1996 was pokemon, so I guessing it came first, I didnty mean like im not okay with the phrase pokemon, but yeah I cant believe none of us say it the proper ways these days, and always use the abbrev. But then again why should we say Pocket monster it is quite long XD

So back on topic.
I think digimon doesnt copy pokemon at all. It's different in almost every form, As Pokemon was based off of bug catching while Digimon was monsters in another world. So yeah I dont think they copied pokemon at all. The MON just stands for monster. So yeah no copying there.

I agree with you there. Pokemon > Digimon
Well that's because both of those series of games and shows kicked off around the same time, and a simple kid can't tell a difference of it all XD I think the "war" was kinda funny, as both hit the same age group, but as we all know today Pokemon exceeded and after the first season of digimon, lets be honest, they fell off considerably with ideas ending in the usually phialure of other compaines that struggle with making new ideas.
Anyways It's fine Bro, just wondering if like someone made a comment before you or something, just stay on topic, no worries ;D

The sprites really improved since R/B/Y. Now there very appealing to look at

Totally. They made some great headway with the sprites now. I wonder how they'll improve with the 5th Gen?

I for one like some of the new styles and colors brought to the table in today's sprites, some of green's sprites were horrific, lol and hilarious. Though something about the new sprites has lost the feel of old school classic pokemon. Kinda like how we all different RBY and GSC to RSE and DP(?) as the different generations of series.
So in a regard to that, I dislike how we are a bit too new school, and wish we could bring back some of the classic elements, you know?
