Need help in finding rock smash so I can complete the bonus chapter on about Steve and the old man(sorry forgot the chapter name). Spend 2 hours trying to find it.Also what do next after this?

You'll have to patch it, you won't need to start over.

You're just going to have to apply the new patch over a Clean Pok?mon Fire Red v1.0 ROM or over your Red Chapter Beta 13 Part 1's ROM and continue from there.
In the case you decide to apply it over a Clean Fire Red ROM, you're going to have to make sure that both, the ROM File and the Savefile have the exact same name leaving their file format aside.
Ex: If your ROM is called "redchapter.gba", then your .sav savefile must be named "redchapter.sav"

Beta 11 or Beta 13 Part 1?
In the Beta 11 you'll get it after saving Yellow in Viridian Forest. Once you speak with her parents in Viridian City they'll give it to you.
In the Beta 13 Part 1 it is not obtainable. Wait for the Beta 13 Part 2.

Excuse me! When beta 13 release, I played to chapter Eevee when game was faulty, after you had fixed, I can't continue or play agian that chapter, how to fix it. =((
