Really? in R/S/E, werent they encountered at level 40? why did Nintendo lower their levels?

could be... but then early in the game you'd have 3 reigs and a gigas at lv 100 that you couldnt control...

yeah, but i think it is given to u in diamond/pearl first.... then imported to platinum triggering the event... im not really sure so just consider that im wrong untill the moment.. maybe the item its holding?

just thought this was interesting. cant wait till plat. comes out! ^_^
 
you are right on the regigigas thing. its initially downloaded to d/p and then transferred to platinum triggering the event. i just read about it on the previous page.
 
I wanna see the way to rebattle trainers that was used in Saphire and Ruby come back, the VS seeker is a pain. I doubt it will eturn to Johto as Nintendo has copywrited the names Pokemon Dusk Silver and Pokemon Dawn Gold, pretty much saying they plan on remaking S/G anyway. I also think they should bring back decorating your room and mystery gift with your friends to get cool stuff. They should make the underground smaller and just make it into a place where you can dig up shards stones and fossils and take the whole capture the flag and secret base thing to a whole new level. It should be playble with your friends via wireless communication or with friends over the wifi using the friend code system, it should have a larger enviroment having samples of differant environments such as desert, jungle, forest etc. It would have a cave section to dig up gems to spend on the same items you would put in your base now, except having the secret base system like in Ruby/Saphire, but still keeping it seperate from the actual storyline. Doubt we will see that though.

By the way can someone link me these pictures of the new game because i cant find them

I actually found the Vs. Seeker to be a lot better than the Trainers' Eyes/Match Call of Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald, respectively. Though the 100 steps to recharge is an initial pain, it sure beats the potential hours; even days, of waiting for someone on the PokeNav to pop up as a challenger.

This was a bit confusing, since I didn't know what you were meaning, at first; what with you talking about Trainers' Eyes/Match Call one minute, then flashing into something different.

I'm much the same; I think they're more likely to remake Gold/Silver, as they did the First Generation games, in the Third Generation. That, and I think I'd rather have a remake, than just having Sinnoh have some sort of trip there. However, just because they have alternate names for Gold and Silver linking to their main site, doesn't mean they are, sure-fire, remaking them.

Not something I was really bothered about, (it was really limiting in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, and all you had in G/S/C was cuddly toys) but if they do, it wouldn't bother me. I'd likely never decorate it, however, unless they make it more flexible than Generation III.

Gah.. attack of a large unsorted paragraph.. x.x;;

The Underground, in my opinion, at least, is fine as it is. Since it is likely going Wi-Fi, this time, it wouldn't make sense to make it smaller. The Flag and Secret Base thing, however, aren't really aspects I'm too bothered about, although I did prefer the Secret Bases in Generation III, over the Underground ones in D/P, as well as them being a lot more flexible in R/S/E.

I'm kind of losing your meaning, now; there wouldn't be different environments underground, because it is exactly that; underground. The gems are just as easily collected through digging as we do for fossils and other items, and the Secret Bases were never a part of the storyline for R/S/E, anyway. The cave idea is really redundant, I believe. However, it would be nice to see Secret Bases on ground level, again.

Where do you think you will access the torn world? where we catch giratina?
i have attatched some screenies for those who haven't seen them [from serebii] ...but what about the regis? where do you think they will be?

personally i think that the underground wi-fi is a great idea, and it will be a good way to meet new people, and a place for PC members to meet eachother :D

IF I remember correctly:
Giratina will be at the spear pillar. The purple ness behind him is probably the torn worlds main portal thing. In the second pik you have a statue in the snowpoint temple 2 warp you 2 the 3 rooms. In the 3rd pic I think lucas in the torn world is the inside of coronet.
 
You know what I hear the Battle Frontier everyone talks about is called? According to my soucres, it is called Battle Island.
Also, it is said Volkner is not going to be the 8th Gym Leader.
 
that makes sense, since one of the screen shots shows Giratinas Origin Forme materializing on top of Spear Piller, so it would make the most sense if it was on top of Spear Piller, though its nice to know its confirmed.

@Glaceon_: why would Nintendo copyright the names if they weren't planning on using them later on?
 
I think we need random wi-fi battles like Battle Revolution. The DS can do it, Yugioh games have that feature, Sonic Rush Adventure has that feature, I want to see it in Pokemon Platinum.

it was really good in downhill jam how i could just have a random matchup, having no idea who i was going to play. i like the sounds of that.

do you think she will have a less boring role in Platinum? because if they are planning on making GSDS then they really need to start implementing better stuff. just a thought.


also, with shaymin, how do you think the form will change?
i doubt it will be like deoxys, mainly because then there'd have to be more of those funny rock things or something. ( and i mean the english game, not the japanese one! )

Considering the various things Serebii's put up over the years (fake Fighting/Dark/Psychic starters, fake Shaymin Sky Forme, etc.), I'm not entirely sure that's actually backing Platinum up. =P

There is, however, plenty of evidence supporting Platinum's reality...ness. Including an official website from Nintendo, more than one source of the images we're seeing, and generally a lot more stuff than somebody who's faking it all for giggles would take the effort to go to.

Y'know, considering that it's said Giratina is from another dimension - and that , I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Platinum pointed to the Torn World being Giratina's home.

He's right guys! Don't waste your money on this like you did on Diamond and Pearl! They were fake too! Kidding. Platinum is real smart one, and you know it. You just posted that because you need the attention.
