented. I come from a long line of people watchers :P

When it comes to public things, I'll care to a point. I prefer function over fashion, so if it works, but doesn't look all that great, I'll use it.

However, there was a person at my writer's conference that was wearing a bright red jumpsuit with mad scientist hair. I may not care a lot, but you won't see me going out in public with that on.

Anyway, I care a bit on how I look, or how my profile looks. I'll try to make it look nice, but I won't go the extra mile to make it look absolutely amazing. My room on the other hand, looks like a complete disaster, but at least I somewhat know where everything is.

How fond of aesthetics are you? Do you take into consideration the aesthetics of things around you, be it your profile design and colours, the colour of your username on the battle server if you go there, how things are placed in your room, around the house, in your garden, etc.? Do you try to make things more aesthetically pleasing, or are you fine with the way things originally are? Add in anything else you'd like to share with us.

It depends but mostly no. I like practical things. I don't care if my room is a mess as long as i know where things are. I don't mind having stuff that is there for aesthetics as long as it doesn't give me trouble.

I'll say right now that i'm REALLY a softie for colorful things, like when i'm outside and see trees and flowers of so many different colors, I get pleasure out of seeing it. Same with things like pictures of rainbow-ish rays.

Which is kinda funny given that I used a black forum theme here for a while, and I still like turning that on.

I have a strange obsession with hair. I love it. I spend maybe about 10 mins every weekday combing my hair. If someone has bad hair, I won't comment on it, but just let eat me up inside.
Zits / Pimples aren't that big a deal for me. I have them, but I don't worry about them.
My room looks like a trash bin, but only around my desk, which is strangely where I spend the least amount of time. Which makes no sense as to why my desk is the dirtiest spot.

I have OCD. It goes crazy in school when desks aren't lined up correctly, or my pencil is slightly off center in the little divot at the top of desks.
When I'm doing art for my art thread, OCD goes ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ crazy. Which is why I have been having trouble making new art, because OCD is preventing me from putting things out, as I feel they are not good enough. I have like 5 new things to put up right now, but I'm perfecting them.

Aesthetics are a huge deal to me. So much so that I will forego functionality so long as it pleases my tastes.
I have the tendency to completely forego functional relationships as long as we look good together. I also find the aesthetic qualities of seemingly trivial things. Like the sound glasses make when you clink them together, or the city skyline at various time of day. I tend to lose myself in wonder about their beauty and will completely zone out mid sentence (and then have to explain that I'm not on drugs).
