Hrm, I forgot you could turn battle animations off... Although it negates the fun, it would expedite the training process... but I'm not really a competitive battler so it doesn't really matter to me how long a battle takes.

Haha, well i honestly just don't have the time with college and such. My pokemon are strong enough by themselves (or so i like to think). I just like the bond you get between the pokemon you start with, and keep it all the way through til the end. That maybe stupid, but it suits me. I think eventually, I'll look into EV training, but it just seems way too time consuming.
I don't know if that last question from Fable was directed towards me, but mine has to be Cyndaquil.

hey mectric ur sigs fine.on my pearl iv taken my starter out of my team and my torterra and empoleon and iv replaced them with porygon,gallade and rose rade

Alright DC ;D, ya you spelled Cyndaquil right... so much for me being a pokemon Prof.
Honestly totodile was the ugliest of the 3 starters, and it's evos didn't do it justice either (at least in looks). But I like all the starters honestly, they're made to look cute and lovable. And then the evolve and look strong. It's not that I'm a bad trainer, but IVs just aren't a top priority for me. I have 4 stars on my trainer card, all i need to do is get 100 straight wins at the battle tower to get the last one... maybe i do need to EV train...
