Do you not look at anything. People have used up nearly 4 pages discussing those new forms in Platinum and you think it's from the new region. DO you read anything at all?

i read this and a couple of stuff before this, so it seems that its castform or rotom.
but it doesn't make sense because there is one with arms.
but i have never heard of a fighting type weather or a rotom with arms.
Both of the ideas are stupid to me because they make no sense,thus the best idea is that they are new pokemon.
and actually, i have been away from serebii and this thread for a while and was just overjoyed when the new pictures came in. And i said it wouldn't make sense if sinnoh were the background. i never said that i thought they were from the new season(if there is one) but i said there might be a possibility.But all that was speculation and nothing else.
nonetheless, i rarely ever check previous pages unless i know nothing about what happened.

Well it seems i was left in the dark without knowing it.
now lets stay ontopic, and give straight answers, not make even more questions that ask that i am reading.
but i hope some people agree with me that the new forms make no sense.
The best answer is that if if it is rotom, it will either be changed by an event or item, because i don't see anything natural that could make rotom a toaster.
and castform would make no sense either.
the green one looks like a helicopter with a tail.
And if it were castform, only one (maybe two or three if the day/night system counts as weather) would make sense because i only know of a few weather effects on pokemon.
sandstorm,hail,sunny weather,fog, and rain.
since hail,sunny weather, and rain are out, there is little that could make sense.

and yes, that is true ~*Champion Shirona*~, but they are closed fists, and closed fists resemble fighting types the most.
But lastly, the orange one looks a bit like it is steel type, seeing as how its arms(to me at least) looks like a circular saw.

If it were dark type, it would make more sense that it turned into that at night.

The Orange silouette is the supposed new Castform. Comparing it to other Cast formes, you can notice a similarity between them. The Purple silouette is the supposed Rotom new forme. Because the original Rotom has electricity coming out of it, this silouette seems to do the same thing. And because this is Platinum, introducing a new forme seems to be the common pattern.

Actually no, New Formes are the best idea. If they were new Pokemon, it would break the rules of Generations by not having them in the previous games' Pokedex. It is possible that new pokemon will be introduced due to the fact that Giratina is not included in the D/P's Sinnohdex. But because new formes are being released, it is a more likely fact than Gen. 5's appearance. Also, I believe SRKid said that new Gen. Pokes make a Cameo before they are released in a game.

EDIT:: It seems we may have all been mislead as to what the silouettes could be. They may in fact may not be Pokemon at all. The title of the Leaflet says "For hints as to the identity of these silhouettes, check the leaflets attached to the products". There is absolutely no mention of any new Pokemon Formes.

Early last night, blue skY posted some silouettes of what may be some new Pokemon

The green one looks like a Camera. Some of the others could be berries or different Key Items.

Well, to me since all the spinoff rpgs(crystal,yellow,emerald,platinum) are more closely related to a anime show or movie in this case, a new form of castform or rotom from out of nowhere(well i haven't seen the movie yet but i'm guessing a toaster rotom isn't in it) seems very un..nintendo like.
both giratina and shaymin's new formes were shown in the previews.
and i have to agree with the last part, but what about the other ones?
they definitely aren't 5th season, so it means they have to be new forms now since new generation pokemon were never introduced.
but if it weren't for the sinnoh background and platinum box, i would've had a good feeling that they were new pokemon.
I have a good feeling that the red one will be a rotom with electrical hands since there is a horn on it, which castform has no horn but rotom does.
and new pokemon are a possibility, but if they do alter the sinnoh dex and put giratina in the sinnoh dex, they will possibly alter more.

EDIT: Hmm, i see where you are going, and since it is speculation(like everything else) i cannot prove it wrong or right.
The green one makes a lot of sense, but the blue and/ or red one is still completely unknown.
i think the toaster rotom is crazier because toasters are electrical, but that doesn't support the fighting type theory either.
Those simple words have put me and a lot of people back to square one.

WE HAVE NOT BEEN MISLEAD. Just because Serebii said they were new pokemon, doesn't mean they are. I talked to him just today and asked if they were some forms of Rotom. He said they probably are or maybe even Castform. THEY ARE NOT NEW POKEMON. Think people, Nintendo will not add in new pokemon when the pokedex ends at 493, it seems very stupid. They will NOT INCLUDE any other pokemon from a different region into Kanto,Jhoto, Hoenn or Sinnoh. It is the most stupidest thing I've heard. They are INDEED just forms and not new pokemon. Being a new pokemon requires a LOT, like; new identity, new pokedex number, some background info. New pokemon will not just appear spontaneously in Platinum WHEN IT IS BASED ENTIRLY ON SINNOH.

Remember before Hoenn started? Their was a battle between Charizard and Blaziken, we were like OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG look at the pokemon, it looks so cool. It was Blaziken. Remember Destiny Deoxys. Munchlax!! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG something evolves into Snorlax. New pokemon make some kind of indications.

I believe that instead of finding Rotom in Just T.V. Different forms of Rotom can be found in different electronic devices. The normal Rotom can be found in a T.V while one can be found in a Camera or computer PC...you name it.

Why did you quote me? It's hard to tell if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me. I never said they were new Pokemon. I said it was misleading that we are all posting about what Pokemon they are when they could in fact not be Pokemon at all.

And what makes Serebii's word absolute? He doesn't know anything that we don't. The only information provided are the silhouettes with the title. Until we see a Coro Coro page revealing the identity of the silhouettes, we are all on a level knowledge basis.

This is just Speculation. Telling people what is right and what isn't what Speculation is about unless it is completely obvious. So far, nothing is confirmed about these. They could be Items, Berries, or other forms of pokemon as jman said, but saying that it is something when there is no proof to back you up is just kinda rude and annoying.

And yes, I think that not all of these are new forms. I could see the purple one being some sort of a strange Pikachu flashlight and the Video camera, and the blue one kinda looks like a berry, but I personally think that the red one is a new Rotom forme and the yellow one is a Castform forme
