Nintendo is pretty stupid.
in D/P You need Regi's to obtain Regigigas,
but, in this game, you need Regigigas to obtain the regi's?
Wtf m8?
 
I know. Nintendo doesn't think before they do some of these things, but as I said, the Regi conundrum you guys are discussing isn't confirmed. I cannot stress this enough.
 
isnt there a screen shot showing the trainers regigigas facing regirock?

However, it has been mentioned in the thread. Its been stressed far too much that this thread is a speculation thread, so pretty much anything, so long as it isn't blatantly over-the-top or isn't using foul language, can be spoken about Platinum. I only say that because people are allowed to express their feelings over the things that have been mentioned in this thread.

Including the Regi-Dilemma. ;)
 
i hope they dont delay platinum, that pissed me off, and i dont wanna wait a year and a half after its supposed release date to get it.

I think you misunderstand.. I was meaning the use of foul language within this thread.. not within the game.. XD;
 
Well, you can never be too careful, when its concerning Nintendo.. they do some of the strangest things, which is pretty much evidenced in some of the accessories they made, back when they started making consoles.

Not to mention the Virtual Boy. Man, that was a major mess-up, for them.. XD
 
i have a quick question. i was arguing with another member about it coming out this xmas. dunno, member said that they talked to best buy and apparently they'll have by the end of this year? i know its possible, but do you all think it will happen?

@revelp8, i highly doubt it, because serebii has a prediction date of early 2009 for the US, so i doubt they'll have it ready by xmas

So yes, you do indeed need Movie Regigigas in order to activate the in-game event that allows you to catch the other Regis.

And to Revelp8, D/P came out 7 months in America after Japan (Sept. 28 2006 - April 22 2007). So expect Platinum to come out about 7 months after its Japanese release.

I got interested on this screenshot:

Notice how Floaroma has changed, not just the gate, but the grass in the down part and a new set of trees... Also, Floaroma is the town wich is said to be a wasteland in the past, and when someone thanked nature, flowers started to grow... Also, Shaymin is the Gratitude Pokémon. Maybe Floaroma Gardens could have something more that some PokéBalls and a house...
 
I just noticed something. Regigigas was rumored to have an alternate form in Platinum but in the picture of him fighting Regirock he appears to be in the same form as in D/P. Does that mean he doesn't have another form or will there be a way to change them?

Regigigas lv 100
Speacil 11th movie tickets for Regigias in DP
Put Regigigas in platinum for speacil events to take place
The event make caves for the Regis emerge in Platinum Sinnoh
Take Regigigas to awaken them like you needed them to get Regigigas in DP
 
Now that we know that you need a 10th movie Gigas to get the Regis, do you think we'll still need the Regis to get the ingame Gigas. Seems pointless to get Gigas so that you can get the Regis so that you can get Gigas.
 
so whats gonna happen with snowpoint temple? Is regigigas still going to be there or will it be gone in platinum or what? any ideas?
